Abstract

This invention provides a light-weight speed change device (10A) having large gear ratio with less stages. The speed change device (10A) is composed by gears arranged in parallel and installed between an input gear (11) of an input shaft (Si) and output gears (12A, 12B) of an output shaft (So), and connected through a plurality of small gear shafts (Sv) circumferentially installed (gears having two ends thereof being provided with different gear teeth (13, 14A to 14B). Gears (14A to 14D) of the plural small gear shafts (Sv) at the output shaft (So) side and the plural output gears (12A, 12B) axially installed on the output shaft (So) are engaged with each other in the circumferential direction.
