Abstract

Zur Verbesserung der Darstellung von Gelände auf einem Primary-Flight-Display und einem Navigationsdisplay ist vorgesehen, daß das Gelände mindestens teilweise in Form eines Schichtenmodells des Geländes dargestellt wird und/oder daß die Darstellung zumindestens der unteren Teile des Geländes in einer weniger auffälligen Farbe, insbesondere Grau, erfolgt. Es werden ebenfalls Maßnahmen vorgeschlagen, die zu einer sicheren Erkennung von Erhebungen im Navigationsdisplay führen und die beim Flug in großen Höhen eine ausreichend tiefe Darstellung des Geländes vor dem Flugzeug bewirken.
