Abstract

La présente invention concerne les procédés et les dispositifs pour déterminer la qualité de réserve d'un puits de pétrole ou analogue débitant un fluide donné provenant d'une couche productrice, par la mesure de la réponse R du puits. Le procédé avec le dispositif selon l'invention, se caractérise par le fait qu'il consiste à moduler le débit du fluide (4) dans le puits (1) par une fonction sinusoïdale au moyen d'un obturateur commandable (5), et à mesurer les variations de débit et de pression du fluide respectivement avec un débitmètre (7) et un capteur de pression (9), que la réponse Rc du puits (1), dans le cas où la couche productrice comporte une zone endommagée présentant un 'SKIN' positif d'épaisseur non nulle, est obtenue par l'équation (I), et que la réponse Rf du puits, dans le cas où la couche productrice comporte une fracture présentant un 'SKIN' négatif, est obtenue par l'équation (II).
