Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Papier, insbes. Papierblatt, vorzugsweise Wertpapier, z.B. Banknote, Scheck od.dgl., wobei das Papier (1) mindestens ein das Papier durchsetzendes Fenster (2) aufweist, das von einer durchsichtigen Folie (3), z.B. einer Kunststoffolie oder einem transparenten Papier, überbrückt ist.

Description

Papier, insbesondere Wertpapier
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Papier, insbes. Papierblatt, vorzugsweise
Wertpapier, z.B. Banknote, Scheck od.dgl.
Sicherheitsdokumente können als Sicherheitselement einen Faden oder ein Band aufweisen, das im Dokument eingebettet ist (DE-OS 39 06 695). Das Sicherhei. '- sment kann dtoei aus einer lichtdurchlässigen Kunststoffolie bestehen, die eine sich über das Element erstreckende opake Beschichtung mit Aussparungen in Form von einzubringenden Zeichen und Muster aufweist. Außerdem enthält das Sicherheitselement in zu den Aussparungen deckungsgleichen Bereichen farbgebende und/oder lumineszierende Substanzen, durch die sich die Zeichen und/oder Muster unter geeigneten Lichtbedingungen vom Sicherheitsdokument und von der opaken Beschichtung in farblich kontrastierender Form unterscheiden. Dadurch wird erreicht, daß die Zeichen, Muster od.dgl. im Durchlicht sichtbar sind und visuell und/oder maschinell gelesen werden können.
Auf dem Wertpapiersektor entstehen weiters auch Probleme dadurch, daß sich Farbkopiergeräte von immer besser werdender Qualität und Ausstattung verbreiten, die Kopien liefern, die insbesondere bei flüchtiger Betrachtung, wie sie im Geschäftsleben üblich ist, sich vom Original kaum unterscheiden lassen. Es werden daher vermehrt Anstrengungen unternommen, Verfahren zu entwickeln, die ein Kopieren von Wertpapieren unmöglich machen oder zumindest Kopien liefern, die sich in auffälliger Weise vom Original unterscheiden. So wurde schon vorgeschlagen (DE-OS 33 14 670), auf zumindest einen Teil der Oberfläche eines vertraulichen Dokumentes ein Material aufzutragen, das beim Belichten mit Illuminationslicht befähigt ist, Licht mit einer Wellenlänge zu emittieren, die verschieden ist von der Wellenlänge des Illuminationslichts. Setzt man ein solcherart präpariertes Dokument dem Illuminationslicht eines Kopierers aus und fängt das Emissionslicht mit einem Detektor auf, so kann dieser Signale erzeugen, die verwertbar sind, um mindestens einen der Schritte, die zur Vervielfältigung des Originaldokumentes im Kopierer erforderlich sind, zu unterbrechen oder aufzuheben. Das Präparieren des Dokumentes kann hiebei schwierig werden, auch kann sich das aufgetragene Material verändern oder abblättern, womit die Sicherheitsfunktion nicht mehr erfüllbar ist. Die Erfindung zeigt einen Weg, diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden. Es wird vorgeschlagen, das Papier mit mindestens einem Fenster zu versehen, welches das Papier(blatt) durchsetzt und von einer durchsichtigen Folie, z.B. einer Kunststoffolie oder einem transparenten Papier überbrückt ist. Bei Versuchen, ein derart ausgestaltetes Papier zu kopieren, entsteht an der Stelle, an der sich das Fenster befindet, ein Klecks, der bei Farbkopierern entsprechend färbig ist bzw. bei einem Schwarzweißkopierer dunkel wird, so daß das Papier sofort leicht als Kopie erkannt werden kann. Die (Umriß-)Form des Fensters kann beliebig sein, z.B. rund, oval, polygonal usw. Die Fensterform kann jedoch auch ein Symbol für eine Papiereigenschaft, z.B. den Wert des Papieres, sein. Bevorzugt durchsetzt die Folie bzw. das transparente Papier das Fenster und ist außerhalb des Fensterumrisses im Papier(blatt) eingebettet. Die durchsichtige Folie bzw. das transparente Papier kann auch das Fenster ausfüllen, so daß die Oberfläche eben, d.h. auch an der Fensterkontur frei von einer Stufe ist.
Eine weitere Ausgestaltung des erfindungsgemäßen Papieres zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die durchsichtige Folie bzw. das transparente Papier an der Ober- und/oder Unterseite des Papieres, das Fenster überspannend, befestigt ist.
Das Papier (Wertpapier) kann auch als Sandwich, bestehend aus einer normalen Papierschicht mit ausgespartem Fenster und einer zweiten, von einer Folie oder einem transparenten Papier gebildeten Schicht, aufgebaut sein. Die das Fenster überbrückende Folie bzw. das das Fenster überbrückende Papier kann im Fensterbereich mit einem bevorzugt maschinenlesbaren Aufdruck bzw. mit einem applizierten, zusätzlichen Sicherheitsmerkmal versehen sein.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen, Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine erste Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäßen Papieres,
Fig. 2a einen Schnitt entlang der Linie II-II in Fig. 1,
Fig. 2b die Möglichkeit einer Streifeneinbettung bzw. eines Sandwichaufbaues des Wertpapieres,
Fig. 3 einen der Fig. 2 entsprechenden Schnitt, jedoch durch eine gegenüber der Ausführungsform der Figuren 1 und 2 abgeänderte Ausführungsform,
Fig. 4, ebenfalls einen Schnitt entsprechend der Fig. 1, jedoch eine ebenfalls gegenüber der Ausführungsform der Fig. 1 und 2 abgeänderte Ausführungsform, und Fig. 5 einen Aufbau aus einer normalen Papierschicht in Verbindung mit einer zweiten transparenten oder durchsichtigen Folien- oder Papierschicht.
In der Zeichnung ist mit 1 ein Papierblatt bezeichnet, das im dargestellten
Ausführungsbeispiel mit einem Fenster ovaler Form versehen ist, welches das Papier durchsetzt. Das Fenster 2 ist von einer durchsichtigen Folie 3 abgedeckt. Bevorzugt besteht diese Folie aus Kunststoff. Außerhalb des Fensters 2 ist die Folie 3 aus
Kunststoff bzw. einer Schicht aus transparentem Papier im Papier 1 eingebettet.
Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 3 füllt die durchsichtige Folie 3 das Papier 1 (Wertpapier) aus, sodaß im Bereich des Umrisses des Fensters 2 keine Stufe besteht, sondern das Papier über seiner gesamten Oberfläche plan bleibt. Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 4 ist das Fenster 2 sowohl an der
Oberfläche als auch an der unteren Seite des Papieres 1 durch die Folie 3 bzw. ein transparentes Papier abgedeckt, die bzw. das mit dem Papier 1, z.B. durch Klebung, fest verbunden ist. Die Folie 3 bzw. das transparente Papier kann sich dabei auch über die gesamte Oberfläche des Papieres, d.h. bis zu den Papierrändern, erstrecken. Es ist auch möglich, das Fenster nur an einer Seite des Papieres durch eine Folie 3 bzw. eine Schicht aus transparentem Papier abzudecken. Diese Folie bzw. Schicht aus transparentem Papier befindet sich dann entweder an der Ober- oder an der Unterseite des Papieres (Fig. 5).

Claims

Patentansprüche:
1. Papier, insbes. Papierblatt, vorzugsweise Wertpapier, z.B. Banknote, Scheck od.dgl., dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Papier (1) mindestens ein das Papier durchsetzendes Fenster (2) aufweist, das von einer durchsichtigen Folie (3), z.B. einer Kunststoffolie oder einem transparenten Papier, überbrückt ist.
2. Papier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Folie (3) bzw. das transparente Papier das Fenster (2) durchsetzt und außerhalb des Fensters (2) im
Papier (1) eingebettet ist (Fig. 1, 2).
3. Papier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die durchsichtige Folie (3) bzw. das transparente Papier das Fenster (2) ausfüllt (Fig. 3).
4. Papier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die durchsichtige Folie (3) bzw. das transparente Papier an der Ober- und/oder Unterseite des Papieres
(1), das Fenster (2) überspannend, befestigt ist (Fig. 4).
5. Papier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als Sandwich aus einer normalen Papierschicht mit ausgespartem Fenster und einer zweiten, aus Folie oder transparentem Papier bestehenden Schicht aufgebaut ist.
6. Papier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die das Fenster (2) überbrückende Folie (3) bzw. das transparente Papier einen bevorzugt maschinenlesbaren Aufdruck oder appliziertes zusätzliches Sicherheitsmerkmal im Bereich des Fensters (2) aufweist.
