Abstract

Beschrieben wird eine Steckverbindung für Lichtleitfasern, mit einer Buchse (2, 3), in der die zu verbindende Lichtleitfaser (1, 1a) gehalten ist, und einem Stecker, der die Lichtleitfaser in einem Zentrierelement aufnimmt, in das die Lichtleitfaser beim Verbinden von Buchse und Stecker eingeschoben wird. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Stecker als Zentrierelement (15) wenigstens drei Schlingfedern aufweist, die im entriegelten Zustand im wesentlichen gestreckt sind, und die sich durch die Verriegelungs-Drehbewegung um die Faser (1) legen und diese damit zentrieren.
