Abstract
This antifouling stainless steel member is characterized in that a hydrophobic film is coated on the surface of a stainless steel substrate subjected to emboss processing. The hydrophobic film is formed by coating of a fluorine-based treating agent or a fluorine-based film containing fluorine, and the angle of contact of the film with water is 90 DEG or larger.
