Abstract

Verfahren zur Beschichtung von Metallbändern, vorzugsweise aus Stahl oder Aluminium durch Aufbringen von Pulverlack, Reinigen, und Einbrennen, wobei 1) der Pulverlack mindestens ein Polyhydroxy-funktionelles Harz oder mindestens ein Expoxidharz enthält; und 2) der Pulverlack eine derartige Korngrößenverteilung aufweist, daß a) mindestens 90 Massenprozent der Pulverlackteilchen eine Teilchengröße zwischen 1 und 150, vorzugsweise 1 und 100 νm aufweisen; b) die maximale Teilchengröße der Pulverlackteilchen für mindestens 99 Massenprozent der Teilchen ≤ 150 νm beträgt; c) die mittlere Teilchengröße der Pulverlackteilchen zwischen > 5 und 60 νm, vorzugsweise 5 und 40 νm liegt; und d) die Steilheit der Kornverteilungskurve am Wendepunkt ≥ 50, vorzugsweise ≥ 100 ist.
