Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Ermittlung der Hirndurchblutung und des intracraniellen Blutvolumens beschrieben. Nach Injektion einer vorgegebenen Menge eines Doppelindikators in den Blutkreislauf werden arterielle und venöse Messungen der im Blutkreislauf resultierenden Indikatorverdünnungskurven durchgeführt. Als Doppelindikator dient eine in ihrer Temperatur von der Körpertemperatur abweichende Farbstofflösung, bei der Wärme oder Kälte eine hochdiffusible Indikatorkomponente und Farbstoff, vorzugsweise Indocyaningrün (ICG), eine intravasale Indikatorkomponente bilden. Die Hirndurchblutung (CBF) wird aus dem Quotienten aus einem Verteilungskoeffizienten μtherm der hochdiffusiblen Indikatorkomponente (Therm) zwischen Blut und dem Gehirngewebe und der mittleren Transitzeit mtttherm der hochdiffusiblen Indikatorkomponente (Therm) durch das Gehirn berechnet. Das intracranielle Blutvolumen (ICBV) wird aus dem Produkt aus Hirndurchblutung (CBF) und der mittleren Transitzeit mttICG der intravasalen Indikatorkomponente (ICG) berechnet.
