Abstract

The present invention provides an underground system for storing water comprises at least one water tank (16) having at least one opening and a first filtering means (11) on the top surface of the tank for filtering and receiving surface water; at least one water recharging well (30) having an underground opening section (32) closed by a second filtering means and extending to an underground water source; at least one flow pipe (20) connecting the water tank (16) and the water recharging well (30) for transferring stored water from the tank (16) to the well (30), the pipe (20) having a valve for regulating the water flow; and at least one suction pipe (40) connecting a pump for extracting water out from the water recharging well (30) and layer (100,200,300).
