Abstract

The invention refers to a control device for adjusting an actuator (3), wherein the device comprises means (26) of monitoring the actual value of the actuator and means for correction of this to a desired value. A characteristic feature of the invention is that a control valve (18) is regulated by pulse modulation or three-point control for controlling a driving medium, which is used for adjusting the actuator (3). The control device comprises an alarm, which after a time delay is activated when a difference between actual and desired value has not been corrected and a reserve unit, comprising a battery, which during interruption of operating voltage, driving fluid or control signals transmit a control pulse to the control valve (18) for adjusting the actuator (3) to a predetermined position, opened or closed.
