Abstract

The device according to the present invention consists of a stripe of resistant tissue (1), provided with two normal end shapes (2, 3) of the same constitution, that may be folded and fixed for comprising the structure of the coupled skis, of an opposite handle (6) fixed on said stripe (1) for the manual support and of accessory means (7, 11, 12, 13) for the shoulder-belts and for the contemporary transport also of the rackets (R) and/or of further pairs of skis.

Description

DEVICE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL TRANSPORT OF SKIS AND SKI-STICKS

The present invention concerns a device for the individual transport of skis, rackets and similar, comprising a plurality of soft tissue structures connected and shaped so as to be placed and blocked around the skis and provided with handles and/or applicable shoulder-belts, for the minimum encumbrance.

It is known that the only existing device for the individual transport of skis, rackets and of the other accessories for this sport to the lifts of mountain sport centres, consists of a bag of considerable dimensions and that is so cumbersome that the skier can not carry it along in his descents.

Those features lead the skier to try to approach as much as possible to the lifts with their cars, with the consequent problems of traffic and especially of air pollution in the mountains.

It is the aim of the present invention to completely solve above mentioned inconvenience by means of a device according to the present invention that will allow the individual transport of skis, rackets and similar, consisting of means that may be folded to a minimum encumbrance, so as to be placed into a pockets or similar provided in the skiwearing of the skiers during their descents.

The aim set forth is reached by means of the device according to the present invention, consisting of a stripe of resistant tissue, provided with two normal end shapes of the same constitution, that may be folded and fixed for comprising the structure of the coupled skis, of an opposite handle fixed on said stripe for the manual support and of accessory means for the shoulder-belts and for the contemporary transport also of the rackets and/or of further pairs of skis.

The advantages of the device according to the present invention are considerable and evident:

- a complete functionality: once the device has been applied to a pair of skis, with or without rackets and other accessories, the whole will be transported like a bag or a suitcase or a shoulter-bag;

- quick use: the time for mounting and disassembling of the device according to the present invention is minimal, as it is necessary to operate only on a few closing means; - the possibility of collecting and housing in a pocket with a minumum encumbrance, even during the descents, the disassembled device, following to the folding of the composing structures of soft material.

The device according to the present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow, according to the enclosed drawings in which some prefered embodiments are shown.

Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of the base structure of the device according to the present invention before mounting.

Figure 2 shows the variant of the device according to the present invention provided with the means for the contemporary transport of the skis and of the rackets.

Figure 3 shows a variant of the device according to the present invention provided with means for the baldric-wise transport.

Figures 4 and 5 show a scheme of the use of the device according to the present invention, mounted for the manual and baldric-wise transport. Figure 6 shows a scheme of the housing with minimum encumbrance in dif ferent pockets Tl and T2 of a skiwearing TS , of the folded device according to the present invention.

The enclosed figures show a device for the individual transport of skis, rackets and similar, consisting of :

- a strip 1 of soft material , like eventually reinforced tissue, plastic materials or leathers , which e. g. may be 45 cm to 65 cm long;

- two stripes 2 and 3 , placed perpendicular to the ends of said stripe 1 , linked in a non central point A so as to allow, during folding, the wrapping up around the structures of the coupled skis S;

- blocking means 4 and 5 , placed at the ends of said stripes 2 and 3;

- a handle 6 , in the shape of a stripe of soft material, placed - linked by realization in a non central point P of said stripe 1 - so as to determine an approximately barycentric support of the transported skis;

- an accessory stripe 7 that may be hooked by means of element 8 transversally to said stripe 1 , below said handle 6 , and that may be closed with the end element 15 provided with tongue 9 that may be outwardly wound and closing means 10 , for comprising and fixing the structure of rackets R, coupled to skis S;

- a ring 11 placed in the connection point between the transversal stripe 2 and the stripe 1, and a second ring 12 placed between the handle 6 and the connection end of the transversal stripe 3, for the balanced hooking of the shoulder-belt 13;

- a shoulder-belt 13, having an exemplifying length of about 200 cm, for the shoulder transport of the skis and the accessories, with means 14 for connecting rings 11 and 12.

In-a possible functional variant, the device according to the present invention provides the presence of two hooks or similar, opposite, on said stripe 1, to said rings 11 and 12, for performing the hooking and the suspension transport also of the ski boots.

The functioning of the invention may be described as follows:

- with the point of the skis S upwardly turned, the stripe 1 is placed lengthwise and the stripes 2 and

3 are laced up around said skis by means of elements

4 and 5, respectively before the linking of the point of the boots and behind the linking of the heels of the boots, completing the mounting for the hand transport; - for transporting also rackets R, together with skis S, the accessory stripe 7 will be hooked to stripe 1 in point 8 and said stripe is closed by means 15 around the skis S; the rackets R are inserted under the tongues 9 and are closed and blocked by means 10, parallel to skis S;

- in a variant the shoulder-belt 13 may be applied;

- once the device is disassembled, it may be folded and placed inside a pocket.

Claims

1. A device for the individual transport of skis, rackets and similar, comprising a plurality of structures of soft tissues connected and shaped for being placed and blocked around the skis and provided with handles and/or applicable shoulder-belts, for the support with minimum encumbrance, characterized in: - a strip (1) of soft material, like eventually reinforced tissue, plastic materials or leathers, which e.g. may be 45 cm to 65 cm long;

- two stripes (2 and 3), placed perpendicular to the ends of said stripe (1) , linked in a non central point (A) so as to allow, during folding, the wrapping up around the structures of the coupled skis (S);

- blocking means (4 and 5), placed at the ends of said stripes (2 and 3);

- a handle (6), in the shape of a stripe of soft material, placed - linked by realization in a non central point (P) of said stripe (1) - so as to determine an approximately barycentric support of the transported skis;

- an accessory stripe (7) that may be hooked by means of element (8) transversally to said stripe (1), below said handle (6), and that may be closed with the end element (15) provided with tongues (9) that may be outwardly wound and closing means (10), for comprising and fixing the structure of rackets (R), coupled to skis (S);

- a ring (11) placed in the connection point between the transversal stripe (2) and the stripe (1), and a second ring (12) placed between the handle (6) and the connection end of the transversal stripe (3), for the balanced hooking of the shoulder-belt (13);

- a shoulder-belt (13), having an exemplifying length of about 200 cm, for the shoulder transport of the skis and the accessories, with means (14) for connecting rings (11 and 12).

2. A device according to claim 1, characterized in the presence of two hooks or similar, opposed, on said stripe (1), to said rings (11 and 12), for providing for the hooking and the suspension transport also of the ski boots.

3. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that it consists in a plurality of stripes of soft material that may be fold up so as to be housed in a pocket or similar also during the descents on the skis.
