Abstract

Beschrieben wird ein Brillenglas, das in einem ersten Durchblickbereich einen für das Sehen in die Ferne geeigneten Brechwert in Gebrauchsstellung; und in einem zweiten Durchblickbereich einen für das Sehen in mittlere Entfernungen, d.h. für Entfernungen von ca. einem Meter und mehr geeigneten Brechwert in Gebrauchsstellung aufweist; und bei dem der Brechwert kontinuierlich von dem ersten Durchblickbereich längs einer ebenen oder gewundenen Hauptliniezu dem zweiten Durchblickbereich ansteigt. Das erfindungsgemässe Brillenglas weist die folgenden Merkmale auf der Brechwert nimmt nicht nur von dem ersten Durchblickbereich zu dem zweiten Durchblickbereich, sondern auch über den zweiten Durchblickbereich, hinaus bis zum unteren Rand des Brillenglases kontinuierlich zu; der Bereich klarer Sicht, d.h. der Bereich, in dem der Restastigmatismus des Systems Brillenglas/Auge 0,5 dpt nicht übersteigt, verengt sich unterhalb des ersten Durchblickbereichs zum unteren Rand des Brillenglases trichterförmig, d.h. ohne Einschnürung.
