Abstract

The evacuation line has an ascending tube (10) that has an elbow (14). Nozzles (32) for jetting washing liquid to the inner wall (22) of the elbow are provided at different axial positions in the ascending tube. The nozzles jet the liquid to top area of the inner wall of the elbow, forming washing liquid flow on the inner wall. The washing liquid flows to the bottom of the elbow from the top through both sides of the elbow. An independent claim is also included for the coker comprising of a group of pit kilns and a main collecting pipe.
