Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Versandverpackung mit einem scheibenförmigen, opto-elektronischen Informationsträger, wie eine Compactdisc (CD), eine Videodisc (LCD), eine Mikrocompactdisc (MCD), eine Digital-Versatile-Disc (DVD), wobei der Informationsträger eine Abspielfläche für opto-elektronisch abspielbare und vorzugsweise digital aufgezeichnete Informationen sowie eine Lesefläche mit unmittelbaren lesbaren Informationen aufweist sowie ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zur Herstellung der Versandverpackung. Mit der Erfindung soll erreicht werden, daß der Aufwand an Verpackung, Adressierung usw. für einzeln zu versendende Informationsträger verringert wird. Dies geschieht dadurch, daß die Lesefläche eine freie Fläche für eine vor dem Versand aufzubringende Personalisierung aufweist und daß die Abspielfläche durch eine Schutzschicht der Versandverpackung abgedeckt ist.
