Abstract

Se describe un nodo de red (600; 700), un dispositivo de cliente (800; 900) y métodos en el mismo para transmisión y recepción de mensajes difundidos usando patrones de barrido de haces, que están asociados entre sí. Un dispositivo de cliente con información acerca de una asociación entre el primer y segundo patrones de barrido de haces pueden determinar cuándo y dónde monitorear para la recepción de un mensaje de paginación, con base en la recepción de un mensaje piloto. Esto provee una mejora de eficiencia de energía para un UE cuando se monitorea un mensaje difundido que es transmitido en modo de barrido.
