Claims (25)
- 배기 매니폴드를 통해 내연 엔진과 유체 소통하는 배기 도관;
배기 도관 내 내연 엔진의 하류에 위치된 제1 삼원 변환 촉매 (TWC-1);
배기 도관 내 TWC-1의 하류에 있는 선택적 촉매성 환원 (SCR) 촉매 및 탄화수소 트랩 (HCT)을 포함하는 SCR-HCT 촉매; 및
배기 도관 내 SCR-HCT 촉매의 하류에 있는, 백금족 금속 (PGM)을 포함하는 제3 촉매
를 포함하는, 탄화수소, 일산화탄소, 및 질소 산화물을 포함하는 내연 엔진의 배기 스트림을 위한 배출물 처리 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, SCR-HCT 촉매가 제1 분자체를 포함하는 SCR 촉매성 물질 및 제1 분자체와 상이한 제2 분자체를 포함하는 HCT 물질을 포함하고, 여기서 SCR 촉매성 물질 및 HCT 물질 둘 다가 일체형 기재 상에 침착된 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 제1 분자체가 Cu-CHA 제올라이트를 포함하고 제2 분자체가 베타 제올라이트를 포함하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, SCR 촉매성 물질 및 HCT 물질이 10:1 내지 1:10의 중량비로 존재하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 일체형 기재가 유동-관통형 기재 또는 벽-유동형 필터인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 제1 분자체가 금속 촉진제를 함유하는 8-원 고리 소세공 제올라이트를 포함하고 제2 분자체가 10-원 고리 중간세공 또는 12-원 고리 대세공 제올라이트를 포함하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 10-원 고리 중간세공 또는 12-원 고리 대세공 제올라이트가 금속 촉진제를 포함하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 8-원 고리 제올라이트가 구리 및 철 중 하나 이상으로 이온-교환되고, CHA, SAPO, 또는 AEI 구조를 갖는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 10-원 또는 12-원 고리 제올라이트가 H+, NH4+, Cu-교환된, 또는 Fe-교환된 형태의 ZSM-5, 베타, 또는 MFI의 구조 유형을 갖는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, HCT 물질 및 SCR 촉매성 물질이 일체형 기재 상에 균질하게 혼합된 층으로서 존재하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, HCT 물질 및 SCR 촉매성 물질이 일체형 기재 상에 층상 구성으로 존재하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, HCT 물질 및 SCR 촉매성 물질이 일체형 기재 상에 구역화된 구성으로 존재하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제3 촉매가 제2 삼원 변환 (TWC-2) 촉매, 산화 촉매 (OC), 및 희박 NOx 트랩 (LNT)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제3 촉매가 외부 소스에 의해 가열되는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.

- 제1항에 있어서,
배기 매니폴드를 통해 내연 엔진과 유체 소통하는 배기 도관;
배기 도관 내 내연 엔진의 하류에 위치된 제1 삼원 변환 촉매 (TWC-1);
배기 도관 내 TWC-1의 하류에 있는 선택적 촉매성 환원 (SCR) 촉매 및 탄화수소 트랩 (HCT)을 포함하는 SCR-HCT 촉매이며, 여기서 SCR 촉매는 제1 분자체를 포함하고 HCT 촉매는 제1 분자체와 상이한 제2 분자체를 포함하는 것인 SCR-HCT 촉매; 및
배기 도관 내 SCR-HCT 촉매의 하류에 있는, 백금족 금속 (PGM) 및 산소 저장 성분을 포함하는 제2 삼원 변환 촉매 (TWC-2)
를 포함하는 배출물 처리 시스템. - 제20항에 있어서, 제1 분자체가 구리 또는 철로 이온-교환된 CHA, SAPO, 또는 AEI 구조를 갖는 8-원 고리 제올라이트를 포함하고, 제2 분자체가 H+, NH4+, Cu-교환된, 또는 Fe-교환된 형태의 ZSM-5, 베타, 또는 MFI 구조를 갖는 10- 또는 12-원 고리 제올라이트를 포함하고, 10- 또는 12-원 고리 제올라이트가 임의로 이온-교환되고, HCT 및 SCR 촉매가 일체형 기재 상에 층상 구성으로 존재하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 제1 분자체가 Cu-CHA 제올라이트를 포함하고, 제2 분자체가 베타 제올라이트를 포함하는 것인 배출물 처리 시스템.
- 탄화수소 (HC), 일산화탄소 (CO), 및 질소 산화물 (NOx)을 포함하는 가스상 스트림을 제1항 내지 제22항 중 어느 한 항의 배출물 처리 시스템과 접촉시키는 것을 포함하는, 배기 가스의 처리 방법.
- 제23항에 있어서,
TWC-1과의 접촉 시에, 탄화수소, 일산화탄소, 및 질소 산화물이 실질적으로 동시에 변환되고 암모니아가 발생되고;
SCR-HCT 촉매와의 접촉 시에, 암모니아가 SCR 촉매 내에 저장되고 파과 NOx의 환원을 위해 사용되고, 탄화수소가 저온 시동 동안에 HCT 내에 트랩핑되고 더 높은 온도에서 방출되고;
제3 촉매와의 접촉 시에, HCT로부터 방출된 탄화수소가 라이트-오프되는 것인
