Abstract

A device in electrically triggerable striking plates coacting with a member such as is included in a door lock, the striking plate including an electric coil (3) with a moving armature (5), a detent element (7) actuable by the armature, and a pivoting bolt means (2, 9) engaging with said member, this means permitting or preventing the movement of the member away from the striking plate in response to whether the coil is energized or not. An intermediate element (9) coacting with the pivoting bolt and the blocking element takes up forces transferred via the pivoting bolt to the blocking element when said member strives to pivot the pivoting bolt from its position latched by the detent element. The detent element is removably mounted in the striking plate in one of two optional positions such that the striking plate can be optionally triggered when the coil is energized or when it is deenergized.
