Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Datenträger mit mindestens einem Sicherheitsmerkmal (100) und mindestens einer Speichervorrichtung, ein Verfahren zur Ermittlung der Zusammengehörigkeit von einer Speichervorrichtung und einem Datenträger, der mit einer Speichervorrichtung versehen ist, eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines Datenträgers, eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens und ein Sicherheitselement (100) für Datenträger. Zur Überprüfung der Zusammengehörigkeit eines Datenträgers und einer dem Datenträger zugeordneten Speichervorrichtung wird vorgeschlagen, daß das Sicherheitsmerkmal (100) vorzugweise überwiegend von Datenträger zu Datenträger variiert, und daß mindestens eine das Sicherheitsmerkmal (100) kennzeichnende Information in der zum Datenträger zugehörigen Speichervorrichtung gespeichert ist.
