アンテナおよびそれを用いた無線装置
技術分野
本発明は、 移動体通信などに使用される無線装置に搭載されるアンテ ナおよびそれを用いた無線装置に関するものである。 背景技術
近年、 移動体通信用の無線装置に対する需要の高まりとともに、 その 通信形態が多様化し、 1台の無線装置で複数の通信形態に対応できる高 性能で小型軽量な無線装置が市場に登場することが望まれている。 し たがって、 これらの無線装置に搭載するアンテナの開発が必然的に要望 されている。
このような移動体通信の代表例は携帯電話システムであり、 世界各地 域で広く使用され、 その使用周波数帯域も地域によって異なっている。 例えば、 デジタル式の携帯電話システムの使用周波数帯域は、 日本の Personal Digital Cellular 800 (PDC800)では、 810 一 960 MHzであり、 欧米の Group Special Mobile Communi ty (GSM)では、 890 - 960 MHz. Personal Communication Network(PCN) ¾¾ 1, 710-1, 880 MHz, Personal Communication System (PCS)では、 1, 850 - 1,990 MHz といった具合で ある。 このような携帯電話システムに対応した携帯電話機に搭載され た内蔵用のアンテナとしては、 従来板状逆 F型アンテナが一般に広く使 用されている。 その代表例を図 2 6および図 2 7を用いて説明する。 図 2 6は従来のアンテナの斜視図、 図 2 7はそのアンテナを内蔵した 携帯電話機の背面の一部を切除した斜視図である。 図 2 6において、 例えば、 材厚 0. 2 mm の銅合金板製で大きさが約 35 mmX 45 醒 のアン テナ素子 1の下方に、 アンテナ素子 1と 9 nun の間隔を保って材厚 0. 2 mm の銅合金板製の接地導体板 2が平行に配置され、 図 2 6、 図 2 7に は示していないが、 A B S , P P Oなどの樹脂性誘電体材料製の保持部 材によってアンテナ素子 1が接地導体板 2に固着されている。 アンテ ナ素子 1の一端に形成された第 1端子 3が接地導体板 2と半田付けなど の方法で電気的に接続される。 アンテナ素子 1の第 1端子 3近傍の給電 点 4に第 2端子 5が形成され、 接地導体板 2とは電気的に接触しないよ うに孔 6を貫通して接地導体板 2下方に突出させてアンテナ 7を構成し ている。 一方、 図 2 7に示すように、 アンテナ 7は、 携帯電話 8のリ ァケース 9内に配設される。 図 2 7には示していないがアンテナ Ίの接 地導体板 2が携帯電話 8のリァケース 9内面に形成された金属製シール ド部に電気的に接続され、 そしてアンテナ 7の第 2端子 5が携帯電話 8 のリァケース 9の内側に配設された高周波回路基板上の高周波回路部に 圧接などの方法により電気的に接続されている。
以上のように構成されたアンテナ 7およびそれを用いた携帯電話 8に ついて、 以下にその動作を説明する。
ァンテナ 7のアンテナ素子 1に形成された第 1端子 3は誘導性ラインで, 第 1端子 3部分を除くアンテナ素子 1の給電点 4から見た他の部分は容 量性ラインを形成している。 アンテナ素子 1の周囲長さ L 1、 L 2、 第 1端子 3の幅 L 3および第 1端子 3と給電点 4との距離 L 4は、 所望の 周波数帯域においてアンテナ素子 1の給電点 4から見たアンテナ 7の入 力インピーダンスに所望の値を与えるように決定される。 入力インピ —ダンスは給電点 4の位置、 すなわち L 3および L 4によって定まり、 所望の周波数帯域において高周波回路の入出力インピーダンスである 5 0 Ωに整合を取ることができる。 携帯電話 8の送受信時には、 アンテ ナ素子 1によって送受信された所望の周波数帯域の信号電力は、 アンテ ナ素子 1に形成された第 2端子 5を通して携帯電話 8のリアケース 9に 内蔵された高周波回路部に入出力される。 このような板状逆 F型アン テナの詳細技術説明は、 「新ァンテナ工学 J I S B N 4— 9 1 5 4 4 9— 8 0— 7の 1 0 9— 1 1 4頁、 その他多数の技術論文、 書籍などで公知 である。 これらによれば、 板状逆 F型アンテナは小型、 高利得、 広い 指向性放射パターンなどが求められる携帯電話機のアンテナとして適し ており、 機器の筐体に内蔵して比較的に小型薄型化を図ることができる だけでなく機器のデザィンに自由度を与えることができるという利点が ある。 また、 アンテナの内蔵化により、 非内蔵のものに比して筐体に よって機械的な衝撃から保護されるためにアンテナが機械的損傷を受け ることはほとんどなくアンテナの長寿命化を図ることができるという利 点もある。
しかしながら、 このような従来のアンテナは、 その電気的特性の重要 な 1つである動作周波数帯域が最大でも 3 %程度の比帯域幅しかなく、 それを改善するためには形状を大きくせざるを得なくなり、 市場の要求 に対応できるような小型薄型、 広帯域かつ高感度の内蔵タイプのアンテ ナとして使用するには無理がある。 また、 小型薄型化を犠牲にして広 帯域化、 高感度化を図ったとしてもアンテナと高周波回路部との間に複 雑なインピーダンス整合回路を必要とし、 携帯電話機の低価格化の障害 となるという課題を有していた。 発明の開示
本発明はこのような従来の課題を鑑みて、 小型薄型で、 広帯域化、 高感 度化、 マルチパンド化されるとともにインピーダンス整合が簡単でした がって生産性の高い機器内蔵型のアンテナおよびそれを用いた低価格で 通話品質の良好な無線装置を提供することを目的とする。
上記目的を達成するために本発明のアンテナは、 接地導体板とその接 地導体板と離間して前記接地導体板上に配した少なくとも一部が略螺旋 状の導体から成るアンテナ素子と、 そのアンテナ素子の端部と前記接地 導体板を電気的に接続するスタブと、 その端部から所定の距離を隔てた アンテナ素子上の給電点と外部回路とを電気的に接続する給電線とを備 え、 上記アンテナ素子は誘電体材料製の保持部材によって接地導体板上 に固着された逆 F型アンテナである。
本発明のアンテナは、 以下に示すような多くの態様を有する。
( 1)接地導体板上に配したアンテナ素子の少なくとも一部が略メアンダ 状の導体である。
( 2)接地導体板上に配したアンテナ素子の少なくとも一部が略螺旋状お よび略メアンダ状の導体である。
( 3) アンテナ素子のスタブ、 アンテナ素子、 給電線のうちの少なくとも 一部が直線状の導体である。
( ) アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部が直線状の導体である。
( 5) アンテナ素子の近傍に少なくとも 1つの無給電アンテナ素子を配す る。
( 6)その無給電アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部を略螺旋状の導体で構成 する。
( 7)その無給電アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部を略メアンダ状の導体で 構成する。
( 8)その無給電アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部を直線状の導体で形成す る。
( 9) アンテナ素子上の所定の点でアンテナ素子を屈曲させる。
(10) アンテナ素子の端部以外の部分に分岐したアンテナ素子を設ける。
(1 1 ) 分岐したアンテナ素子の少なくとも一部が略螺旋状または略メァ ンダ状の導体で構成する。
(1 2) アンテナ素子に接続されたスタブおよび給電線の少なくとも一方 の少なくとも一部を略螺旋状または略メアンダ状の導体で構成する。
(13) アンテナ素子を 2つ設け、 それらを互いに逆相で給電する。
(14) 接地導体板を無線装置の接地金属体と共用する。
本発明によれば、 アンテナ素子が略螺旋状または略メアンダ状の導体 であるのでアンテナ素子の一端から給電点までの距離およびの導体の太 さ、 長さ、 螺旋ゃメアンダのピッチなどの設定が容易にできるので、 所 望の周波数帯域に対応したインピーダンス整合を簡単に得ることができ て、アンテナとしての広帯域化、マルチパンド化、高感度化ができる。 ま た、 略螺旋状または略メアンダ状の導体を使用するので小型 ·薄型で簡 単な構造を有し、 高生産性を有するアンテナが得られる。 なお、 上記 の各態様のアンテナを搭載した無線装置および 2つのアンテナを搭載し てダイパ一シチ通信を行わせる無線装置も本発明に属する。 図面の簡単な説明

以下、 本発明の実施例について図 1 一図 2 5を用いて説明する。
(実施例 1 )
図 1は本発明の実施例 1におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1にお いて、 アンテナ素子 1 1は、 銅、 銅合金、 アルミ合金、 ステンレス合金 などの導電金属製または、 それに A u, N iなどの導電性金属メツキを 施した帯状または線状導体を螺旋状にした (以降、 螺旋状素子、 または 螺旋状素子部とも称する) 素子であり、 所望の周波数帯域に対応する電 気長を有する。 螺旋状素子 1 1の一端は開放され他端はスタブ 1 2を 介して接地導体板 1 5に接地されている。 スタブ 1 2の近傍の給電点 1 3は給電線 1 4に接続される。 接地導体板 1 5は、 アンテナ素子 1 1の螺旋の中心軸と所定の間隔を保って平行になるように配し、 図 1に は示していないが、 所定の誘電率と低い誘電損失を有した樹脂材料を用 いてィンサ一ト成形などで形成された保持部材によって螺旋状素子 1 1 と接地導体板 1 5とが固着されている。 なお、 図 1では、 アンテナ主 部 1 0は螺旋状素子 1 1, スタブ 1 2および給電線 1 4からなることを 表している (アンテナの構成要素のうち接地導体板 1 5を除いた部分を 表している)。
スタブ 1 2は接地導体板 1 5に半田付け、 力シメ、 圧入などの方法によ り電気的に接続される。 給電点 1 3は、 螺旋状素子 1 1が所望の周波 数帯域で動作する位置に設定され、 給電線 1 4は、 接地導体板 1 5に電 気的に接触しないように、 接地導体板 1 5に設けられた孔 1 6を貫通し ている。 なお、 図 1には示していないが、 接地導体板 1 5は携帯電話 機に形成された接地導体板またはグランドラインに圧着などの方法によ り電気的に接続され、 給電線 1 4も携帯電話機の高周波回路部の入出力 端子に圧着などの方法により電気的に接続される。
以上のように構成されたアンテナ 1 7について、 以下にその動作を説 明する。
- アンテナ主部 1 0と、 給電用孔 1 6を有する接地導体板 1 5とで構成さ れたアンテナ 1 7は、 通常、 逆 F型アンテナと呼ばれているアンテナと 同じ構造となり、 所望の動作周波数帯域において所望のインピーダンス 特性が得られるように、 スタブ 1 2と給電点 1 3との間の長さ L 1と給 電点 1 3から開放端までの長さ L 2が決定される。 入力インピーダン スは、 給電点 1 3の位置に関係し、 その位置を適当に選ぶことにより、 所望の動作周波数帯域においてほぼ携帯電話機の高周波回路の入出力ィ ンピ一ダンス(5 0 Ω )に整合させることができる。 この場合、 螺旋状 素子 1 1の中心軸と接地導体板 1 5とが平行に配置されているため、 螺 旋状素子 1 1と接地導体板 1 5との間に静電容量が生じ、 その結果、 ァ ンテナ 1 7の入力インピ一ダンスに容量性リアクタンスが付加され、 ァ ンテナ 1 7の動作周波数を高くするが、 給電点 1 3の位置を調整するこ とにより誘導性リアクタンスを付加することができ、 その容量性リアク タンスを相殺できるので、 入力インピーダンスを 5 0 Ωのインピーダン スに整合させることができる。 また、 このアンテナで送受信される所 望の周波数帯域の信号電力は、 給電線 1 4を介して携帯電話機の高周波 回路に入出力されることは明らかである。
このように本実施例によれば、 スタブ 1 2と給電点 1 3との距離およ び螺旋状素子 1 1の太さ、長さ、螺旋のピッチなどの設定が容易にでき、 所望の周波数帯域に対応した所望のインピーダンス特性が簡単に得るこ とができる。 したがって、 アンテナの広帯域化および高感度化が達成 できるとともに小型化をも図ることができる。
なお、 上記のアンテナ 1 7の導体部分を、 印刷、 焼結、 重ね合せ、 メ ツキなどの各種の形成方法により構成してもよく、 また各種の樹脂性誘 電体材料の組合せで保持部材を形成してもよい。
(実施例 2 )
図 2は本発明の実施例 2におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 2にお いて、 アンテナ主部 1 8は、 アンテナ素子 1 9をメアンダ状のアンテナ 素子 (以降、 メアンダ状素子、 またはメアンダ状素子部とも称する) で 構成している点を除けば、 上記の実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 2 0を構成 する。
この構成により、 スタブ 1 2と給電点 1 3との距離およびメアンダ状 素子 1 9の線幅、 長さ、 ピッチなどを調整することにより所望の周波数 帯域において所望のィンピ一ダンス特性を簡単に得ることができる。 したがって、 アンテナの広帯域化および高感度化が達成できるとともに 小型化をも図ることができる。 さらに、 実施例 1で用いた螺旋状のァ ンテナ素子でなく、 メアンダ状のアンテナ素子を用いることにより、 ァ ンテナのより一層の薄型化をも図ることもできる。
(実施例 3 )
図 3は本発明の実施例 3におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 3にお いて、 アンテナ主部 2 1は、 アンテナ素子を螺旋状素子部 1 1とメアン ダ状素子部 1 9とで構成されている点を除けば、 上記の実施例 1および 実施例 2と同様にアンテナ 2 2を構成する。 この構成により、 スタブ 1 2と給電点 1 3との距離および螺旋状素子 部 1 1とメアンダ状素子部 1 9の線幅、 長さ、 ピッチなどを調整するこ とにより所望の周波数帯域において所望のインピーダンス特性を得るた めの微細な調整を簡単に行うことができる。 したがって、 アンテナの より精度の高い広帯域化および高感度化ができる。 この実施例' 3では、 アンテナ素子 2 1を螺旋状素子部 1 1とメアンダ状素子部 1 9との組合 せとして形成することで、 アンテナのより柔軟な小型化および薄型化設 計ができる。
なお、 本実施例で螺旋状素子部とメアンダ状素子部の位置を入れ換え ても同様の効果が得られる。
(実施例 4 )
図 4は本発明の実施例 4におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 4にお いて、 アンテナ主部 2 4は、 アンテナ素子をスタブ 1 2と給電点 1 3と の間を直線状の線状導体としたことを除けば、 上記の実施例 1と同様に アンテナ 2 5を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナの広帯域化、 高感度化、 小型化に加えて設 計自由度を上げることができる。 (実施例 5 )
図 5は本発明の実施例 5におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 5にお いて、 アンテナ主部 2 6は、 スタブ 1 2と給電点 1 3との間を直線状の 線状導体としたことを除けば、 上記の実施例 2と同様にアンテナ 2 7を 構成する。 この構成により、 アンテナの広帯域化、 高感度化、 小型 化に加えて設計自由度を上げることができる。 (実施例 6 )
図 6は本発明の実施例 6におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 6にお いて、 アンテナ主要部 2 8は、 アンテナ素子の開放端側の一部を直線状 の線状導体としたことを除けば、 上記の実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 2 9 を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナの広帯域化、 高感度化、 小型化に加えて設 計自由度を上げることができる。 (実施例 7 )
図 7は本発明の実施例 7におけるアンテナの要部構成を表す。 図 7 において、 アンテナ主部 3 0は、 アンテナ素子をスタブ 1 2側から順に 螺旋状、 直線状、 メアンダ状のアンテナ素子部を連結して形成したこと を除けば、 上記の実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 3 1を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナの広帯域化、 高感度化、 小型化に加えて設 計自由度をより上げることができるとともに、 インピーダンス特性の微 細な調整もできる。
(実施例 8 )
図 8は本発明の実施例 8におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 8にお いて、 アンテナ主部 3 2は、 アンテナ素子をスタブ 1 2側から順に螺旋 状、直線状、螺旋状のアンテナ素子部を連結して形成したことを除けば、 上記の実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 3 4を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナの広帯域化、 高感度化、 小型化に加えて設 計自由度をより上げることができるとともに、 インピーダンス特性の微 細な調整もできる。 (実施例 9 )
図 9は本発明の実施例 9におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 9.にお いて、 直線部 2 3に給電点 1 3を設けたことを除けば、 上記の実施例 8 と同様にアンテナ 3 6が構成されている。
この構成により、 アンテナの広帯域化、 高感度化、 小型化に加えて設 計自由度をより上げることができるとともに、 インピーダンス特性の微 細な調整もできる。
(実施例 1 0 )
図 1 0は本発明の実施例 1 0におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 0において、 アンテナ主要部 3 7は、 アンテナ素子 1 1の螺旋内に略螺 旋状の無給電アンテナ素子 3 8を配設して構成したことを除けば、 上記 の実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 3 9をする。
この構成により、 アンテナ素子 1 1と無給電アンテナ素子 3 8とが電 磁的に結合することにより、 アンテナ 3 9を少なくとも 2つの周波数帯 域で動作させることができる。
なお、 無給電アンテナ素子 3 8をアンテナ素子 1 1の同一径の螺旋状 にして重なるようにまたは螺旋外周近傍に配設しても同様の効果が得ら れる。 また、 図 1 0には示していないが、 上記構成に加えて無給電ァ ンテナ素子 3 8の一端を接地導体板 1 5に電気的に接続することにより 上記と同様の効果を得ることができるとともに、 無給電アンテナ素子 3 8のインピーダンス特性の調整を容易に行うことができる。 (実施例 1 1 )
図 1 1は本発明の実施例 1 1におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 1において、 アンテナ主要部 4 0は、 アンテナ素子 1 1の外周近傍に無 給電メアンダ状素子 4 1を配設して構成した以外は上記実施例 1 0と同 様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 1 0と同様にアンテナ 4 2を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナ素子 1 1と無給電メアンダ状素子 4 1とが 電気的に結合することにより、 少なくとも 2つの周波数帯域で動作させ ることができる。 (実施例 1 2 )
図 1 2は本発明の実施例 1 2におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 2において、 アンテナ主部 4 3は、 無給電メアンダ状素子 4 4に直線部 4 5を形成し、 アンテナ素子 1 1の外周近傍に配設して構成した以外は 上記実施例 1 1 と同様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 1 1と同様にアンテナ 4 6を構成する。
この構成により、 無給電メアンダ状素子 4 4とアンテナ素子 1 1とが 電気的に結合することにより、 少なくとも 2つの周波数帯域で動作させ ることができる。 また、 アンテナ素子 1 1および直線部 4 5の長さを 調整することによりアンテナ 4 6のインピーダンス特性の調整が容易に できる。
(実施例 1 3 )
図 1 3は本発明の実施例 1 3におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 3において、 アンテナ主部 4 7は、 無給電メアンダ状素子 4 8および 4 9を離間して形成し、 アンテナ素子 1 1の外周近傍に配設して構成した 以外は上記実施例 1 1と同様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 1 1と同様にァ ンテナ 5 0を構成する。
この構成により、 無給電メアンダ状素子 4 8および 4 9とアンテナ素 子 1 1とが各々電気的に結合することにより、 少なくとも 2つの周波数 帯域で動作させることができる。 また、 無給電メアンダ状素子 4 8と 4 9の寸法や位置の調整によりアンテナ 5 0のインピーダンス特性の調 整が容易にできる。
(実施例 1 4 )
図 1 4は本発明の実施例 1 4におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 4において、 アンテナ主部 5 1は、 アンテナ素子を 1つのアンテナ素子 1 1を屈曲させて屈曲部 1 1 Aと直線部 1 1 Bとして構成させた以外は 上記実施例 1と同様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 5 2 を構成する。
この構成により、 スタブ 1 2に屈曲部 1 1 Aの誘導性リアクタンス分 が装荷され、 スタブ 1 2の容量性リアクタンス分を制御することでアン テナ 5 2のインピーダンス特性の調整の自由度を上げることができる。 また、 屈曲部 1 1 Aと直線部 1 1 Bの偏波方向が直交することで、 実使 用時の平均実効利得を向上させることができるという利点もある。
(実施例 1 5 )
図 1 5は本発明の実施例 1 5におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 5において、 アンテナ主部 5 3は、 アンテナ素子の給電点 1 3の側端を 曲げてメアンダ状素子部 1 9を構成した以外は上記実施例 5と同様のァ ンテナで、 上記実施例 5と同様にアンテナ 5 4を構成する。 この構成により、メアンダ状素子部 1 9にリアクタンス分が装荷され、 アンテナ 5 4のインピーダンス特性の調整の自由度を上げることができ る。 (実施例 1 6 )
図 1 6は本発明の実施例 1 6におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 6において、 アンテナ主部 5 5は、 アンテナ素子 1 1のスタブ 1 2と反 対側に直線部 5 6を電気的に接続し、 さらに直線部 5 6とメアンダ素子 部 5 7の一端を電気的に接続し、 アンテナ素子 1 1の外周近傍にメアン ダ状素子部 5 7を配設して構成した以外は、 上記実施例 7と同様のアン テナで、 上記実施例 7と同様にアンテナ 5 8を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナ素子 1 1とメアンダ状素子部 5 7との電気 的結合により、 アンテナ 5 8のインピーダンス特性の調整の自由度を上 げることができるとともに、 複数の周波数帯域にも対応できる。
(実施例 1 7 )
図 1 7は本発明の実施例 1 7におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 7において、 アンテナ主要部 5 9は、 アンテナ素子 6 0の開放端および スタブ 1 2を除いた箇所に分岐メアンダ状素子 6 1を電気的に接続し、 アンテナ素子 6 0の外周近傍に配設して構成した以外は、 上記実施例 1 6と同様のアンテナで、 実施例 1 6と同様にアンテナ 6 2を構成する。 この構成により、 アンテナ素子 6 0と分岐メアンダ状素子 6 1との電 気的結合により、 アンテナ 6 2のインピーダンス特性の調整の自由度を 上げることができるとともに、 複数の周波数帯域にも対応できる。 (実施例 1 8 )
図 1 8は本発明の実施例 1 8におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 8において、 アンテナ主部 6 3は、 分岐メアンダ状素子 6 4の一部に直 線部 6 5が形成され、 アンテナ素子 6 0の外周近傍に配設して構成した 以外は、 上記実施例 1 7と同様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 1 7と同様に アンテナ 6 6を構成する。
この構成により、 上記実施例 1 7の効果に加えて、 さらにアンテナ 6 6のインピ一ダンス特性の調整が容易にできる。 (実施例 1 9 )
図 1 9は本発明の実施例 1 9におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 1 9において、 アンテナ主部 6 7は、 分岐メアンダ状素子 6 8と無給電メ アンダ状素子 6 9とをアンテナ素子 6 0の外周近傍に配設して構成した 以外は、 上記実施例 1 7と同様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 1 7と同様に アンテナ 7 0を構成する。
この構成により、 上記実施例 1 7の効果に加えて、 さらにアンテナ 7 0のインピーダンス特性の調整が容易にできる。
(実施例 2 0 )
図 2 0は本発明の実施例 2 0におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 2 0において、 アンテナ主部 7 1は、 アンテナ素子 1 1の給電点 1 3に螺 旋状の給電線 7 2を形成して構成した以外は、 上記実施例 1と同様のァ ンテナで、 上記実施例 1と同様にアンテナ 7 3を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナ主部 7 1の給電線 7 2のリァクタンス分を 自由に装荷することができ、 その結果、 アンテナ 7 3のインピーダンス 特性の調整の自由度を上げることができる。 また、 アンテナ素子 1 1 と螺旋状の給電線 7 2の偏波方向が直交することで、 実使用時の平均実 効利得を向上させることができる。 (実施例 2 1 )
図 2 1は本発明の実施例 2 1におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 2 1において、 アンテナ主部 7 4は、 アンテナ素子 1 1の給電点 1 3に螺 旋状素子部 7 5の一端を電気的に接続し、 他端にメアンダ状素子部 7 6 を電気的に接続して給電線 7 7を形成した以外は、 上記実施例 2 0と同 様のアンテナで、 上記実施例 2 0と同様にアンテナ 7 8を構成する。
この構成により、 アンテナ主部 7 4の給電線 7 7のリアクタンス分を 自由に装荷することができ、 その結果、 上記実施例 2 0よりもアンテナ 7 8のインピーダンス特性の微調整が容易にできる。 また、 アンテナ 素子 1 1と給電線 7 7の偏波方向が直交することで、 実使用時の平均実 効利得を向上させることができる。
(実施例 2 2 )
図 2 2は本発明の実施例 2 2におけるアンテナの構成を表す。 図 2 2において、 第 1のアンテナ主部 1 0 Aは、 アンテナ素子を所望の周波 数帯域において良好なインピ一ダンス特性を呈するような電気長を有し た螺旋状のアンテナ素子 1 1 Cである。 その一方の端部は開放状態で、 他方の端部には垂直下方に形成したスタブ 1 2 Aに接続される。さらに、 給電線 1 4 Aが給電点 1 3 Aに接続されている。 また第 1のアンテナ主 部 1 O Aと面対称に第 2のアンテナ主部 1 0 Bを形成してアンテナ主部 7 9を構成している。 さらに、 アンテナ素子 1 1 Cおよび 1 1 Dの中 心軸と平行にかつ所定の間隔を保って接地導体板 1 5を配置される。 給 電線 1 4 Aおよび 1 4 Bは、 接地導体板 1 5に形成した孔 1 6 Aおよび 1 6 Bを非接触貫通している。
以上のように、 アンテナ 8 0が構成されている。 1 0 と 1 0:8と の対で構成されたこのようなアンテナ 8 0は、 ダイポ一ルアンテナと等 価な λ /2長のアンテナとなる。
以上のように構成されたアンテナ 8 0について、 以下にその動作を説 明する。
第 1および第 2のアンテナ主部 1 O Aおよび 1 0 Bにより受信された所 望の周波数帯域の信号電力は給電線 1 4 Aおよび 1 4 Bを介して、 無線 装置の平衡不平衡変換回路(図 2 2には示していない)を経て高周波回路 に入力される。 一方、 送信時には逆に無線装置の高周波回路から平衡 不平衡変換回路を経て、 給電線 1 4 Aおよび 1 4 Bを介して第 1および 第 2のアンテナ主部 1 0 Aおよび 1 0 Bにより自由空間へ放射される。 このときの放射パターンは、 ダイポールアンテナと等価であることは明 らかである。 また、 第 1および第 2のアンテナ主部 1 0 Aおよび 1 0 Bのインピーダンス特性は上記実施例 1と同様に調整できる。
この構成により、 インピーダンス整合回路を用いずに、 アンテナ 8 0 のインピーダンス特性の調整を容易にできるのみならず、 第 1および第 2のアンテナ主部 1 O Aおよび 1 0 Bに互いに逆相給電されるのでその 特性はダイポールアンテナと等価であると見なすことができ、 アンテナ 8 0を無線装置に搭載した場合に無線装置本体に流れる高周波電流を低 減し、 無線装置の使用時において人体が無線装置に及ぼす通信特性への 影響を低減することができる。
なお、 本実施例には実施例 1で説明したアンテナ体を用いたが、 実施 例 2— 2 1のいずれかのアンテナを用いても同様の効果および各実施例 で説明した優れた効果を得ることができる。
(実施例 2 3 )
図 2 3は本発明の実施例 2 3におけるアンテナを用いた携帯電話機の 構成を示す。 図 2 3に示すように、 携帯電話機 8 1の筐体 8 2の上面 部が平面状をなしており、 筐体 8 2内に上面部と平行に上記実施例 2 2 の第 1および第 2のアンテナ主部 1 0 Aおよび 1 0 Bが配置され、 アン テナの接地導体板としては携帯電話機 8 1の筐体 8 2内のグランド部 8 3を利用してアンテナ 8 4が構成されている。 それ以外は上記実施例 2 2と同様の構成である。
この構成により、 上記実施例 2 2の効果に加えて、 接地導体板が携帯 電話機 8 1の筐体 8 2内のグランド部 8 3で構成されているため、 アン テナ 8 4の携帯電話機 8 1内へのレイァゥトのしかたの自由度が上がる c また、 携帯電話機 8 1の筐体 8 2が機械的な衝撃からアンテナ 8 4を保 護することができ、 アンテナ 8 4の長寿命化を図ることができるととも に、携帯電話機 8 1本体の意匠設計の自由度を上げることができる。 さ らに、 インピーダンス整合回路を必要としないため、 携帯電話機 8 1を 低価格化できる。
(実施例 2 4 )
図 2 4は本発明の実施例 2 4におけるアンテナおよびそれを用いた携 帯電話機の構成を示す。 図 2 4において、 携帯電話機 8 5の筐体 8 6 の上面部は円弧形状をなしており、 この筐体 8 6内に円弧形状の上面部 に沿ってアンテナ素子 8 7 Aおよび 8 7 Bを配設した以外は上記実施例 2 3と同様である。
この構成により、 上記実施例 2 3の効果に加え、 携帯電話機 8 5の筐 体 8 6内に円弧形状の上面部に沿って第 1および第 2のアンテナ主部 8 8 Aおよび 8 8 Bを配設することにより携帯電話機 8 5のスペース有効 利用ができ省スペース化を図ることができる。
(実施例 2 5 )
図 2 5は本発明の実施例 2 5におけるアンテナおよびそれを用いた携 帯電話機の構成を示す。 図 2 5において、 携帯電話機 9 1の筐体 9 2 内の回路基板 9 3の上端部へ上記実施例 2 1— 2 2のいずれかに記載の アンテナ 9 4を配設し、 下端部へ上記実施例 2 1— 2 2のいずれかに記 載のアンテナ 9 5を配設し、 アンテナ 9 4とアンテナ 9 5の受信電力レ ベルを比較し、 受信電力の大きいアンテナと高周波回路 9 6とを自動的 に切り替えて接続するスィツチ 9 7を使ってダイバーシチ通信方式を構 成する。 ただし、 アンテナ 9 4および 9 5の搭載方法は上記実施例 2 3または 2 4と同様である。
この構成により、 携帯電話機 9 1の筐体 9 2が機械的な衝撃からアン テナ 9 4および 9 5を保護することができ長寿命化を図ることができる とともに、 ダイパーシチ通信方式を用いることで、 携帯電話機 9 1の使 用時における人体の影響を回避し良好な通信品質を得ることができる。 さらに、 上記 2つのアンテナ 9 4および 9 5をお互いが直交する位置関 係に配置することで、ダイパーシチ通信機能の向上を図ることもできる。
また、 アンテナの内蔵化により携帯電話機 9 1本体の意匠設計の自由 度を上げることができ、 さらにインピーダンス整合回路を必要としない ため携帯電話機 9 1を低価格化できる。 上述の実施例 1一 2 5において、螺旋状素子部をメアンダ状素子部に、 メアンダ状素子部を螺旋状素子部に変更してもよい。 また、 アンテナ 素子を構成する場合は上記の異なる形状の部分の組合せでも、 同一形状 の部分の組合せでもよい。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のように本発明によれば、 小型 ·薄型でインピーダンス整合回路 なしで広帯域化、 高感度化、 マルチパンド化を実現でき、 入力インピー ダンスの調整を容易に行うことを可能とした生産性の高いアンテナを提 供できる。 また、 本発明のアンテナを無線装置に内蔵して使用するこ とで、 外部から加えられる機械的衝撃からアンテナを保護できるのみな らず、 無線装置の広帯域化、 マルチパンド化、 高感度化、 小型 ·薄型化 が図れる。 さらに、 所望の周波数帯域に対応したインピーダンス特性 が得られるため、 無線装置の高周波回路に複雑なインピーダンス整合回 路が不必要となり、 無線装置の低価格化も図れる。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . 接地導体板と、
前記接地導体板と離間して配設された少なくとも一部が略螺旋状 の導体から成るアンテナ素子と、
前記アンテナ素子の端部と前記接地導体板を電気的に接続するス タブと、
前記端部から所定の距離にある前記アンテナ素子上の給電点と外 部回路とを電気的に接続する給電線と、
を備え、
前記アンテナ素子は誘電体材料製の保持部材によって前記接地導 体板上に固着されたアンテナ。
2 . 接地導体板と、
前記接地導体板と離間して配設された少なくとも一部が略メアン ダ状の導体から成るアンテナ素子と、
前記アンテナ素子の端部と前記接地導体板を電気的に接続するス タブと、
前記端部から所定の距離にある前記アンテナ素子上の給電点と外 部回路とを電気的に接続する給電線と、
を備え、 前記アンテナ素子は誘電体材料製の保持部材によって前記 接地導体板上に固着されたアンテナ。
3 . 接地導体板と、
前記接地導体板と離間して配設された少なくとも一部が略螺旋状 および略メアンダ状の導体から成るアンテナ素子と、 前記アンテナ素子の端部と前記接地導体板を電気的に接続するス タブと、
前記端部から所定の距離にある前記アンテナ素子上の給電点と外 部回路とを電気的に接続する給電線と、
を備え、 前記アンテナ素子は誘電体材料製の保持部材によって前記 接地導体板上に固着されたアンテナ。
4 . 前記アンテナ素子のスタブ、 アンテナ素子、 給電線のうち少な くとも一部が直線状の導体である請求項 1― 3のいずれか 1つに記載の

8 . 前記無給電アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部を略メアンダ状の導 体で構成する請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナ。
9 . 前記無給電アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部を直線状の導体で構 成する請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナ。
1 0 . 前記アンテナ素子上の所定の点において前記アンテナ素子を屈 曲させた請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナ。
1 1 . 前記アンテナ素子の端部以外の部分に分岐したアンテナ素子を 設ける請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナ。
1 2 . 分岐した前記アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部を略螺旋状または 略メアンダ状の導体で構成する請求項 1 1に記載のアンテナ。
1 3 . 前記アンテナ素子に接続された前記スタブおよび前記給電線の 少なくとも一方の少なくとも
一部を略螺旋状または略メアンダ状の導体で構成する請求項 1か ら 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナ。
1 4 . 請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナを 2つ備え、 前記 2つのアンテナを互いに逆相で給電するアンテナ。
1 5 . 前記接地導体板を無線装置の接地金属体と共用する請求項 1 一 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナ。
1 6 . 請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナを搭載した無 線装置であって、 前記無線装置の接地導体板または接地部を前記スタブ に電気的に接続し、 かつ前記無線装置の高周波回路に前記給電線を電気 的に接続した無線装置。
1 7 . 請求項 1から 3のいずれか 1つに記載のアンテナを 2基搭載し てダイパーシチ通信を行う無線装置であって、 前記無線装置の接地導体 板または接地部を前記スタブに電気的に接続し、
かつ前記無線装置の高周波回路に前記給電線を電気的に接続した
