Abstract
The subject of the application is a medical bandage for dressing the body of humans or animals, containing woven cotton or polyester fibers. This bandage is characterized by the fact that it contains urethane-oligoglycol block copolymer fibers, which constitute from 3% to 15% of the mass of the fabric (1) with a grammage from 150 to 250, with one of the fabric surfaces covered with a polymer anti-adhesive coating (2) . The subject of the application is also a method of producing a bandage. This method consists in: (i) providing a fabric in a roll containing cotton or polyester fibers and elastic urethane-oligoglycol block copolymer fibers, which constitute from 3% to 15% by weight of the fabric (1) with a grammage of 150 to 250; (ii) applying a polymer coating to the upper layer of fabric (1) using the flexographic method and (iii) scanning with a laser beam with a power higher than the ablation threshold of the fabric (1) and thus cutting out strips in the longitudinal direction of the fabric.
