Abstract
Et laserapparat av metalldamptype omfatter et laserrør (1) og et reaktorkammer (6) i hvilket det befinner seg metall (8), som i dette tilfelle er kobber i granulert form. Buffergass og metallhalogenid overføres gjennom en kanal (11) til laserrøret (1) hvor dissosiering av metallhalogenid og påfølgende eksitering av metalldamp utføres for å frembringe laserstråling.
