DESIGN FOR A BATHING-CAP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,196, dated March 5, 1901.
Application led January 28, 1901. Serial No. 45 ,145. Term of patent 14 years.
To @all wtmn it may concern.-
-C Be it known that I, IRWIN FLOYD KEPLER,
a citizen of the United States, residing at Akron, in the county of Summit and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new, useful, and original Design for a Shape or Configuration of Bathing-Gap, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a side View, and Fig. 2 a top View, of a bathing-cap, showing its shape and configuration. Fig is a sectional View taken on the line a: x of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings,the leading or material features of my design consist of a headopening (marked A') and an enlarged pouch, (marked 13,) the said pouch being domical, similarin shape to a Russo-Byzantine cupola,
as shown in Fig. 1, having the series of sectorlike sections c radiating from the center and alternating with a series of radially-extending ribs, grooves, or corrugations d, disposed or arranged as shown in Fig. 2, the said sections c being convex in cross-section and the ribs d being concave, as shown in Fig. 3.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
