Abstract

Quadricycle whose locomotion is ensured by a set of mechanical members, particularly the transmission system which consists of a drive pinion and ring gear assembly 2- 3, mounted one on either side of the chassis 1, having, on the upper end of the pinion 2, an arm 4 which, when pushed in a rowing-type movement, causes the crown wheel 3 to rotate clockwise, giving rise to the advance of the vehicle through the chain transmission 5 to the rear axle 6. Also according to the invention, the movement of the directional (steering) wheels is ensured by a T-shaped support 7 with two footrests 6 which make it possible to actuate the directional bar 9, turning the wheels of the front axle. A presente invenção refere-se a um quadriciclo de locomoção manual, adaptado de forma a permitir a deslocação do seu utilizador recorrendo este a movimentos físicos idênticos ao de um remador.The present invention relates to a quadricycle for manual locomotion, adapted in such a way as to allow the movement of its user using the same physical movements as that of a rower.

Mais precisamente ela refere-se a um tipo de quadriciclo , constituído por um chassis em tubo de aço (1) de formato rectangular, e dois eixos (6-10), tendo cada um destes duas rodas. Além desta estrutura base, o veículo incorpora ainda um sistema de transmissão composto por um grupo cónico (2-3) de cada lado do chassis com o respectivo braço/remo (4) , assegurando o movimento das rodas traseiras através duma corrente (5). Claims
