Abstract
(화학식 1)
단, 화학식 1에서 R1은 탄소수 1~4의 알킬기를 나타내고, R2는 수소원자 또는 메틸기를 나타내며, X는 상기의 수소원자 또는 음이온성 친수기로부터 선택된 기를 나타내고, Y는 상기의 구조식으로 표시되는 치환기로부터 선택된 기를 나타내며, 그 치환수는 1~3 중 어느 것이며, 이들 치환기를 나타내는 구조식에서, R2는 수소원자 또는 메틸기를 나타내고, Z는 상기의 구조식으로 표시되는 중합성의 불포화기를 나타내며, 상기 불포화기를 나타내는 구조식에서 R3는 수소원자 또는 메틸기를 나타내고, A1, A2는 각각 탄소수 2~4의 알킬렌기 또는 치환알킬렌기, 또는 탄소수 4~22의 알킬글리시딜에테르 또는 알케닐글리시딜에테르에 유래하는 잔기를 나타내며, l은 0~5의 수, m은 1~2의 수, n은 0~100의 수를 각각 나타낸다.

- 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유화중합용 유화제:

(단, 화학식 1에서
R1은 탄소수 1~4의 알킬기를 나타내고,
X는 상기의 수소원자 또는 구조식으로 표시되는 음이온성 친수기로부터 선택된 기를 나타내며, 이들 구조식에서 a, b는 각각 0~4의 수를 나타내고, B는 화학식 1로부터 X를 제외한 잔기를 나타내며, M은 각각 수소원자, 알칼리 금속원자, 알칼리토류 금속원자, 암모늄기, 또는 알칸올아민 잔기를 나타내고,
Y는 상기의 구조식으로 표시되는 치환기로부터 선택되는 기를 나타내고, 그 치환수는 1~3 중 어느 것이며, 이들 치환기를 나타내는 구조식에서 R2는 수소원자 또는 메틸기를 나타내고,
Z는 상기의 구조식으로 표시되는 중합성의 불포화기를 나타내고, 상기 불포화기를 나타내는 구조식에서 R3는 수소원자 또는 메틸기를 나타내며,
A1, A2는 각각 탄소수 2~4의 알킬렌기 또는 치환알킬렌기, 또는 탄소수 4~22의 알킬글리시딜에테르 또는 알케닐글리시딜에테르에 유래하는 잔기를 나타내고,
l은 A1O의 평균부가몰수로서 0~5의 범위에 있는 수를 나타내고, m은 1~2의 범위에 있는 수를 나타내며, n은 A2O의 평균부가몰수로서 0~100의 범위에 있는 수를 나타냄). - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 화학식 1에서 X가 -SO3M이고, m은 1~2의 범위에 있는 수를 나타내며, l이 0이고, A2는 에틸렌기이며, n이 1~50의 범위에 있는 수를 나타내는 화합물을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유화중합용 유화제. - 스티렌을 포함하는 중합성 불포화 모노머를, 청구항 1 내지 청구항 3 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 유화중합용 유화제를 사용하여 중합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유화중합방법.
