Abstract

Um die Leistung eines Druckwasser-Reaktors auch nach längeren Zeiten des Teillastbetriebes rasch hochfahren zu können, ist ein Brennelement vorgesehen, das auf eine hohe Kühlung ausgelegt ist und mindestens zweischichtige Hüllrohre (20) enthält. Eine dicke Matrix (21) aus einer speziellen ZrSnFe-Legierung oder ZrNb-Legierung ist an der Innenseite des Hüllrohrs (20) metallurgisch mit einer Schutzschicht (22) aus einer schwächer legierten ZrFe-Legierung verbunden. Die Sekundärausscheidungen in der Schutzschicht besitzen eine geringe mittlere Teilchengröße, die einer normalisierten Glühdauer A von ca. 1 . 10-18 h entsprechen, während die ZrSnFe-Legierung einen wesentlich größeren A-Wert bzw. die ZrNb-Legierung einen wesentlich kleineren A-Wert besitzt.
