Es wird ein Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden, die aus sternförmigen Elementen bestehen, beschrieben, wobei jedes sternförmige Element aus drei mittig miteinander verbundenen Wandteilen (1, 2, 3) besteht und an den Außenkanten jedes Wandteils in Längsrichtung mindestens ein Rohrabschnitt (1', 2', 3', 5', 6') angeordnet ist, wobei die einzelnen sternförmigen Elemente durch eine Verbindungsstange (4) miteinander verbunden sind, die jeweils in den Rohrabschnitten (1', 2', 3', 5', 6') mindestens zweier benachbarter sternförmiger Elemente angeordnet ist.

Description

BESCHREIBUNG
Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden
TECHNISCHES GEBIET
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden.
STAND DER TECHNIK
Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden sind bekannt. In der DE-PS 26 41 114 wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kunststoff- Elektrofilters in YJabenform durch Zusammenfügen von im Querschnitt spundwandförmigen, aus glasfaserverstärktem Polyester bestehenden, warmgepreßten Plattenstreifen beschrieben, wobei die einzelnen Plattenstreifen jeweils mit Flanschen versehen werden, die über die gesamte Länge des Wabenbündels miteinander verbunden werden. Die Plattentreifen werden entweder miteinander verklebt oder, sofern sie aus einem Thermoplastmaterial bestehen, durch Schweißen miteinander verbunden. In der US-PS 4,441,897 wird ein elektrostatischer Abscheider beschrieben, bei dem die Niederschlagselektroden ebenfalls in Form eines wabenförmigen Gitters angeordnet sind. Auch bei diesem elektrostatischen Abscheider ist jede einzelne Niederschlagselektrode über die gesamte Länge des Wabenbündels mit der jeweils benachbarten Niederschlagselektrode verbunden.
DARSTELLUNG DER ERFINDUNG
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden zu schaffen, bei dem die einzelnen Bauteile auf einfache Weise miteinander verbunden werden, so daß die Anzahl der wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden relativ schnell und einfach schwankenden Abgasmengen oder Schadstoffkonzentrationen angepaßt werden kann.
Die der Erfindung zugrundeliegende Aufgabe wird durch einen Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden, die aus sternförmigen Elementen bestehen, gelöst, wobei jedes sternförmige Element aus drei mittig miteinander verbundenen Wandteilen besteht, die jeweils im Winkel von 120° zueinander angeordnet sind, wobei an den Außenkanten jedes Wandteils in Längsrichtung mindestens ein Rohrabschnitt angeordnet ist, wobei die Rohrabschnitte zweier benachbarter, sternförmiger Elemente jeweils übereinander angeordnet sind und die einzelnen sternförmigen Elemente durch eine Verbindungsstange miteinander verbunden sind, die jeweils in den Rohrabschnitten mindestens zweier benachbarter sternförmiger Elemente angeordnet ist. Unter dem Begriff "Rohrabschnitt" ist ein Stück eines Rohres zu verstehen, das der Verbindungsstange eine ausreichende Führung gibt und das eine Länge von 5 bis 50 cm hat. Die sternförmigen Elemente werden aus elektrisch leitenden Materialien wie beispielsweise Stahl oder Blei gefertigt. Die einzelnen Rohrabschnitte werden beispielsweise durch Schweißen oder Kleben mit den jeweiligen Außenkanten jedes Wandteils verbunden. Es hat sich in überraschender Weise gezeigt, daß durch den erfindungsgemäßen Elektroabscheider eine Anpassung an schwankende Abgasmengen relativ einfach erfolgen kann, wobei die vorhandene Abscheidefläche der Niederschlagselektroden vollständig ausgenutzt werden kann, da jeweils beide Flächen der drei mittig miteinander verbundenen Wandteile eines sternförmigen Elements als Abscheidefläche verwendet werden können. Wenn beispielsweise eine Vergrößerung der Abgasmenge zu erwarten ist, kann das vorhandene Gitter der wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden auf einfache Weise relativ schnell vergrößert werden, indem weitere sternförmige Elemente in entsprechender Weise angeordnet werden.
Eine bevorzugte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung besteht darin, daß die sternförmigen Elemente aus einem elektrisch leitenden Kunststoff bestehen. Dabei ist vorteilhaft, daß die sternförmigen Elemente mit den an den Außenkanten jedes Wandteils in Längsrichtung angeordneten Rohrabschnitten als Einzelteile hergestellt werden können, wobei Fügeverfahren wie Schweißen oder Kleben zur Verbindung der Rohrabschnitte mit dem jeweiligen Wandteil nicht mehr erforderlich sind.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung (Figuren 1 bis 4) näher und beispielhaft erläutert.
Figur 1 zeigt die Draufsicht auf ein sternförmiges Element, das aus drei mittig miteinander verbundenen Wandteilen besteht. Fig. 2 zeigt den Querschnitt der wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden, die aus den sternförmigen Elementen bestehen.
Fig. 3 zeigt die Draufsicht auf eine Verbindungsstelle, an welcher drei sternförmige Elemente gemäß "A" in Fig. 2 miteinander verbunden sind.
Fig. 4 zeigt die Seitenansicht einer Verbindungsstelle, an welcher drei sternförmige Elemente miteinander verbunden sind, nach Schnitt B-B in Fig. 3.
In Fig. 1 ist die Draufsicht auf ein sternförmiges Element, das aus drei mittig miteinander verbundenen Wandteilen (1, 2, 3) gebildet wird, dargestellt, wobei der Winkel zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Wandteilen (1 und 2, 2 und 3, 3 und 1) 120° beträgt. An den Längskanten jedes Wandteils (1, 2, 3) ist in Längsrichtung mindestens ein Rohrabschnitt (l1 , 2 ~ , 3') angeordnet.
In Fig. 2 ist der Querschnitt durch die wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden mit den Verbindungsstangen (4) in vereinfachter Weise schematisch dargestellt. Die einzelnen sternförmigen Elemente sind mit den VerbindungsStangen (4) miteinander verbunden, wobei die einzelnen Verbindungsstangen (4) jeweils in den Rohrabschnitten mindestens zweier benachbarter sternförmiger Elemente angeordnet sind.
In Fig. 3 ist die Verbindungsstelle, an welcher drei sternförmige Elemente über eine Verbindungsstange (4) miteinander verbunden sind, gemäß "A" in Fig. 2 vergrößert dargestellt, wobei der Winkel zwischen zwei benachbarten Wandteilen (2, 5, 6) jeweils 120° beträgt. Die Außenkante des einen Wandteils (2) ist über eine Schweißverbindung (2") mit dem Rohrabschnitt (21) verbunden, in welchem die VerbindungsStange (4) angeordnet ist. Der Rohrabschnitt (2' ) ist über den in Fig. 3 nicht dargestellten Rohrabschnitten (5', 6')/ die jeweils mit den benachbarten Wandteilen (5, 6) durch jeweils eine Schweißverbindung (5", 6") verbunden sind, angeordnet. Der Rohrabschnitt (21) hat einen Außendurchmesser (a) von 10 bis 40 mm und einen Innendurchmesser (b) von 5 bis 35 mm. Der Durchmesser (c) der Verbindungsstange (4) beträgt 5 bis 30 mm.
In Fig.. 4 ist die Seitenansicht der Verbindungsstelle gemäß Schnitt B-B in Fig. 3 dargestellt, wobei die beiden Wandteile (2, 5) in die Zeichnungsebene gedreht dargestellt worden sind. Die Rohrabschnitte (2'-, 5', 6') sind übereinander angeordnet und über eine Schweißverbindung (2", 5") mit der jeweiligen Außenkante verbunden.
Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung ist jedoch nicht auf die in den Figuren 1 bis 4 dargestellten Ausführungsformen beschränkt.

Claims

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Elektroabscheider mit wabenförmig angeordneten Niederschlagselektroden, die aus sternförmigen Elementen bestehen, wobei jedes sternförmige Element aus drei mittig miteinander verbundenen Wandteilen (1, 2, 3) besteht, die jeweils im Winkel von 120° zueinander angeordnet sind, wobei an den Außenkanten jedes Wandteils in Längsrichtung mindestens ein Rohrabschnitt (!', 21, 3', 5', 6') angeordnet ist, wobei die Stücke Rohrabschnitte (2' , 5' , 6' ) zweier benachbarter sternförmiger Elemente jeweils übereinander angeordnet sind und die einzelnen sternförmigen Elemente durch eine VerbindungsStange (4) miteinander verbunden sind, die jeweils in den Rohrabschnitten (1' , 2', 3', 5', 6') mindestens zweier benachbarter sternförmiger Elemente angeordnet ist.
2. Elektroabscheider nach Anspruch 1, bei dem die sternförmigen Elemente aus einem elektrisch leitenden Kunststoff bestehen.
