Abstract

Power factor corrector comprises a filter, a rectifier, a transistor, a first diode, a first capacitor, the load impedance and a control unit, the first output of which is connected to the gate of the transistor, and the second output - to the cathode of the first diode and the source of the transistor, the drain of which is connected to the positive bus of the rectifier, a filter which is connected to a commercial power supply, and to the rectifier negative bus there is connected the anode of the first diode and the first terminals of the load resistance and the first capacitor. Additionally it is equipped with a second diode, the second capacitor and two-winding choke, the beginning of the first coil is connected to the cathode of the first diode, and its end - the beginning of the second choke coil, the second terminal of the first capacitor and the first terminal of the second capacitor, and the end of the second choke coil is connected to the anode of the second diode which cathode is connected to the second terminals of the load resistance and the second capacitor.
