Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement améliorée permettant d'effectuer une stimulation à plusieurs vitesses de différentes électrodes faisant partie d'un implant cochléaire à électrodes multiples. Cette méthode consiste notamment à traiter un signal entrant par l'intermédiaire d'un ensemble filtre (35), chaque voie étant traitée de manière à calculer l'amplitude (37) et à estimer la périodicité de ce signal sur cette voie (39). Cette méthode consiste enfin à utiliser ces informations concernant l'amplitude et la périodicité pour savoir quelle électrode est stimulée, et pour connaître la fréquence de cette stimulation.
