しかし、 該ピス トン及びそれを挟む両油圧室は、 通常、 該ピス トンに連結され る可動斜板を具備する油圧ポンプまたは油圧モータの側方にて、 上下方向に配列 されており、 該電磁弁も、 該ピス トン及び該両油圧室を内包するハウジング部分 の上方または下方に配設していたので、 装置全体が大型化していた。 更に、 前述 のようなスプールを通さずに、 該ピストンを挟む両油圧室に対して直接圧油を供 給して該ピス トンを油圧駆動するには、 かなりの油圧を必要とし、 それに対応す る専用の大容量の電磁弁を装着していたので、 高コストとなっていた。
発明の開示
本発明は、 油圧式無段変速装置の本体ハウジング内に斜板角度を制御する油圧 サーボ機構が内設され、 該油圧サーボ機構を操作するための手動操作部材が該本 体ハウジングの外部に配設されている構造において、 該手動操作部材と該本体ハ ゥジングとの間にケ一シングを配設し、 該ケ一シング内に、 可動斜板の中立位置 を保持するための中立位置保持機構、 及び、 該可動斜板の最大回動角を規制する 回動制限機構を内装している。 更には、 該ケーシング内から該本体ハウジング内 にかけて、 該手動操作部材のオーバーストロークを吸収するオーバース卜ローク 吸収機構を内装している。
これにより、 該中立位置保持機構、 該回動制限機構、 該オーバーストローク吸 収機構の各機構における各構成部材がケ一シングまたは本体ノヽゥジングにて保護 されて、 泥やごみ等の異物が付着することがなく、 動作不良が発生したり、 外部 からの衝撃により各調節が狂ったりすることを防止することができる。 また、 各 機構を小型に構成することができるとともに、 コスト低減を図ることが可能とな る
また、 前記構成において、 前記油圧サーボ機構は、 油圧バルブとしてのスプー ルを備えており、 前記ケーシング内から前記本体ハウジング内にかけて、 前記手 動操作部材の操作によって移動するスプール作動部材が該スプールと略一体状に 移動可能に配設されている。
そして、 本発明における中立位置保持機構の第一の構成として、 前記ケーシン グ内にて、 前記スプール作動部材と略同一幅の位置決め部材を配設しており、 該 位置決め部材と該スプール作動部材の両方を、 互いに対向する方向の付勢力を受 ける一対の押圧部材により両側から挟み込むことにより、 該スプール作動部材を 可動斜板の中立位置に対応する位置に保持するものとしている。 こうして、 簡単 かつ小型で、 中立位置調節についても、 該位置決め部材の位置調節で可能とした 中立位置保持機構を提供できる。
前記の中立位置保持機構の第一の構成において、 前記押圧部材は、 パネの付勢 力を受けて、 前記位置決め部材に対して進退自在なパネ受けとすることで、 バネ の付勢力を止め輪等の付加部材により受けることが必要でなくなり、 止め輪が外 れる等の心配がなくなって耐久性を向上させることができる。 また、 中立位置保 持の精度を向上させることが可能となる。
この押圧部材は、 パネの付勢力を受けて、 前記位置決め部材に対して進退自在 なパネ受けとすることが考えられる。
また、 前記中立位置保持機構の構成部材として、 前記位置決め部材を具備する ロッ ドを設け、 該ロッ ドの軸芯方向に沿って前記押圧部材を移動可能に配設し、 該押圧部材が付勢力に杭して前記位置決め部材より遠ざかる方向に移動するのを 規制すべく、 該押圧部材に押当可能な段差部を該ロッ ドに形成して、 前記回動制 限機構としている。 これにより、 可動斜板の中立位置からの最大回動角を精度良 く正確に設定することができるとともに、 耐久性を向上して長期間高精度を保つ ことが可能となる。 また、 該段差部の位置精度は該ロッ ドを加工する際の機械的 な加工精度により決定されるので、 該ロッ ドをケ一シングに組み中立位置調整し た後は回動制限機構の調整を行う必要がなくなり、 例えば、 出荷時における調整 工程を省く ことが可能となる。
また、 前記中立位置保持機構において、 前記ロッ ドは、 通常において位置固定 されており、 前記の両側からの付勢力にて両押圧部材に挟持される時の前記位置 決め部材の位置を調節する時に、 該ケ一シングの外部からの操作で、 該ロッ ドを 軸芯方向に移動可能としている。 従って、 中立位置保持機構を分解したりするこ となく、 該ロッ ドを操作するだけで中立位置調整を行うことが可能となり、 中立 位置調整作業を容易にすることができる。
前記ケーシング内には流体を充塡し、 前記各パネ受けに、 前記各パネの配設さ れる空間と前記位置決め部材の配設される空間との間を流体連通するオリフィ ス を形成してもよい。 該オリフィ スにより、 手動操作部材の操作時にダンパー作用 を得ることが可能となる。 即ち、 手動操作部材を緩やかに操作した場合は該手動 操作部材を小さな力で回動することが可能となって、 可動斜板の斜板角を操作す ることができる。 また、 手動操作部材を急激に操作した場合は、 該手動操作部材 を回動するためには非常に大きな力が必要となって可動斜板の斜板角を操作する ことが困難となるため、 手動操作部材の急操作によるショックの発生を抑えるこ とが可能となる。
また、 前記中立位置保持機構をカートリ ッジとして一体的に構成して、 前記ケ 一シングに着脱可能に内装するものとしてもよい。 中立位置保持機構の中立位置 調整や、 メ ンテナンスを容易に行うことが可能となる。 さらに、 該中立位置保持 機構を小型に構成することができるとともに、 コス卜低減を図ることが可能とな また、 本発明の中立位置保持機構の第二の構成として、 前記ケーシング内に圧 油が充塡されているとともに、 該ケーシングに電磁比例弁を付設し、 該電磁比例 弁の前記中立位置保持機構に対する圧油供給制御により、 前記スプール作動部材 を移動制御するよう構成する。 即ち、 自動制御を可能とする斜板角度制御用の油 圧サーボ機構として、 中立位置保持機構の油圧制御を利用するものであり、 これ により、 手動操作に加えて、 より精度の高い制御を実現できる電子制御機能を備 えた油圧サーボ機構をコンパク トにまとめあげることができ、 また、 自動式斜板 制御機構としての油圧制御弁は、 従来のように該油圧サーボ機構のスプールを直 接駆動するのではなく、 中立位置保持機構を介してのスプール作動部材の油圧制 御に必要な容量ですむので、 市販クラスの電磁比例弁を使用でき、 コス ト削減に も繫がる。 なお、 何らかの トラブルで手動操作機構あるいは、 電子制御機能が故 障したとしても、 他のもう一方の操作で対処することができる。
また、 このように、 電磁比例弁で制御されることでスプール作動部材を移動さ せる第二の構成の中立位置保持機構の第一例としては、 スプール作動部材と嵌合 するビストンと、 該ピストンの両側に配設される一対の付勢部材とを前記ケーシ ング内に配設してなつていて、 該一対の付勢部材による両側からの付勢にて該ピ ス トンを保持することにより、 該スプール作動部材を可動斜板の中立位置に対応 する位置に保持する構成としており、 前記電磁比例弁は一対設けられていて、 そ の各々は、 該ピス卜ンの両側の油圧室の各々に対しての圧油供給制御を行うもの としている。
また、 電磁比例弁で制御されることでスプール作動部材を移動させる前記第二 の構成の中立位置保持機構の第二例としては、 前記スプール作動部材と嵌合する ピス トンと、 該ピス トンの一側に配設される付勢部材とを、 前記ケーシング内に 配設してなつており、 該ピス トンの他側に油圧室を形成して、 該油圧室に対し一 個の前記電磁比例弁により圧油供給制御がなされるものとしており、 一側の該付 勢部材の付勢力と該他側の圧油の油圧との約合いにて該ピストンを保持すること により、 該スプール作動部材を可動斜板の中立位置に対応する位置に保持する構 成としている。
また、 前記ピス トンを回り止めし、 該ピス トンがその軸芯方向に沿ってのみ移 動するように案内する案内手段を設けてもよい。 これにより該ピストンからピン にモ一メ ントを加えないため、 ピンにおける外周部分の他の部材と接する部分で の摩擦を軽減することができ、 ピンを滑らかに摺動させることができる。
また、 前記ピス トンに、 前記スプール作動部材を一体的に設けてもよい。 これ により、 ビストンとピンとの間の嵌合する部分で生ずる摺動方向のずれや軸廻り の回転によるずれを解消でき動力の伝達効率が高まる。 また、 ピンとピストンを 一体型とすることで、 剛体としての強度も高まる。
このような中立位置保持機構を介して電磁比例弁にてスプール作動部材を油圧 制御する構成の油圧サーボ機構は、 前記油圧式無段変速装置の油圧ポンプ及び油 圧モータの両方が可変容量型である場合に、 該油圧ポンプ及び該油圧モータのそ れぞれの可動斜板角度の制御用として用いられる。 油圧式無段変速装置の変速範 囲が広く確保され、 高精度に制御することが可能となる。

第 1図及び第 2図に示すように、 油圧式無段変速装置 (以降、 「H S T」 と記 載する) 1の油圧ポンプ 2 1及び油圧モータ 2 2力く、 ハウジング (本体ハウジン グ) 3に内包されるとともに、 油路板 4の同一面上に配設されている。
可変容量式油圧ポンプ 2 1は、 駆動軸 2 1 a、 該駆動軸 2 1 aが挿嵌されて該 駆動軸 2 1 aと共に回動するシリンダブ口ック 2 1 b、 該駆動軸 2 1 aが挿嵌さ れて該シリ ンダブ口ック 2 1 bと該油路板 4との間に介装される弁板 2 4、 該シ リ ンダブ口ック 2 1 bに摺動自在に揷嵌されたプランジャ 2 1 e、 そして、 ハウ ジング 3に傾動可能に支持されて、 全プランジャ 2 1 eに当接する可動斜板 2 1 cにより構成されている。 可動斜板 2 1 cはプランジャ 2 1 eの摺動量を規制し、 該可変容量式油圧ボン プ 2 1の作動油の吐出量を調節可能に構成されている。 油路板 4には図示せぬ油 路が設けられており、 可変容量式油圧ポンプ 2 1より作動油が該油路を介して油 圧モータ 2 2に供給される。
油圧モータ 2 2は、 可変容量式油圧ポンプ 2 1と同様に、 油路板 4に揷嵌され てその一端をハウジング 3により回動自在に支持された出力軸 2 2 a、 該出力軸 2 2 aが挿嵌されて該出力蚰 2 2 aと共に回動するシリンダブ口ック 2 2 b、 該 出力軸 2 2 aが挿嵌されて該シリンダブロック 2 2 bと該油路板 4との間に介装 される弁板 2 4、 該シリ ンダブロック 2 2 bに摺動自在に挿嵌されたプランジャ 2 2 e、 そして、 ハウジング 3に固設されて全プランジャ 2 2 eの頭部に当接す る固定斜板 2 2 dにより構成されている。
以上の構成により、 エンジンの駆動力が駆動軸 2 1 aに入力されると、 油圧ポ ンプ 2 1が駆動され、 そして、 該油圧ポンプ 2 1の駆動により吐出された作動油 が油路板 4を介して油圧モータ 2 2に供給されて、 該作動油の流出入により油圧 モータ 2 2が駆動され、 油圧モータ 2 2の駆動力が出力軸 2 2 aに伝達される構 成となっている。
以上の如く構成された H S T 1は、 油圧ポンプ 2 1と油圧モータ 2 2が上下に 並設され、 油圧ポンプ 2 1の入力軸 2 1 aの前端部にはチャージポンプ C Pが付 設されている。
また、 油圧ポンプ 2 1の一側方には、 第 2図のように、 油圧サーボ機構 6が配 設されている。 油圧サーボ機構 6は、 油圧ポンプ 2 1の上面に付設された自動斜 板角度制御バルブ 6 1と、 ピストン 7 1と、 該ピス トン 7 1の内部に配置されス プール 7 2を有する手動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 2とから構成されるもので、 H S T 1のハウジング 3内部に埋設されている。
この油圧サーボ機構 6の構成について、 主に第 2図をもとに詳述する。 油圧サ —ボ機構 6は、 上述の如く自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 0及び手動斜板角度制御バ ルブ 6 2より構成されるもので、 第 2図に示すように、 前記油圧ポンプ 2 1の可 動斜板 2 1 cの側方にて、 ハウジング 3内にシリ ンダ室 7 0を形成し、 該シリ ン ダ室 7 0内にビストン 7 1を収納し、 該ピストン 7 1側面に可動斜板 2 1 cの側 部より突設したピン 2 3が嵌合され、 該ピス トン 7 1の軸心位置には貫通孔を開 口して、 この貫通孔内にスプール 7 2が摺動自在に嵌装されている。
該ピストン 7 1にはシリンダ室 7 0の上部と下部を連通する油路が形成され、 該油路はスプール 7 2の摺動により連通又は遮断されてピストン 7 1の上下の油 圧室に圧油を送油し、 該ピストン 7 1を上下方向に摺動できるようにしている。 第 4図等に示すように、 径の異なる第一ピン部 4 1 aと第二ピン部 4 1 bとを 連続状に形成してなるピン (スプール作動部材) 4 1力く、 後述の支持アーム 2 6 に揷通固定されており、 第 2図及び第 3図に示すように、 該支持アーム 2 6より 一方に突出する第一ピン部 4 1 aカ^ 後述の操作レバー 2 0の操作に伴う該第一 ピン部 4 1 aの揺動が可能なようにピストン 7 1の側面に充分な大きさで開口す る開口 7 1 aを通じて、 ハウジング 3内部に挿入され、 その先端が、 該スプール 7 2の下部外周に形成された嵌合溝 7 5に嵌入されている。 また、 該支持アーム 2 6より該第一ピン部 4 1 aと反対向きに突出する第二ピン部 4 1 bが捩じりバ ネ 4 0により挟持されている。
油圧サーボ機構 6の操作レバ一 2 0の回動操作にて捩じりパネ 4 0を作動する ことにより、 第 6図に示すように、 後記回動支点軸 2 5を中心に支持アーム 2 6 とピン 4 1 とを揺動し、 即ち、 ピン 4 1を回動支点軸 2 5を中心に公転させ、 こ れに伴ってスプール 7 2を上下移動させるように構成されている。 このように、 スプール 7 2により手動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 2が構成されており、 該スプール 7 2が上下摺動することで、 ピス トン 7 1の上方または下方に圧油が流動し、 ピ ストン 7 1を上下動させる。
また、 第 2図に示すように、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 0は、 電磁弁により構 成されている。 H S T 1の駆動軸 2 1 aに動力を供給するエンジンの負荷や足回 り (車輪) の負荷等が、 センサ等の検出手段により検出され、 この検出値に応じ て自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 0を切り換えて、 ピス トン 7 1の上方または下方に 圧油を供給することにより、 該ピス トン 7 1の上下位置を変更可能としている。
このように、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 0または手動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 2 によって、 最終的にビストン 7 1を油圧で上下動させることにより、 該ピストン 7 1に固設されたピン 2 3を上下移動させ、 それに伴って、 該ピン 2 3に連結さ れた油圧ポンプ 2 1の可動斜板 2 1 cを回動させ、 H S T 1の出力軸 2 2 aの回 転方向及び回転速度を変更するのである。
操作レバー 2 0からスプール 7 2までの手動斜板角度制御に係る連動機構につ いて説明する。 第 2図や第 3図等に示すように、 H S T 1のハウジング 3の外面 に、 ケ一シング 3 3が装着されており、 ケーシング 3 3内にて、 回動支点軸 2 5 が回動自在に軸支されており、 操作レバー 2 0の基端が、 該ケーシング 3 3より 外方に突出する回動支点軸 2 5の一端に固設されている。 該回動支点軸 2 5は、 第 4図の如く、 該操作レバー 2 0の配設側と反対側にて、 該ケーシング 3 3より 突出して、 他端がハウジング 3内に挿入されており、 該ハウジング 3内において ピン 4 1を一体に具備する支持アーム 2 6が該回動支点軸 2 5の端部に回動自在 に取り付けられている。
ケ一シング 3 3と支持アーム 2 6との間にて、 該回動支点軸 2 5には、 連動ァ ーム 2 7が固設されているとともに、 捩じりパネ 4 0が巻装されている。 該捩じ りパネ 4 0の両端部は上方に曲折されて、 第 4図や第 6図のように、 支持アーム 2 6に固設されたピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bとともに、 該連動アーム 2 7を挟 持するように配設されている。
操作レバー 2 0を回動操作すると、 第 6図等のように、 回動支点軸 2 5に固設 される連動アーム 2 7、 及び該連動アーム 2 7を挟持する捩じりバネ 4 0がー体 的に回動される。 さらに、 ピン 4 1力 ^ 該捩じりバネ 4 0に挟持されながら、 支 持アーム 2 6を介して回動支点軸 2 5回りに公転し、 スプール 7 2を上下に移動 させる。
ピン 4 1は、 操作レバ一 2 0が回動操作されていない状態においては、 可動斜 板 2 1 cの中立位置に対応する位置に保持され、 また、 回動操作した後、 該操作 レバー 2 0にかけていた操作力を緩めた場合には、 可動斜板 2 1 cの中立位置に 対応する位置まで復帰するように構成されていることが望まれる。 これを実現す ベく、 該操作レバー 2 0の回動支点軸 2 5を軸支するケ一シング 3 3内に中立位 置保持機構 1 1を構成しているのである。
この中立位置保持機構 1 1の一例として、 本発明に係る後述の回動制限機構及 びォ一バーストローク吸収機構を併備する第 2図乃至第 6図に示す中立位置保持 機構 1 1 aについて説明する。
第 3図に示すように、 該ケ一シング 3 3内には一端を開口するシリンダ室 3 3 aカ^ 前記回動支点軸 2 5に対して前後にオフセッ 卜された位置で、 その長手方 向を該回動支点軸 2 5とは直交する方向で形成されている。 該シリ ンダ室 3 3 a にはデテントロッ ド 3 4がその長手方向 (第 3図における上下方向) に摺動自在 に設けられ、 該デテントロッ ド 3 4はその一端がケーシング 3 3に形成された該 シリ ンダ室 3 3 aの閉端部に形成した支持凹部 3 3 bに、 もう一端がケ一シング 3 3の該シリ ンダ室 3 3 aの開端部に螺装されるキヤップ 3 9により支持されて いる。 なお、 後述の如く、 デテン卜ロッ ド 3 4は、 ミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの位置 調節のために軸芯方向に移動させるので、 該支持凹部 3 3 bの長さはその移動を 可能とするように設定されている。
該キャ ップ 3 9には雌螺子が形成されていて、 該デテン トロッ ド 3 4の一端部 に形成された調節螺子軸部 3 8が螺揷され、 そのキャップ 3 9より外側に突出し た部分には、 通常ロックナツ 卜 4 2が螺装されて、 該キャップ 3 9の外端部に締 止されて位置固定されており、 該ロックナッ ト 4 2を緩めて調節螺子軸部 3 8を 回転させることで、 デテントロッ ド 3 4をその長手方向に移動させるよう構成し ている。
ケ一シング 3 3のハウジング 3への対峙面には、 第 5図及び第 6図に示すよう な連通口 3 3 cが開口していて、 第 3図等の如く、 捩じりパネ 4 0に挟持された ピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bの先端部が、 該連通孔 3 3 cを通って該シリンダ室 3 3 a内に挿入されている。 デテントロッ ド 3 4の略中央部には、 該第二ピン部 4 1 bの径と略同一長のミ ドルデテント 3 4 a (位置決め部) が形成され、 該第 二ピン部 4 1 aは、 ミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 aに対して近接するよう位置合わせされ て、 ケ一シング 3 3内へ挿入されている。
なお、 本例においては、 ミ ドルデテント 3 4 aはデテン トロッ ド 3 4に一体的 に形成しているが、 ケーシング 3 3に一体的に形成して低コスト化を図ることも できる (但し、 このように形成したミ ドルデテントは後述のミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの位置調整のような位置調節を行うことはできない) 。 また、 該ミ ドルデテン ト 3 4 aを别体に形成してデテントロッ ド 3 4ゃケーシング 3 3に取り付けるこ とも可能である。
また、 ケーシング 3 3のシリンダ室 3 3 a内においては、 デテントロッ ド 3 4 のミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの両側それぞれにバネ受け 3 5がデテン卜ロッ ド 3 4の 軸心方向へ摺動自在に設けられている。 このシリンダ室 3 3 aのうち、 一方の ( 第 3図では上側の) パネ受け 3 5と、 該シリンダ室 3 3 aの該閉端部との間の空 間、 そして、 他方の (第 3図では下側の) パネ受け 3 5と、 キャップ 3 9との間 の空間を、 それぞれバネ室 3 7としている。 各バネ室 3 7にて、 ケーシング 3 3 とパネ受け 3 5との間に介装されるバネ 3 6、 及びキャップ 3 9とバネ受け 3 5 との間に介装されるバネ 3 6により、 両バネ受け 3 5がミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 a向 きに付勢され、 初期状態 (即ちピン 4 1が可動斜板 2 1 cの中立位置に対応する 位置にある状態) において、 両バネ受け 3 5により、 デテントロッ ド 3 4のミ ド ルデテント 3 4 a及びピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 b力く、 共に両側 (本実施例では 上下) から挟み込まれる構成となっている。
このようにピン 4 1及びミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 aを両側から挟み込む両バネ受け 3 5は、 外周部を強固なブロック材にて構成されるケ一シング 3 3によりガイ ド されているので、 該ピン 4 1を精度よく位置決めすることができる。
また、 各パネ受け 3 5にはデテン卜ロッ ド 3 4が通過する取付孔 3 5 aが形成 されている。 該取付孔 3 5 aには、 デテン卜ロッ ド 3 4のミ ドルデテント 3 4 a の外径よりも大きな開口部を有しているものとしており、 この開口部は、 位置決 めしたデテントロッ ド 3 4の軸芯から偏心した位置に形成している。
例えば、 第 7図に示す取付孔 3 5 aは、 二つの大小径の円孔をくつつけたタン ブラーのような形状をしており、 該バネ受け 3 5の中心部に形成される小径の円 孔部には、 位置決め後のデテントロッ ド 3 4のミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの両側に形 成されている各小径部 3 4 bを挿通されるものであり、 大径の円孔部は、 該デテ ントロッ ド 3 4の軸芯位置から偏心した位置にあって、 ミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 aの 外径よりも大きな口径を有しており、 デテントロッ ド 3 4をケーシング 3 3に対 して脱着する際に、 デテントロッ ド 3 4を位置決めした時の軸芯位置からずらせ て、 この大径部からデテントロッ ド 3 4を抜き差しすることができる。 また、 中 立位置保持機構 1 1 aの組立後、 即ち、 デテントロッ ド 3 4の位置決め後におい ては、 止め輪等の付加部材を用いることなくバネ受け 3 5をミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 aに係止させることが可能となるので、 部品点数の削減、 及び信頼性の向上を図 ることができる。
第 8図に示す取付孔 3 5 aは、 ミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの外径よりも大きな口径 を有する一つの円孔形状であり、 その中心位置は位置決めした後のデテントロッ ド 3 4の軸芯位置からずれているものの、 位置決め後のデテン卜ロッ ド 3 4の小 径部 3 4 bは、 この第 8図に示す取付孔 3 5 a内にて挿通された状態になる。 デ テン卜ロッ ド 3 4の脱着の際には、 第 7図に示す取付孔 3 5 aの場合と同様に、 デテン トロッ ド 3 4を位置決めした時の軸芯位置からずらせて、 該取付孔 3 5 a を通してデテントロッ ド 3 4を抜き差しすることができる。
このように取付孔 3 5 aを形成することにより、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 aの組 立作業ゃメンテナンス作業を簡便にすることができる。
第 9図に示すパネ受け 3 5の取付孔 3 5 aはデテン トロッ ド 3 4の小径部 3 4 bを軸芯方向に移動可能に揷通するだけの必要最小限な口径となっており、 デテ ントロッ ド 3 4を前述のように位置決め後の軸芯からずらせて脱着するという方 法を用いることはできないが、 該デテントロッ ド 3 4をバネ受け 3 5の取付前に 位置決めしておき、 該バネ受け 3 5は、 該デテン トロッ ド 3 4の軸芯に沿って移 動させながら位置決めさせることができる。
なお、 両バネ室 3 7を含めて、 該シリンダ室 3 3 a内には、 ハウジング 3内の H S T 1作動用の圧油が連通孔 3 3 cを介して充壚されており、 シリンダ室 3 3 a内のピス ト ン 3 4等の耐摩耗性を高めている。
しかし、 各パネ室 3 7内に充塡された圧油の油圧がパネ受け 3 5の作動を妨げ ることがあってはならない。 第 3図に示す実施例にあっては、 第 7図や第 8図に 示すような、 パネ受け 3 5に形成される偏心形状の取付孔 3 5 aを通じて圧油が 流通するので、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作に伴って移動するピン 4 1の第二ピン 部 4 1 bに押されるパネ受け 3 5がバネ室 3 7内の油圧で動きを妨げられること はない。
また、 第 9図に示す前述のパネ受け 3 5には、 オリフィ ス 3 5 cが形成されて いる。 パネ受け 3 5がデテントロッ ド 3 4の軸心方向へ摺動する際に、 該バネ受 け 3 5が急激に摺動しょうとすると、 圧油の該ォリフィス 3 5 cを通る際の通過 抵抗が大きくなつて、 該バネ受け 3 5を付勢するバネ 3 6の配設されているパネ 室 3 7内の油圧抵抗により、 該バネ受け 3 5を摺動するのに大きな力が必要とな る。 該バネ受け 3 5を緩やかに摺動しょうとすると、 圧油の該オリフィス 3 5 c 中での通過抵抗が小さくなり、 摺動しょうとするパネ受け 3 5側のバネ室 3 7内 の油圧が抜けていくので、 小さな力でバネ受け 3 5を摺動させることが可能とな る。
即ち、 該オリフィス 3 5 cはダンパー作用を有しており、 操作レバー 2 0を緩 やかに操作した場合は該操作レバー 2 0を小さな力で回動することが可能となつ て、 可動斜板 2 1 cの斜板角を操作することができる。 また、 操作レバ一 2 0を 急激に操作しょうとしても、 操作レバー 2 0を急激に回動するためには非常に大 きな力が必要となって、 可動斜板 2 1 cの斜板角を操作することが困難となるた め、 操作レバ一 2 0の急操作によるショックの発生を抑えることが可能となる。 このような機能を奏するオリフィス孔は、 ケーシング 3 3のパネ室 3 7形成部 分に形成し、 該オリフィス孔を介して該バネ室 3 7とハウジング 3とを連通する ように構成してもよい。
或いは、 該バネ受け 3 5の外周にデテントロッ ド 3 4の軸心方向と平行な溝を 形成してパネ室 3 7と連通口 3 3 cとを連通したりしてもよい。
このように、 オリフィス孔は簡易な構成で容易に設けることが可能である。 場 合によっては、 第 7図や第 8図に示すように構成した取付孔 3 5 aの、 位置決め 後のデテントロッ ド 3 4を揷通した部分以外の開口面積がォリフィスとして機能 するほどに充分に小さいならば、 オリフィス 3 5 cと同様の前述のような作用を する。
次に、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 aにより保持される可動斜板 2 1 cがその中立位 置に正確に位置合わせされるようにするため、 該中立位置保持機構 1 1 aに具備 されている中立位置調節機構につ 、て説明する。
ピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bは、 位置固定されているデテントロッ ド 3 4のミ ドルデテント 3 4 aと共に二つのパネ受け 3 5により挟み込まれた状態に保持さ れる。 該ピン 4 1がこの位置 (即ち、 その時のスプール 7 2及び該スプール 7 2 にて油圧位置制御されるピストン 7 1の位置) で保持されている時に、 油圧ボン プ 2 1の可動斜板 2 1 cが中立位置にある状態にしなければならない。
ミ ドルデテント 3 4 aに対して位置合わせされたピン 4 1が両バネ受け 3 5間 で保持された状態であるのに、 可動斜板 2 1 cがその中立位置からずれている場 合には、 ロックナッ ト 4 2を緩め、 調節螺子軸部 3 8を回転して、 デテントロッ ド 3 4のミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの位置を、 該デテントロッ ド 3 4の軸芯方向で調 節し、 両バネ受け 3 5間でミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 aとピン 4 1 とを挟み込んだ状態 の時に、 可動斜板 2 1 cが中立位置に位置するよう調整することが可能である。 このように、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 aは、 中立位置の微調整を行う調節機構を 具備している。 この中立位置調節機構は、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 aを分解したり する必要もなく、 外部に突出する調節螺子軸部 3 8を回転操作することにより中 立位置調節を行うように構成されているので、 外部からの中立位置調節操作が可 能であり、 該調整作業を容易にすることができる。
なお、 ミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの位置調節は、 調節螺子軸部 3 8の長さ内でなさ れるものであり、 この範囲内でのミ ドルデテント 3 4 aの位置調節に伴うバネ受 け 3 5の移動でバネ 3 6の付勢力が及ばなくなるということはない。 即ち、 該中 立位置調節の範囲内でミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 a位置を調節する限り、 パネ 3 6に付 勢された両バネ受け 3 5にてミ ドルデテン ト 3 4 aを挟持する状態を維持するこ とができるのである。
このように、 油圧ポンプ 2 1の可動斜板 2 1 cを中立位置に保持すべく、 デテ ントロッ ド 3 4、 一対のバネ 3 6及び一対のバネ受け 3 5よりなる中立位置保持 機構 1 1 aが構成されており、 該中立位置保持機構 1 1 aは、 簡単でコンパク 卜 な構成となっており、 中立位置の調整も容易に行うことができる。
また、 デテントロッ ド 3 4は、 キャップ 3 9にて片持ち支持された状態でケー シング 3 3の開端部を通して抜き差しすることができ、 ケ一シング 3 3の前記閉 端部に、 該デテン卜ロッ ド 3 4の一端を揷入するための支持凹部 3 3 bのみを加 ェしておけばよく、 また、 ケーシング 3 3の肉厚を薄く形成することが可能なの で、 低コスト化を図ることも可能である。
更に、 ミ ドルデテント 3 4 a及びピン 4 1を、 両バネ 3 6により互いに対向す るよう付勢される二つのパネ受け 3 5にて挟み込むことにより、 中立位置を保持 するように構成しているため、 パネ 3 6の付勢力を止め輪等の付加部材により受 けることが必要でなくなり、 止め輪が外れる等の心配がなくなって耐久性を向上 させることができ、 ひいては、 中立位置保持の精度を向上させることが可能とな ο
更に、 該ケーシング 3 3内には、 可動斜板の最大回動角を規制する回動制限機 構が構成されている。 即ち、 デテントロッ ド 3 4は、 ミ ドルデテン卜 3 4 aより 各端部に向かって、 一定長さの小径部 3 4 bを経てから、 大径の (ミ ドルデテン ト 3 4 aと略同径としてもよい) サイ ドデテント 3 4 cになっており、 従って、 小径部 3 4 bとサイ ドデテント 3 4 cとの間に段差部 3 4 dが形成されており、 デテン ト口ッ ド 3 4の軸心方向に沿ってデテントロッ ド 3 4の各端部に向かって 摺動する各バネ受け 3 5が最終的に各段差部 3 4 dに係止されるように構成して いる。
操作レバ一 2 0の回動操作によりピン 4 1が回動されると、 ピン 4 1が回動さ れる側のバネ受け 3 5力く、 バネ 3 6の付勢力に抗してピン 4 1と共にデテント口 ッ ド 3 4の端部側方向へ摺動する。 パネ受け 3 5がー定量摺動すると、 前記段差 部 3 4 dに押当係止して、 該バネ受け 3 5及びピン 4 1はそれ以上はデテントロ ッ ド 3 4の端部側へは移動できなくなる。 このように、 デテントロッ ド 3 4に形 成した段差部 3 4 dによりピン 4 1の回動量を制限し、 これにより可動斜板 2 1 cの最大回動角を規制するように構成している。
こうして、 可動斜板の最大回動角を規制する回動制限機構を、 中立位置保持機 構 1 1 aを構成するデテントロッ ド 3 4に一対のサイ ドデテント 3 4 cを形成す る、 即ち一対の段差部 3 4 dを形成することで構成しているので、 可動斜板 2 1 cの中立位置からの最大回動角を精度良く正確に設定することができるとともに 可動斜板 2 1 cや中立位置保持機構 1 1 aの各構成部材の耐久性を向上して長期 間高精度を保つことが可能となる。
また、 バネ受け 3 5のストロークに対応するデテントロッ ド 3 4のミ ドルデテ ン ト 3 4 aと各段差部 3 4 dとの間の長さ、 即ち、 小径部 3 4 bの長さは、 該デ テントロッ ド 3 4の機械的な加工工程にて決定する。 デテント口ッ ド 3 4をケ一 シング 3 3に組み込んだ後は回動制限機構の調整を行う必要がなくなるので、 例 えば、 出荷時における調整工程を省くことができる。
なお、 第 1 0図及び第 1 1図に示す別実施例では、 ミ ドルデテント 3 4 aや調 節螺子軸部 3 8を具備するデテントロッ ド 3 4に代えて、 ピン 4 1の中立位置決 めを行う手段として、 ケーシング 3 3の反ハウジング 3側外面に調節アーム 7 6 を添設し、 該調整アーム 7 6に形成されたドラム状の回動支点部 7 6 aをケ一シ ング 3 3に回動自在に嵌入軸支し、 該回動支点部 7 6 aの、 軸芯位置より偏心し た位置から突設される偏心ピン 7 6 bをシリ ンダ室 3 3 a内に嵌入している。 偏 心ピン 7 6 bは、 デテントロッ ド 3 4のミ ドルデテント 3 4 aに代わるもので、 ピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bとともに、 パネ 3 6にて付勢された両バネ受け 3 5 にて挟み込まれる。
また、 ケーシング 3 3に、 該回動支点部 7 6 aと同心弧状の長孔 3 3 dが形成 されていて、 調節アーム 7 6より突設されるガイ ドビン 7 7を該長孔 3 3 d内に 摺動自在に嵌入している。 このガイ ドビン 7 7を長孔 3 3 d内で移動させること により、 回動支点部 7 6 aがケーシング 3 3内で回動し、 それと一体状の偏心ピ ン Ί 6 bがシリンダ室 3 3 a内で移動して、 偏心ピン 7 6 bとともに、 ピン 4 1 の第二ピン部 4 1 bを両バネ受け 3 5間に挟み込まれたまま位置調節するのであ o
この第 1 0図及び第 1 1図に示す構成においては、 サイ ドデテン卜 3 4 cを具 備するデテントロッ ド 3 4に代えて、 バネ受け 3 5の移動規制手段、 即ち回動制 限機構となる別部材をケ一シング 3 3の各バネ室 3 7に内装するようにしてもよ いし、 ケ一シング 3 3の一部をそのような作用をするように加工してもよい。 前述のように操作レバー 2 0の回動操作に対してピン 4 1を連動させるための 捩じりバネ 4 0や連動アーム 2 7等は、 操作レバー 2 0のォ一バース卜ロークに もかかわらず、 前記回動制限機構によるピン 4 1の回動 (回動支点蚰 2 5回りの 公転) の規制を保持する、 言い換えれば、 ピン 4 1の回動範囲を超えての操作レ バー 2 0のオーバーストロ一クを吸収するオーバ一ストローク吸収機構を構成し ている。
第 6図の点線にて示すように、 前述の如く、 ピン 4 1は、 操作レバー 2 0の回 動操作により連動アーム 2 7及び捩じりバネ 4 0と一体的に回動 (即ち、 回動支 点軸 2 5回りに公転) されるが、 ピン 4 1が前記回動制限機構 (各段差部 3 4 b ) により該回転を制限されてそれ以上回動できなくなると、 第 6図で二点鎖線に て示す如く、 捩じりバネ 4 0に挟持され操作レバー 2 0と一体的に回動する連動 アーム 2 Ίが、 付勢力に抗して該捩じりバネ 4 0を広げながら回動する。 即ち、 ピン 4 1が回動制限機構により回動を制限された後は、 連動アーム 2 7のみが捩 じりパネ 4 0を広げながら回動し、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作力がピン 4 1に直 接かからないように構成している。
これにより、 操作レバー 2 0が過剰に回動操作された場合でも、 ピン 4 1や、 バネ受け 3 5及びデテン トロッ ド 3 4に無理な力がかかって、 これらの部材ゃサ ーボ機構 6 1が破損したり、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 aの調整が狂ったりすること を防止している。
以上のように、 H S T 1を内装するハウジング 3に付設されたケ一シング 3 3 に内装される中立位置保持機構 1 1 aと回動制限機構、 そして、 ケ一シング 3 3 とハウジング 3との間に配置されるオーバーストロ一ク吸収機構は、 実質的に H S T 1のハウジング 3に埋設されるような態様となり、 これらの各機構の各構成 部材に泥やごみ等の異物が付着することがなく、 動作不良が発生したり、 外部か らの衝搫により各調節が狂ったりすることを防止することができるとともに、 各 機構がコンパク 卜に H S T 1に装着され、 コス卜低減を図ることが可能となる。 以上の回動制限機構及びオーバース卜ローク吸収機構を併せて具備する中立位 置保持機構 1 1 aに代わって、 同様に、 回動制限機構及びオーバーストローク吸 収機構を併備する別の中立位置保持機構 1 1である、 第 1 2図乃至第 1 5図図示 の中立位置保持機構 1 l bの構成について、 第 1 2図乃至第 1 5図により説明す る。
この中立位置保持機構 1 1 bにて使用されるデテントロッ ド 9 4は、 第 1 2図 に示すように、 一端には後述のケーシング 9 3の内径と略同径のピン嵌合部 9 4 a、 他端には該ピン嵌合部 9 4 aよりも小径の第二デテント 9 4 f を有し、 該ピ ン嵌合部 9 4 aから該第二デテント 9 4 f に向けて、 該第二デテント 9 4 f と略 同径の第一デテント 9 4 bを延設し、 更に該第一デテント 9 4 bから該第二デテ ント 9 4 ίに向けて、 該第一 ·第二デテント 9 4 b · 9 4 ίよりも更に小径の第 一小径部 9 4 cを延設している。 一方、 該第二デテント 9 4 f から該ピン嵌合部 9 4 aに向けて、 該第一小径部 9 4 cと同径の第二小径部 9 4 eを延設し、 該第 一小径部 9 4 cと該第二小径部 9 4 eとの間に、 該第一 ·第二デテン卜 9 4 b · 9 4 f と略同径の第三デテント 9 4 dが形成されている。
デテント口ッ ド 9 4は、 第 1 2図の如く、 内部にパネ室 9 7と支持凹部 9 9 a とを連続形成している力一トリ ッジ 9 9内に軸芯方向に摺動自在に配設される。 第 1 2図に示すような初期状態 (ピン 4 1に代わる後述のピン 1 0 1が中立位置 にあって、 該デテントロッ ド 9 4に軸芯方向の力が加わっていない状態) におい ては、 第二デテン卜 9 4 f が支持凹部 9 9 a内に摺動自在に挿入されており、 第 一 ·第二小径部 9 4 c · 9 4 e及び第三デテント 9 4 dがパネ室 9 7内に配置さ れていて、 第一デテン卜 9 4 b及びピン嵌合部 9 4 aを該カー卜リ ッジ 9 9より 延出している。
バネ室 9 7内において、 第一小径部 9 4 cには第一パネ受け 9 5 aカ^ 第二小 径部 9 4 eには第二バネ受け 9 5 b力^ それぞれ摺動自在に環設されている。 ま た、 止め輪 9 7の外周縁がカートリッジ 9 9の内周部に固定されていて、 第一デ テント 9 4 bを摺動自在に挿通している。 両バネ受け 9 5 a . 9 5 b間には、 バ ネ 9 6が介装されていて、 第一バネ受け 9 5 aを第一デテン卜 9 4 bの端面、 即 ち第一デテント 9 4 bと第一小径部 9 4 cとの間に形成される第一段差部 9 4 g に、 また、 第二パネ受け 9 5 bを第二デテント 9 4 f の端面、 即ち第二デテント 9 4 f と第二小径部 9 4 eとの間に形成される第二段差部 9 4 hに、 それぞれ圧 接するように付勢している。
デテントロッ ド 9 4がピン嵌合部 9 4 a側に摺動すると、 第二バネ受け 9 5 b が第二デテント 9 4 f の端面 (第二段差部 9 4 h ) に圧接しながら、 パネ 9 6の 付勢力に抗して、 デテントロッ ド 9 4と共にピン嵌合部 9 4 a側へ摺動する。 逆に、 デテントロッ ド 9 4が第二デテント 9 4 f 側に摺動すると、 第一バネ受 け 9 5 aが第一デテント 9 4 bの端面 (第一段差部 9 4 g ) に圧接しながら、 バ ネ 9 6の付勢力に抗して、 デテントロッ ド 9 4とともに第二デテン卜 9 4 f 側へ 摺動する。 このように、 デテン トロッ ド 9 4、 止め輪 9 7、 バネ受け 9 5 a · 9 5 b、 及 びバネ 9 6を一体的に内装した力一卜リ ッジ 9 9は、 第 1 2図の如く、 ケーシン グ 9 3内に脱着可能に装着され、 ピン嵌合部 9 4 aをケ一シング 9 3内周面に摺 動自在に案内することにより、 デテントロッ ド 9 4の支持強度を向上させ、 中立 位置保持等の精度を向上するようにしている。
また、 ケーシング 9 3には、 第 1 3図の如く、 操作レバー 2 0の回動支点とな る回動支点軸 2 5が回動自在に嵌装され、 その一端に操作レバー 2 0の基端が固 設されており、 該回動支点軸 2 5の他端は反対側にて該ケーシング 9 3より突出 し、 連動アーム 8 7を固設している。 即ち、 回動支点軸 2 5を介して、 連動ァー ム 8 7が操作レバー 2 0と一体的に回動する。
更に、 回動支点軸 2 5には、 捩じりバネ 1 0 0が巻装されており、 その両端部 が曲折されて、 前記連動アーム 8 7とピン 1 0 1を挟持している。 該ピン 1 0 1 の両端のうち、 第二端部 1 0 1 bは前記油圧サーボ機構 6のスプール 7 2に嵌合 され、 第一端部 1 0 1 aを、 第 1 4図や第 1 5図等に示したケーシング 9 3の長 孔開口部 9 3 aを介して、 該ケ一シング 9 3内のピン嵌合部 9 4 aに嵌入してい る。
デテント口ッ ド 9 4に力がかかっていない状態では、 該デテン卜ロッ ド 9 4の ピン嵌合部 9 4 aはパネ 9 6の付勢力により一定位置に保持されており、 この状 態において、 該ピン嵌合部 9 4 aに嵌入されたピン 1 0 1と、 スプール 7 2や前 記ピス トン 7 1等を介して連動連結される可動斜板 2 1 cが中立位置に保持され るように構成している。
即ち、 ケ一シング 9 3へ装着される力一トリ ッジ 9 9に内装されるデテン卜口 ッ ド 9 4、 止め輪 9 7、 パネ受け 9 5 a · 9 5 b、 及びパネ 9 6により、 可動斜 板 2 1 cを中立位置に保持する中立位置保持機構 1 1 bが構成されている。 このように構成される中立位置保持機構 1 1 bにおいて、 操作レバ一 2 0を回 動操作すると、 回動支点軸 2 5に固設される連動アーム 8 7、 及び該連動アーム 8 7を挟持する捩じりパネ 1 0 0がー体的に回動される。
更に、 捩じりバネ 1 0 0に挟持されるピン 1 ◦ 1力く、 該捩じりバネ 1 0 0の回 動動作に伴って、 デテン卜ロッ ド 9 4と一体的に該デテントロッ ド 9 4の軸芯方 向に移動する。 この際、 ケ一シング 9 3の長孔開口部 9 3 aがピン 1 0 1を摺動 案内する。
デテント口ッ ド 9 4が第二デテント 9 4 f 側へ一定量、 即ち、 第一小径部 9 4 cの長さ分移動すると、 第一デテント 9 4 bの端面 (第一段差部) に押されて共 に移動する第一バネ受け 9 5 aカ^ 該デテン卜ロッ ド 9 4の第三デテント 9 4 d に押接し、 デテントロッ ド 9 4はそれ以上移動できない。 逆に、 デテントロッ ド 9 4がピン嵌合部 9 4 a側へ第二小径部 9 4 eの長さ分移動すると、 第二デテン ト 9 4 ίの端面 (第二段差部) に押されて共に移動する第二パネ受け 9 5 bが第 三デテント 9 4 dに押接し、 デテント口ッ ド 9 4はそれ以上移動できないのであ る
このように、 デテン卜ロッ ド 9 4の第三デテン卜 9 4 dはデテントロッ ド 9 4 の軸芯方向の移動量、 即ち、 ピン 1 0 1の移動量を制限し、 これにより可動斜板 2 1 cの最大回動角を規制する回動制限機構として機能する。
機械加工にてデテントロッ ド 9 4に形成される第三デテント 9 4 dの位置精度 は、 該第三デテント 9 4 cを加工する際の機械的な加工精度により決定されるの で、 デテントロッ ド 9 4をケーシング 9 3に組み込んだ後は回動制限機構の調整 を行う必要がなくなり、 例えば、 出荷時における調整工程を省く ことが可能とな る。
回動制限機構により規制されるピン 1 0 1の移動量以上に操作レバー 2 0が回 動操作された場合には、 該操作レバー 2 0の回動支点軸 2 5回りに構成される捩 じりバネ 1 0 0等よりなるオーバース卜ローク吸収機構により、 操作レバ一 2 0 の回動操作を吸収するようにしている。
前述の如く、 ピン 1 0 1は、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作に伴って、 連動アーム 8 7と共に捩じりバネ 1 0 0に挟持された状態で移動されるが、 操作レバ一 2 0 の回動角が一定量に達して、 ピン 1 0 1が前記回動制限機構により回動を制限さ れてそれ以上回動できなくなると、 捩じりバネ 1 0 0に挟持され操作レバ一 2 0 と一体的に回動する連動アーム 8 7が、 付勢力に抗して該捩じりパネ 1 0 0を広 げながら回動する (例えば第 6図に示される、 前記の中立位置保持機構 1 1 aに おける捩じりバネ 4 0、 ピン 4 1及び連動アーム 2 7の動きを参照) 。 即ち、 ピ ン 1 0 1が回動制限機構により回動を制限された後は、 連動アーム 8 7のみが捩 じりバネ 1 0 0を広げながら回動し、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作力がピン 1 0 1 に直接かからないように構成している。
以上の如く構成された中立位置保持機構 1 l b、 そして、 それに併せて構成さ れている回動制限機構、 及びオーバーストローク吸収機構は、 カートリ ッジ 9 9 が装着されるケ一シング 9 3を、 H S T 1のハウジング 3に装着することで、 前 述の中立位置保持機構 1 1等の場合と同様に、 実質的にハウジング 3に埋設され ているような様態となっており、 これらの各機構の各構成部材に泥やごみ等の異 物が付着することがなく、 動作不良が発生したり、 外部からの衝撃により各調節 が狂つたりすることを防止することができる。
また、 本実施例における中立位置保持機構 1 l bは、 ケーシング 9 3とは別体 のカートリ ッジ 9 9に内装されており、 該カートリ ッジ 9 9を、 第 1 4図に示す ような様態で、 ハウジング 3に取り付けられるケーシング 9 3に着脱可能に装着 するようにしているので、 該中立位置保持機構 1 1 bの中立位置調整や、 メンテ ナンスを容易に行うことが可能となる。 さらに、 該機構を小型に構成することが できるとともに、 コスト低減を図ることが可能となる。
以上に説明した H S T 1は、 可変容量型油圧ポンプ 2 1と固定容量型油圧モー 夕 2 2とを組み合わせたもので、 第 2図に示すように、 可動斜板 2 1 cを制御す る油圧サーボ機構 6が該 H S T 1のハウジング 3に一つだけ埋設されている。 これに対し、 第 1 6図乃至第 1 8図に示す H S T 2は、 油圧モータ 2 2をも可 変容量型としており、 油圧ポンプ 2 1及び油圧モータ 2 2の両可動斜板 2 1 c · 2 2 cを位置制御するための油圧サーボ機構 6が二つ (即ち、 油圧ポンプ 2 1の 側方に可動斜板 2 1 c制御用油圧サーボ機構 6がーつ、 油圧モータ 2 2の側方に 可動斜板 2 2 c制御用油圧サーボ機構 6が一つ) 、 ハウジング 3に埋設されてい 更に、 前述の第 2図に示す H S T 1においては、 電磁比例弁である自動斜板角 度制御バルブ 6 0は、 ハウジング 3内に形成されるシリンダ室 7 0内に対する圧 油の流動制御を行って、 ピス トン 7 1の位置を直接的に油圧制御して可動斜板の 位置を変更するものとなっており、 該ハゥジング 3におけるシリンダ室 7 0形成 部分の上方に配設されていた。
これに対して、 第 1 7図等に示す H S T 2は、 第 1 8図や第 1 9図等に示す如 く、 各油圧サーボ機構 6の外側に付設されている中立位置保持機構 1 1 (本例で は後述の中立位置保持機構 1 1 c ) を内装するケ一シング 1 0 (前記ケ一シング 3 3や 9 3に代わる) の前部または後部に自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1を付設し ており、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 (後述の中立位置保持機構 1 1 c等) を作動して スプール 7 2を動かすことにより、 ビス トン 7 1を移動して可動斜板 2 1 cまた は 2 2 cを移動するものとなっている。 前述の H S T 1用の自動斜板角度制御バ ルブ 6 0は、 ピス トン 7 1を移動させるベく シリンダ室 7 0内の油圧を制御する ので、 大容量の専用のものが必要であるが、 H S T 2用の自動斜板角度制御バル ブ 6 1は、 それより小さいケーシング 1 0内のシリンダ室 1 0 c内の油圧を制御 するので、 小容量の市販のものですむ。
第 1 8図乃至第 2 3図に示す中立位置保持機構 1 1 cは、 このように、 自動斜 板角度制御バルブ 6 1を付設したハウジング 1 0内に内装され、 操作レバ一 2 1 及び自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1により制御される構成であり、 その構成につい て説明する。
第 1 6図等に示すように、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 cを内装するケーシング 1 0 (後述のケーシング大部 1 O b ) の後端上下部 (第 2 0図における右端上下部) に、 一対の略円筒状の自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1を、 それぞれ複数の固定ボル ト 6 3で締止している。 各自動斜扳角度制御バルブ 6 1から延出される配線 6 5 の他端は、 図示せぬ電磁比例弁制御用コントローラに接続する。
第 2 0図及び第 2 1図等に示すように、 ケーシング 1 0は、 略直方体形状のケ
—シング大部 1 0 b前端 (第 2 0図では左端) の上下途中部より、 該ケーシング 大部 1 0 bより一回り小さい略直方体形状のケ一シング小部 1 O bを前方に (第 2 0図では左方に) 延出した形状であって、 ケ一シング小部 1 0 aにて、 操作レ バー 2 0の回動支点軸 2 5を軸支し、 該回動支点蚰 2 5回りにオーバーストロ一 ク吸収機構が形成されており、 ケーシング大部 1 0 b内には上下貫通状のシリン ダ室 1 0 cが形成されていて、 該シリンダ室 1 0 c内に、 回動制限機構を兼備す る中立位置保持機構 1 1 cの構成部材が揷設されている。 ケ一シング大部 1 0 b内における、 シリンダ室 1 0 cの後方 (第 2 0図におい ては右方) には、 上下貫通状の油路さらに二本穿孔している。 この二本の油路は 該シリンダ室 1 0 c側から順に、 チャージボンプから圧油が供給されるポンプポ ート 1 0 d、 ドレンへ返油するタンクポート 1 0 eとされる。
そして、 該ケ一シング大部 1 0 bの後端面に配設した前記の各自動斜板角度制 御バルブ 6 1の蚰心位置から、 タンクポー卜 1 0 e、 ポンプポート 1 0 dを経て シリ ンダ室 1 0 cまで貫通するスプール孔 1 0 f を穿孔している。 両スプール孔 1 0 ίは、 シリ ンダ室 1 0 c内の後記ビストン 4 4の両側に形成されている両油 圧室にそれぞれ連通している。
各スプール孔 1 0 f には、 電磁的に進退制御されるスプール 1 2を挿設してお り、 その外周面をスプール孔 1 0 f の内周面に摺動自在に当接することにより、 各スプール孔 1 0 f を介して、 シリンダ室 1 0 cとポンプポー卜 1 0 dとが、 ま た、 ポンプポート 1 0 dとタンクポート 1 0 eとが流体連通しないように塞いで いる。
但し、 各スプール 1 2の長手方向途中部には、 該スプール 1 2の本来の径長よ りも小径の部分を形成して、 該小径部に径状の油路 1 2 bを穿設しており、 該径 状油路 1 2 bより該スプール 1 2の先端 (チップ) 1 2 cまで、 該スプール 1 2 の幸由芯状に油路 1 2 dを形成しており、 該チップ 1 2 cにおける軸芯条油路 1 2 dの開口端は、 常時シリンダ室 1 0 c内に連通している。 従って、 第 2 2図に示 すようにスプール 1 2が配置されれば、 油路 1 2 b · 1 2 dを介してシリンダ室
1 0 cとポンプポ一ト 1 0 dとを連通する状態にすることができ、 また、 第 2 3 図に示すようにスプール 1 2が配置されれば、 油路 1 2 b · 1 2 dを介してシリ ンダ室 1 0 cとタンクポート 1 0 eとを連通する状態にすることができる。 また、 各スプール 1 2の頭部 1 2 aは、 ケーシング 1 0 (ケーシング大部 1 0 b ) 内のタンクポート 1 0 eの後方部分にて、 各自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1よ り突設される後述の可動鉄心 6 6の先端に当接している。
第 2 0図の如く、 ケ一シング小部 1 0 aには、 該シリンダ室 1 0 cの長手方向 と直交する方向に、 回動支点軸 2 5が回動自在に軸支されており、 その外端部が 該ケーシング小部 1 0 aより外側に突出しており、 該外端部に操作レバー 2 0の 基端が固設されている。 該回動支点軸 2 5の他端部は、 該ケ一シング小部 1 0 a よりハウジング 3内へと突出しており、 その突出部分には連動アーム 2 7を固設 し、 捩じりバネ 4 0を巻装し、 更に、 該他端部に支持アーム 2 7の基端部を遊嵌 しており、 該支持アーム 2 7の先端付近に、 該回動支点軸 2 5と平行状に、 手動 斜板角制御バルブ 6 2としてのスプール 7 2を駆動するスプール作動部材として のピン 4 1を固設し、 該ハウジング 3内にて、 ピン 4 1の第一ピン部 4 1 aをス プール 7 2に嵌合している。 捩じりパネ 4 0の両端は曲折されて、 該支持アーム 2 7及び該ピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bを挟持している。
以上の構成は、 前述の中立位置保持機構 1 1 aに併設したものと同様であり、 捩じりパネ 4 0や連動アーム 2 7は、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作にて回動支点軸 2 5と一体に回動することにより、 ピン 4 1を回動支点軸 2 5回りに公転させ、 前記スプール 7 2を移動させて、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cを回動すべく油圧 ピストン 7 1を油圧制御するとともに、 操作レバー 2 0がピン 4 1の移動規制位 置を超えて操作された場合のォ一バーストロークを吸収するオーバ一ストローク 吸収機構を構成している。
また、 ケーシング 1 0のシリンダ室 1 0 cの略中央部からケ一シング 1 0の連 結アーム 2 7配設側外面まで、 長孔状の連通孔 1 0 gが形成されており、 該ピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bが該連通孔 1 0 gを通ってシリンダ室 1 0 c内に挿入さ れている。 この連通孔 1 0 gは、 長孔としての長手方向が、 シリ ンダ室 1 0 cの 長手方向に沿うように形成されており、 操作レバー 2 0を回動操作すると、 ピン 4 1が連通孔 1 0 gに沿って、 連動アーム 2 7及び捩じりバネ 4 0を介して、 該 操作レバ一 2 0と一体的に回動されて、 前記スプール 7 2を移動操作するように 構成されている。
ケーシング大部 1 0 bのシリンダ室 1 0 c内にて構成される中立位置保持機構 1 1 cについて説明する。
第 2 0図及び第 2 1図に示すように、 該シリンダ室 1 0 cには、 ピス トン 4 4 がその長手方向 (第 2 0図における上下方向) へ摺動自在に挿嵌されている。 該 ピストン 4 4の略中央部には、 該シリンダ室 1 0 c内に挿入されたピン 4 1の第 二ピン部 4 1 bの径と略同一の大きさの幅で、 環状溝 4 4 aが形成されており、 該第二ピン部 4 1 bの先端部を該環状溝 4 4 a内に挿嵌している。
該ピス トン 4 4の環状溝 4 4 aの両側 (第 2 0図では、 該環状溝 4 4 aの上方 及び下方) には、 それぞれ、 連続状にボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bと、 バネ室 4 4 c とが形成されており、 該バネ室 4 4 cが該シリ ンダ室 1 0 cの各開口端に向けて 開口している。
第 2 0図において、 ケーシング 1 0の両端面 (上面及び下面) におけるシリ ン ダ室 1 0 cの両開口端のそれぞれを塞ぐべく、 ケーシング 1 0の各端面にそれぞ れキヤップ 4 9を締止している。
該ピストン 4 4の各パネ室 4 4 c内には、 バネ受け 4 5が配設されていて、 各 バネ受け 4 5と、 各キャップ 4 9近傍にて後記調節ボルト 4 8に固定環設されて 位置固定されている各固定パネ受け 5 0との間に、 圧縮状態でパネ 4 6を介装し ている。 これにより、 各バネ受け 4 5が両バネ受け 4 5間に位置する環状溝 4 4 aに向けて付勢され、 初期状態、 即ち、 操作レバー 2 0に操作力をかけていない 状態では、 各バネ室 4 4 cの端面、 即ち、 該バネ室 4 4 cと該ボル卜ガイ ド凹部 4 4 bとの間の段差部に圧接した状態となっている。 こうして、 ピン 4 1を挟持 する環状溝 4 4 aが両バネ 4 6による両側からの付勢力で位置固定されているこ とによって、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cが中立位置で保持されるのである。 操作レバー 2 0を回動操作した場合には、 前述の如く、 ピン 4 1が捩じりパネ 4 0に挟持された状態で回動支点軸 2 5を中心に公転し、 その動きで、 ピス トン 4 4を、 両バネ 4 6の付勢力に抗してシリンダ室 1 0 cの長手方向に沿って移動 させる。 そして、 操作レバー 2 0への操作力を緩めると、 再び両バネ 4 6の付勢 力にて、 ピン 4 1に嵌合するピストン 4 4が初期位置に戻り、 従って、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cを中立位置に戻すのである。
以上のように、 ピン 4 1を操作レバー 2 0の操作にて移動させる場合には、 バ ネ 4 6の付勢力を利用するが、 シリンダ室 1 0 c内には、 ピストン 4 4の両側に 圧油が供給されていて、 該ピストン 4 4は、 後に詳述するように、 二つの自動斜 板角度制御バルブ 6 1により作動される復動式の油圧ピス トンとなっている。 従 つて、 操作レバー 2 0によるピストン 4 4の操作においては、 この油圧室内の油 圧抵抗がその動きを妨げてはならない。 操作レバ一 2 0の操作時においては、 第 2 0図に示すように、 両方の自動斜板 角度制御バルブ 6 1のソレノィ ドが非励磁状態であり、 即ち、 ソレノィ ド推力が 0の状態なので、 バネ 6 8の付勢力にて両スプール 1 2が第 2 2図に示す位置に 保持され、 タンクポート 1 0 eと該シリンダ室 1 0 a内の各油圧室とを連通して いる。 従って、 例えばピストン 4 4を第 2 0図の上方に移動させる場合には、 上 側の油圧室よりタンクポート 1 0 eへと余剰圧油が抜け、 逆に下側の油圧室は、 負圧となる分、 一時的にスプール 1 2が第 2 3図の状態のように突出し、 ポンプ ポート 1 0 eより圧油が捕塡されるので、 両油圧室とも、 最終的にタンクポ一卜 1 0 eと略同一圧に保持され、 ピストン 4 4の移動を妨げないのである。
該中立位置維持機構 1 1 cを内装する該シリンダ室 1 0 c内においては、 両バ ネ 4 6の付勢力にて位置固定される環状溝 4 4 aの位置が、 可動斜板 2 1 cまた は 2 2 cの中立位置に対応するのに相応しいピン 4 1の位置からずれている場合 に、 該環状溝 4 4 aの位置を該ピン 4 1の正確な位置に合わせられるように、 該 シリ ンダ室 1 0 c内に、 一対の調節ボルト 4 8力、 該ピストン 4 4を挟んで (第 2 0図では該ピストン 4 4の上方と下方とに) 該シリンダ室 1 0 cの長手方向に 配設されている。
各調節ボルト 4 8は、 該ピストン 4 4の各パネ室 4 4 cを通り、 バネ受け 4 5 を摺動自在に貫通して、 その内端部 (ボルト頭部) 4 8 a力^ 各ボル卜ガイ ド凹 部 4 4 b内に摺動自在に揷嵌されている。
各調節ボルト 4 8の外端部は、 各キャップ 4 9に形成される雌螺子に螺合しな がら挿通して外方に突出しており、 該突出部分に形成されている螺子山にロック ナッ ト 5 2が螺装されている。 通常は、 該ロックナツ ト 5 2をキヤップ 4 9表面 に締め付けて、 調節ボルト 4 8を位置固定しており、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cの中立位置に対応するピン 4 1の位置と、 両バネ 4 6の付勢力にて保持される 環状溝 4 4 aの初期位置とがずれている場合には、 該ロックナツ 卜 5 2を緩め、 両調節ボルト 4 8を回転させてその軸芯方向に移動させることにより、 ビス卜ン 4 4を移動させ、 環状溝 4 4 aの位置を調節する。
実際の操作の例として、 第 2 0図において、 ピン 4 1を上方に移動させたい場 合を考えてみる。 この場合には、 まず、 上側のロックナツ ト 5 2を緩め、 上側の 調節ボル卜 4 8を上方へ移動すると、 そのボル卜頭部 4 8 aが上側のバネ 4 6の 付勢力に抗して、 上側のパネ受け 4 5をともに上方へと押し上げる。
適当なところまで移動させた後に、 下側のロックナツ ト 5 2を緩め、 下側の調 節ボルト 4 8を上方へと移動させると、 ピス トン 4 4は、 上側のパネ受け 4 5力く 上方に移動している分だけ、 上側のパネ 4 6による下向きの付勢力を受けていな いので、 下側のバネ 4 6の上向きの付勢力で、 下側のバネ受け 4 5は、 ビス卜ン 4 の下側のバネ室 4 4 cと下側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bとの間の段差部に当 接したままで、 下側の調節ボルト 4 8と一体に上方に移動する。 この移動にて、 環状溝 4 4 aに係合されているピン 4 1を上方に移動させ、 可動斜板 2 1 cまた は 2 2 cの中立位置に対応する正しい位置に合わせ、 下側のロックナツ ト 5 2を 締めて、 下側の調節ボルト 4 8を固定する。
次いで、 上方に適当な位置まで移動させておいた上側の調節ボル卜 4 8を下方 に移動させると、 上側のバネ 4 6の付勢力で、 上側のパネ受け 4 5力く、 上側の調 節ボルト 4 8のボル卜頭部 4 8 aに当接したまま共に下方に移動し、 最終的にこ のバネ受け 4 5がピストン 4 4の上側のバネ室 4 4 cと上側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bとの間の段差部に当接したら、 即ち、 両調節ボル卜 4 8のボルト頭部 4 8 a同士の間隔が、 環状溝 4 4 aの位置調節前の両ボルト頭部 4 8 a同士の間隔と 同一になったら、 上側のロックナツ 卜 5 2を締めて、 上側の調節ボルト 4 8を固 定し、 ピン 4 1の位置調節作業を終了する。
もし、 ピン 4 1を、 両バネ 4 6の付勢力にて保持される環状溝 4 4 aの位置よ りも下方に移動させたい場合であれば、 前述の上側の調節ボル卜 4 8等と下側の 調節ボルト 4 8等とに関する操作を逆にして、 環状溝 4 4 aの位置調節作業を行 えばよい。
両調節ボルト 4 8は、 ビストン 4 4の中立位置出しのための調節手段としてだ けでなく、 回動制限機構、 即ち、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cの回動最大角度を 設定する機構としても機能する。 即ち、 ピストン 4 4には、 環状溝 4 4 aの両側 にて二つのボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bが形成されており、 その長さが、 各調節ボル ト 4 8のビストン 4 4に対する相対摺動範囲として設定されている。 例えば、 第 1 9図でピス トン 4 4が上方に移動する場合、 位置固定されてある上側の調節ボ ルト 4 8のボルト頭部 4 8 aが、 上側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bの最奥端面 (下 端面) に押当するまで移動可能である。 ピストン 4 4を下方に移動する場合には 下側の調節ボル卜 4 8のボルト頭部 4 8 aが下側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bの最 奥端面 (上端面) に押当する位置がその移動制限位置である。
また、 このようなピストン 4 4の移動制限位置を超えて操作レバー 2 0が回動 操作された場合には、 前述と同様に、 捩じりパネ 4 0及び連動アーム 2 7による オーバーストローク吸収機構にてそのオーバ一ス卜ロークが吸収される。
次に、 電磁比例弁からなる自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1により、 中立位置保持 機構 1 1 cのピストン 4 4を上下に摺動させて、 ピン 4 1、 スプール 7 2及びピ ストン 7 1を通じて可動斜板 2 1 c · 2 2 cの斜板角を制御する制御機構を、 第 2 2図及び第 2 3図を参照しながら説明する。
自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1は、 コイル 6 4、 軸芯方向に摺動可能な可動鉄心 6 6、 及びコイル 6 4の磁力を増加させる固定鉄心 6 7等で、 電気信号の O N · 0 F Fによって制御される強力なソレノィ ドを構成している。
スプール 1 2のスプール頭部 1 2 aは、 バネ 6 8により、 ソレノィ ド側へ付勢 されている。 コイル 6 4に対して電流を流すと、 その電流値に比例して、 ソレノ ィ ド推力 F s 0 1 (即ち、 可動鉄心 6 6に付加される推力) が決定する。 このソ レノィ ド推力 F s 0 1に対抗するよう、 スプール 1 2に発生するシリ ンダ室 1 0 c内のピストン 4 4の各側における各油圧室内の油圧にてスプール 1 2に発生す る力、 即ち、 該油圧 Pと、 スプール 1 2の先端 1 2 cの断面積 S (定数) との積 であるスプール推力 F sが働く ものであって、 スプール 1 2は、 実際には第 2 2 図に示す位置と第 2 3図に示す位置との間で振動しながら、 最終的にソレノィ ド 推力 F s o 1 とスプール推力 F sとが釣り合う位置に収束する。 なお、 パネ 6 8 は、 ソレノィ ドが非励磁の時にスプール 1 2を前述のように初期位置に保持した り、 コイル特性を是正するためのものであって、 このソレノイ ド推力 F s o 1 と スプール推力 F sとの関係においては無視してよい。
電流値を増加させると、 それに比例してソレノィ ド推力 F s 0 1が増加するの で、 これに対抗するようにスプール推力 F sを高めるべく、 油圧 Pを上昇する傾 向が生まれる。 従って、 スプール 1 2は振動しながらシリンダ室 1 0 c側へと移 動して、 第 2 3図の如く、 ポンプポート 1 0 dとシリ ンダ室 1 0 cの各油圧室と を連通し、 油圧 Pを上昇させ、 スプール推力 F sとソレノィ ド推力 F s o 1 とを 釣り合わせる。 該油圧 Pの上昇分は、 ソレノィ ド推力 F s 0 1の増加分に比例す るものであり、 この油圧上昇によってピストン 4 4を押動する。 即ち、 電磁比例 弁である自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のソレノイ ドに流す電流値に比例して、 ピ ストン 4 4が移動するのである。
このように電子制御にてピストン 4 4を移動させる場合には、 各油圧サーボ機 構 6に対して設けている両自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のうち、 一方のソレノィ ドのコイル 6 4のみに電流を流し、 他方のそれは電流値 0とする。 ピストン 4 4 の移動の際においては、 電流値 0の方の自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のスプール 1 2は、 バネ 6 8の付勢力はもとより、 そのスプール 1 2の連通する油圧室が収 縮するので、 その油圧でスプール 1 2は第 2 2図に示す初期位置に保持され、 収 縮による増圧分は、 タンクポート 1 0 eに戻される。 こうして、 例えば、 ピスト ン 4 4を下方に移動させたい場合には、 上下両自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のう ち、 上方のバルブ 6 1のソレノィ ドにのみ電流を流し、 下方のバルブ 6 1は電流 値 0にしておく ものであり、 上方のバルブ 6 1における電流値に応じてピストン 4 4が下方に移動するのである。
このように、 両自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のいずれかに選択的に電流を流す ことにより、 ピストン 4 4を上下いずれかに摺動移動させることができ、 このピ ストン 4 4の摺動移動により、 該ピストン 4 4に嵌合するピン 4 1力く、 ケーシン グ 1 0の連通孔 1 0 gに沿って摺動され、 これに伴ってスプール 7 2を移動し、 油圧ポンプ 2 1の可動斜板 2 1 c或いは油圧モータ 2 2の可動斜板 2 2 cの斜板 角を自動制御することができるのである。
自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1は、 センサ等の検出手段により検出したエンジン の負荷や足回り (車輪) の負荷等を電磁比例弁制御用コントローラにフィードバ ックすることにより、 そのコイル 6 4に電流を流すタイミング及び電流量が制御 され、 可動斜板 2 1 c · 2 2 cの斜板角を最適な状態にコントロールできるよう に構成されている。
本実施例では、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1は、 前述の第 1図に示すような自 動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 0、 即ち、 ピストン 7 1を直接に位置制御すべく大容量 の圧油制御を可能とするタイプのものではなく、 コンパク 卜な中立位置保持機構
1 1 cのピストン 4 4の位置を油圧制御すればよいので、 市販の電磁比例弁です み、 また、 前述の第 1図で示すものはハウジング 3の上方に付設していたが、 本 実施例では、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 cを内装するケ一シング 1 0の前部または後 部に付設しているため、 装置としてもコンパク トで低コストである。 従って、 こ のような様態に自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1を付設した第 1 6図に示すような H
S T 2は、 油圧ポンプ 2 1と油圧モ一夕 2 2の両方を可変容量型として、 可動斜 板の自動制御を必要とするものでありながら、 低コストでコンパク 卜なものとな つている。
次に、 第 2 0図乃至第 2 3図に示すものと同様に自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1 を付設したハウジング 1 0内に、 別構成の中立位置保持機構である中立位置保持 機構 1 1 dを内装している実施例を、 第 2 4図及び第 2 5図により説明する。 ケーシング 1 0の構造は、 前述の第 2 0図及び第 2 1図で示すものと実質的に 同一であり、 操作レバー 2 0の回動支点軸 2 5を軸支するケーシング小部 1 0 a と、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 dを内装し、 かつ上下二つの電磁比例弁である自動斜 板角度制御バルブ 6 1を付設したケーシング大部 1 0 bとを連接した形状であつ て、 該ケーシング大部 1 0 b内におけるシリ ンダ室 1 0 c * ポンプポート 1 0 d • タンクポート 1 0 e · スプール孔 1 0 f の各油路構造も同様である。 なお、 第 2 5図の後面図は、 ケーシング 1 0をハウジング 3に取り付けるためのボルト孔 1 0 iが上下対称でないのを、 上下対称にしたものに置換すれば、 第 2 0図のハ ウジング 1 0の後面図として使用できる。
シリンダ室 1 0 cの両開口端は、 前述と同一構造のキャップ 4 9によって塞が れている。
シリンダ室 1 0 c内には、 ピストン 5 4を摺動自在に配設している。 該ピスト ン 5 4内においては、 その軸芯に沿って、 ボル卜ガイ ド凹部 5 4 bと、 該ボル卜 ガイ ド凹部 5 4 よりも大径のパネ室 5 4 cとを、 連続状に形成しており、 該バ ネ室 5 4 cをシリンダ室 1 0 cに対して開放している。 また、 該ボルトガイ ド凹 部 5 4 bの長手方向の途中部において、 該ピストン 5 4に環状溝 5 4 aを形成し ている。 これは、 前述の環状溝 4 4 aに相当し、 ピン 4 1の第二ピン部 4 1 bの 先端を該環状溝 5 4 a内に嵌入する。
このように、 ピス トン 5 4は、 一端のみをバネ室 5 4 cとして開口しており、 該ボルトガイ ド凹部 5 4 bにボル卜頭部 5 8 aを摺動自在に配して、 一本の調節 ボルト 5 8を該ボルトガイ ド凹部 5 4 bからパネ室 5 4 cを通って、 その先端部 を、 一方のキャップ 4 9に螺合揷通させて外部に突出し、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 cの場合と同様にロックナツ ト 5 2にて締止されている。
パネ室 5 4内にて、 調節ボルト 5 8は、 ボルト頭部 5 8 aよりも小径の中径部 5 8 bカ^ 筒状に形成した第一パネ受け 5 5 a内を摺動自在に挿通されている。 更に、 中径部 5 8 bより外方に、 該中径部 5 8 bよりも小径の小径部 5 8 cが、 前述のロックナツ ト 5 2が螺装される先端まで形成されており、 該小径部 5 8 b は、 該バネ室 5 4 c内にて、 第二パネ受け 5 5 bを摺動自在に貫通しており、 該 バネ室 5 4の開口端付近にて、 該ピス トン 5 4の内周部に固定された止め輪 5 7 が第二パネ受け 5 5のストッパーとなっている。 そして、 該バネ室 5 4 c内にて 圧縮状態のパネ 5 6力く、 第一パネ受け 5 5 aと第二パネ受け 5 5 bとの間にて介 装されている。 このパネ 5 6の付勢力により、 初期状態において、 第 2 4図の如 く、 第一パネ受け 5 5 aは、 該バネ室 5 4 cの端面、 即ち、 該バネ室 5 4 cと該 ボル卜ガイ ド凹部 5 4 との段差部に押接しており、 該第二パネ受け 5 5 bは、 止め輪 5 7に押接している。
止め輪 5 7に押接した状態の第二パネ受け 5 5 bに隣接して、 パネ室 5 4 cの 外側にて、 該調節ボルト 5 8の小径部 5 8 cには、 ストッパーナツ ト 5 3 aが摺 動自在に環設されているとともに、 調節ナツ 卜 5 3 bが該ス卜ツバナツ 卜 5 3 a に隣接して螺装されており、 ピストン 5 4がロックナッ ト 5 2配設位置側へと移 動する場合における第二パネ受け 5 5 bのストッパーとして機能する。
前述の中立位置保持機構 1 1 cのピス トン 4 4の環状溝 4 4 a (ピン 4 1の第 二ピン部 4 1 bを挟持する) が、 二本のパネ 4 6によってその両側から付勢力を 受けて、 その釣合いの位置にて保持されていたのに対し、 本実施例の中立位置保 持機構 1 1 dにおけるビストン 5 4は、 該環状溝 5 4 aの一側にて配設される一 本のパネ 5 6の付勢力による第一パネ受け 5 5 aと第二バネ受け 5 5 bとの釣合 い状態にて保持され、 環状溝 5 4 aに挟持するピン 4 1の位置を保持する。
このように釣り合つている時の環状溝 5 4 aの位置が、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは
2 2 cの中立位置に正確に対応するピン 4 1の位置に対してずれている場合に、 ロックナツ 卜 5 2を緩め、 調節ボルト 5 8を回転させてその軸芯方向に移動させ ることにより、 環状溝 5 4 aの位置を調節できる。
環状溝 5 4 aを、 第 2 4図において下方に移動させたい場合には、 ロックナツ 卜 5 2を緩めた状態にて、 該調節ボルト 5 8をボルト頭部 5 8 a側に移動させる 、 該バネ 5 6の付勢力にて、 この調節ボルト 5 8の動きと一体にビストン 5 4 も移動する。
逆に、 環状溝 5 4 aを、 第 2 4図において上方に移動させたい場合には、 スト ッパナッ ト 5 2を緩めた状態の調節ボルト 5 8を反ボルト頭部 5 8 a側に移動さ せる力く、 この時、 ス卜ツバナツ ト 5 3 a及び調節ナツ 卜 5 3 bも該調節ボル卜 5 8と一体に移動し、 また、 ボルト頭部 5 8 aが第一パネ受け 5 5 aを該上方へと 押動するので、 バネ 5 6の付勢力で、 第二パネ受け 5 5 bも止め輪 5 7と圧接し たまま、 該上方へと移動し、 ロックナツ 卜 5 3 aに当接する。 このようにして、 止め輪 5 7が第二バネ受け 5 5 bにより上方に押動されるので、 該止め輪 5 7と 一体のビストン 5 4力く、 調節ボルト 5 8の動きに追従して、 第 2 4図における上 方に移動するのである。 最終的に適当な位置でロックナツ ト 5 2を締めることで 環状溝 5 4 aの位置合わせを終了する。
このように構成した中立位置保持機構 1 I dは、 複動式ピストンを備え、 シリ ンダ室における該ピストンを挟む両油圧室にそれぞれ圧油を供給する電磁比例弁 である自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1を二個備えている点で、 前述の中立位置保持 機構 1 1 cと同様であるが、 調節ボル卜やパネが一つであって部品点数が少なく なっており、 また、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 cの場合、 環状溝 4 4 aの位置を正し いピン 4 1の中立位置に合わせるのに、 二本の調節ボル卜 4 8を回動操作する必 要があつたが、 本実施例の中立位置保持機構 1 1 dは、 一本の調節ボルト 5 8の 回動操作だけですむ。
操作レバ一 2 0の回動操作によりピストン 5 4を第 2 4図の上方に移動させる 場合、 調節ボル卜 5 8、 ストッパナッ ト 5 3 a及び調節ナッ ト 5 3 bは位置固定 されているので、 第二バネ受け 5 5 bは初期位置に保持され、 第一パネ受け 5 5 a力く、 ピス トン 5 4のボルトガイ ド凹部 5 4 bとバネ室 5 4 cとの間の段差部に 押されて、 パネ 5 6に抗してビストン 5 4と一体に右方に移動する。 前述のよう に、 第一バネ受け 5 5 aは筒状となっていて、 その右端が、 位置固定されている 第二パネ受け 5 5 bに押接すると、 それ以上はビストン 5 4を右方に移動できな くなる。
また、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作によりピス トン 5 4を第 2 4図の下方に移動 させる場合、 第一バネ受け 5 5 aは、 調節ボル卜 5 8のボルト頭部 5 8 aに押接 していて移動せず、 第二バネ受け 5 5 b力く、 該ピス トン 5 4と一体の止め輪 5 7 に押されて、 パネ 5 6に抗してビストン 5 4と一体に下方に移動する。 該第二バ ネ受け 5 5 bカ^ 該第一パネ受け 5 5 aの上端に押接するか、 或いは、 調節ボル ト 5 8の中径部 5 8 bの上端面 (中径部 5 8 bと小径部 5 8 c との段差部) に押 接するかした位置が、 ピス トン 5 4の左方移動制限位置となる。
このように、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 dには、 ピス トン 5 4、 即ちピン 4 1の移 動範囲を制限して可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cの最大制限回動角度を設定するた めの回動制限機構を、 両バネ受け 5 5 a · 5 5 b、 また、 調節ボルト 5 8の中径 部 5 8 bと小径部 5 8 cとの段差部で構成している。
二つの自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のシリンダ室 1 0 cにおけるピス トン 5 4 の両側の油圧室への圧油供給制御については、 中立位置保持機構 1 0 cにおける 前述のものと同様であり、 それに伴うビストン 5 4の動きに伴うパネ室 5 5 a . 5 5 bやパネ 5 6の状態や、 該ピストン 5 4の移動規制構造 (回動制限機構) に ついては、 操作レバー 2 0の回動操作による前述の動きと同様であるので、 ここ では省略する。
次に、 第 2 6図に示される、 中立位置保持機構 1 1 eと、 該中立位置保持機構 1 1 eを介して斜板角度を制御する自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1の構造について 説明する。 特に説明のない構成要素については、 前述の中立位置保持機構 1 1 c や 1 1 dと同様である。
中立位置保持機構 1 1 eは、 実質的に、 第 2 0図及び第 2 1図に示される中立 位置保持機構 1 1 cより、 片方のパネ受け 4 5、 パネ 4 6及び固定パネ受け 5 0 を取り除いた構造となっている。 即ち、 ピス トン 4 4において、 ピン 4 1に嵌合 させる環状溝 4 4 aの各側に形成されるボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bと、 シリ ンダ室 1 0 cの各開口端を塞ぐキャップ 4 9との間に、 軸芯方向に位置調節可能に調節 ボルト 4 8が橫架支持されているが、 パネ受け 4 5、 パネ 4 6、 及び固定バネ受 け 5 0を、 片方の (第 2 6図では下側の) 調節ボルト 4 8のみに巻装 .環設して いる。
更に、 第 2 6図において、 シリンダ室 1 0 c内のピス トン 4 4の上側の油圧室 のみに圧油を供給可能に、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1は、 一個のみケーシング 1 0に付設されている。
従って、 第 2 6図のように、 ピストン 4 4の下側にバネ受け 4 5、 バネ 4 6、 固定バネ受け 5 0を配設しているとすると、 中立保持状態においては、 パネ 4 6 の付勢力にて、 バネ受け 4 5が (第 2 6図で下側の) 調節ボルト 4 8のボルト頭 部 4 8 aと、 ピス トン 4 4の下側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 b .バネ室 4 4 c間の 段差部とに押当した状態であり、 ビス トン 4 4は上方に付勢されている。
このバネ 4 6による上向きの付勢力に対向する下向きの付勢力は、 本実施例で は、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1にてスプール 1 2の油路 1 2 b · 1 2 cを介し て送油されるポンプポート 1 0 dからの圧油の油圧にて生じさせている。
従って、 中立状態において、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1のコイル 6 4にはあ る程度の電流が流されて、 該スプール 1 2のチップ 1 2 aを臨ませているシリン ダ室 1 0 cの上側油圧室の油圧を、 該バネ 4 6の付勢力に対向して、 環状溝 4 4 aが適正位置になるような値に設定しているのである。
ピス トン 4 4は、 操作レバ一 2 0を回動操作する力、、 或いは自動斜板角度制御 バルブ 6 1のコイル 6 4への電流値を調節して、 シリンダ室 1 0 c内への圧油供 袷量を増減させることにより移動させることができる。 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1による場合は、 電流値を中立設定用電流値より大きく し、 シリンダ室 1 0 c 内への圧油供給量を増加させることにより、 その増加量に比例して第 2 6図にお けるピス トン 4 4を中立位置から下方に移動させ、 また、 電流値を中立設定値よ りも小さく して該圧油供給量を低'减することにより、 その低減量に比例して該ピ ストン 4 4を中立位置から上方に移動させることができる。 なお、 第 2 6図においては、 上側の調節ボルト 4 8のボルト頭部 4 8 a力く、 ピ ストン 4 4の右側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bの最奥端面に押接している様子が示 されているが、 これは、 ピストン 4 4の上方への最大移動位置を示すものであつ て、 これにより、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cの最大斜板角度を現出している。 また、 パネ 4 6に抗してビストン 4 4を下方に移動する際には、 ピス トン 4 4 の下側のボルトガイ ド凹部 4 4 bの最奥端面が、 下側の調節ボルト 4 8のボルト 頭部 4 8 aに押接する位置を、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 cの反対側への最大斜 板角度を現出するビストン 4 4の下方への最大移動位置としている。
このように、 第 2 6図に示す実施例においては、 可動斜板 2 1 cまたは 2 2 c の中立位置を保持するのに、 パネの付勢力だけでなく、 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1による油圧制御を利用しており、 ケーシング 1 0に付設する自動斜板角度制 御バルブ 6 1を一個とし、 また、 シリンダ室 1 0 c内に配設するバネ 4 6を一個 とする等、 部品点数の削減を実現するものとなっている。
第 2 0図及び第 2 1図等に示す中立位置保持機構 1 1 cや、 第 2 6図に示す中 立位置保持機構 1 1 eに使用されるピス トン 4 4の回り止めを行うことで、 環状 溝 4 4 aに嵌入されるピン 4 1にピストン 4 4の軸芯回りのモーメン卜が加わる ことが防止され、 ピン 4 1を介してのビストン 4 4とのスプール 7 2の連動を円 滑にすることができる。 そこで、 第 2 7図及び第 2 8図のように、 ピストン 4 4 の回り止め手段として、 環状溝 4 4 aの一部より、 該ピストン 4 4の径方向の突 起部 4 4 dを形成し、 ケーシング 1 0には、 該突起部 4 4 dの径と略同一の大き さの幅の案内溝 1 0 hを形成して、 該突起部 4 4 dを該案内溝 1 0 hに摺動自在 に嵌入している。 ピス トン 4 4の軸芯方向の移動に際しては、 突起部 4 4 dが案 内溝 1 0 h内で該ピストン 4 4の軸芯方向に正確に直線移動するので、 該ピスト ン 4 4は、 外周方向に回動することなく、 正確に直線移動し、 環状溝 4 4 a内に 嵌入されるピストン 4 1 (第二ピン部 4 1 b ) に、 ピストン 4 4の軸芯回りの回 動による無理な力が加わることがない。
また、 ピン 4 1そのものをビストン 4 4と一体化して、 該ピン 4 1自体をビス トン 4 4の軸芯方向に沿って直線移動するように案内する方法も考えられる。 第 2 9図に示すピス トン 4 4 ' は、 環状溝 4 4 aに代えて、 該ピス トン 4 4 ' の径 方向に、 ピン 4 Γ と略同一口径の孔を穿孔し、 該孔に、 ピン 4 1に代わるピン 4 Γ を嵌入している。 即ち、 ピン 4 Γ をピス トン 4 4 ' に対して一体状にな るように取り付けている。 なお、 ピン 4 Γ に相当するピン部をピス トン 4 4 ' に一体成形にて突設してもよい。 更に、 ケーシング 1 0においては、 前述の回動 支点軸 2 5を中心とするピン 4 1の回動を許容する案内溝 1 0 gに代え、 第 3 0 図及び第 3 1図に示すように、 ピン 4 1 ' の径と略同一の大きさの幅を有する案 内溝 1 0 iが穿設されている。
このように、 ピストン 4 4 ' と、 スプール作動部材としてのピン 4 Γ とを一 体状にすることで、 剛体としての強度が高まり、 更には、 案内溝 1 0 iにてピン 1 ' をガイ ドすることで、 第 2 0図等で示すビストン 4 4の環状溝 4 4 aとピ ン 4 1 ' との間で嵌合する部分で生ずる摺動方向のずれや軸廻りの回転によるず れを解消できて、 ピン 4 1 ' を正確に直線的に移動でき、 スプール 7 2への動力 の伝達効率が高まる。
なお、 ピン 4 1 ' は、 ピス トン 4 4 ' の直線移動に伴い、 それと一体に直線移 動するので、 前述のように回動支点軸 2 5回りに回動する支持アーム 2 6に固設 すると、 ピン 4 1 ' 及びビストン 4 4 ' の移動を妨げる。 そこで、 第 3 0図のよ うに、 支持アーム 2 6を除去し、 オーバーストローク吸収機構である捩じりパネ 4 0と連動アーム 2 7のみを付設する。 或いは、 第 3 1図のように、 オーバ一ス トローク吸収機構としての捩じりパネ 4 0や連動アーム 2 7を除去し、 支持ァー ム 2 6に代えて、 フォーク 1 0 6を回動支点軸 2 5に相対回動自在に装着し、 該 フォーク 1 0 6にて、 ピストン 4 4 ' と一体状のピン 4 1 ' の直線移動が可能な ようにピン 4 Γ を挟持するものとしてもよい。
なお、 第 2 7図及び第 2 8図のビストンの回り止め構造、 また、 第 2 9図乃至 第 3 1図のビストンとピンとを一体化する構造については、 第 2 4図に示す中立 位置保持機構 1 1 dに用いられるピストン 5 4においても適用可能である。 自動斜板角度制御バルブ 6 1としての電磁比例弁を付設し、 該電磁比例弁にて 油圧制御される中立位置保持機構 1 1 ( 1 1 c · 1 1 d · 1 1 eのいずれか) を 内装したケ一シング 1 0を含む斜板制御用油圧サーボ機構については、 H S T 2 のような油圧ポンプ ·油圧モータともに可変容積型として、 油圧ポンプ ·油圧モ —夕それぞれに付設するだけでなく、 H S T 1のように、 油圧ポンプ (或いは油 圧モータ) のみを可変容積型とする H S Tにおいて、 油圧ポンプ (或いは油圧モ —夕) のみに付設するものとしてもよい。 一方、 前述の中立位置保持機構 1 1 a 或いは 1 1 bを含む油圧サーボ機構を、 H S T 2のように油圧ポンプ .油圧モー 夕ともに可変容量型である H S Tにおいて、 油圧ポンプ ·油圧モータそれぞれに 付設してもよい。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のような本発明は、 油圧サーボ機構にて斜板を位置制御するタィプの油圧 式無段変速装置であって、 例えばトラクタ等の車両に適用されるもの、 特には、 手動操作に加えて、 ェンジンの負荷や車両の足回り負荷等の状況に応じての自動 制御を可能とするものにおいて、 正確な制御をなし、 コンパク 卜かつ低コス トな 斜板角度制御機構を提供するものである。

1 . 油圧式無段変速装置の本体ハウジング内に斜板角度を制御する油圧サーボ機 構が内設され、 該油圧サーボ機構を操作するための手動操作部材が該本体ハウジ ングの外部に配設されている構造において、 該手動操作部材と該本体ハウジング との間にケ一シングを配設し、 該ケーシング内に、 可動斜板の中立位置を保持す るための中立位置保持機構、 及び、 該可動斜板の最大回動角を規制する回動制限 機構を内装していることを特徴とする油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
2 . 前記ケーシング内から前記本体ハウジング内にかけて、 前記手動操作部材の オーバ一ストロ一クを吸収するォ一バーストローク吸収機構を内装していること を特徵とする請求の範囲第 1項記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
3 . 前記油圧サーボ機構は、 油圧バルブとしてのスプールを備えており、 前記ケ —シング内から前記本体ハウジング内にかけて、 前記手動操作部材の操作によつ て移動するスプール作動部材が該スプールと一体状に移動可能に配設されており 、 前記ケーシング内にて、 前記スプール作動部材と略同一幅の位置決め部材を配 設しており、 該位置決め部材と該スプール作動部材の両方を、 互いに対向する方 向の付勢力を受ける一対の押圧部材により両側から挟み込むことにより、 該スプ ール作動部材を可動斜板の中立位置に対応する位置に保持して、 中立位置保持機 構を構成していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項または第 2項記載の油圧式 無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
4 . 前記押圧部材は、 パネの付勢力を受けて、 前記位置決め部材に対して進退自 在なパネ受けであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 3項記載の油圧式無段変速装 置の斜板角度制御機構。
5 . 前記中立位置保持機構の構成部材として、 前記位置決め部材を具備するロッ ドを設け、 該ロッ ドの軸芯方向に沿って前記押圧部材を移動可能に配設し、 該押 圧部材が付勢力に抗して前記位置決め部材より遠ざかる方向に移動するのを規制 すべく、 該押圧部材に押当可能な段差部を該ロッ ドに形成して、 前記回動制限機 構としていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 3項記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜 板角度制御機構。
6 . 前記中立位置保持機構において、 前記ロッ ドは、 通常において位置固定され ており、 前記の両側からの付勢力にて両押圧部材に挟持される時の前記位置決め 部材の位置を調節する時に、 該ケーシングの外部からの操作で、 該ロッ ドを軸芯 方向に移動可能としていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 5項記載の油圧式無段 変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
7 . 前記ケ一シング内に流体が充塡されており、 前記各バネ受けには、 前記各バ ネの配設される空間と前記位置決め部材の配設される空間との間を流体連通する オリフィ スを形成していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 4項記載の油圧式無段 変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
8 . 前記中立位置保持機構をカートリ ッジとして一体的に構成して、 前記ケーシ ングに着脱可能に内装していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項または第 2項 記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
9 . 前記ケーシング内に圧油が充塡されているとともに、 該ケーシングに電磁比 例弁を付設し、 該電磁比例弁の前記中立位置保持機構に対する圧油供給制御によ り、 前記スプール作動部材を移動制御することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項ま たは第 2項記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
1 0 . 前記中立位置保持機構は、 前記スプール作動部材と嵌合するピストンと、 該ピストンの両側に配設される一対の付勢部材とを前記ケーシング内に配設して なっていて、 該一対の付勢部材による両側からの付勢にて該ピストンを保持する ことにより、 該スプール作動部材を可動斜板の中立位置に対応する位置に保持す る構成としており、 前記電磁比例弁は一対設けられていて、 その各々は、 該ピス トンの両側の油圧室の各々に対しての圧油供給制御を行うものとしていることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第 9項記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
1 1 . 前記中立位置保持機構は、 前記スプール作動部材と嵌合するピス トンと、 該ピストンの一側に配設される付勢部材とを、 前記ケーシング内に配設してなつ ており、 該ピス トンの他側に油圧室を形成して、 該油圧室に対し一個の前記電磁 比例弁により圧油供給制御がなされるものとしており、 一側の該付勢部材の付勢 力と該他側の圧油の油圧との約合いにて該ピストンを保持することにより、 該ス プール作動部材を可動斜板の中立位置に対応する位置に保持する構成としている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第 9項記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機
1 2 . 前記ピス トンをその軸芯方向に沿ってのみ移動するように案内する案内手 段を設けていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1 0項または第 1 1項記載の油圧 式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
1 3 . 前記ピス トンに、 前記スプール作動部材を一体的に設けていることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第 1 0項乃至第 1 2項いずれかに記載の油圧式無段変速装置の 斜板角度制御機構。
1 . 前記油圧式無段変速装置の油圧ポンプ及び油圧モータの両方を可変容量型 とし、 前記油圧サーボ機構は、 該油圧ポンプ及び該油圧モータのそれぞれの可動 斜板角度の制御用であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項乃至第 1 3項いずれ かに記載の油圧式無段変速装置の斜板角度制御機構。
