Abstract

Ein Durchflussmesser umfasst ein von einem flüssigen oder gasförmigen Medium durchströmtes Messrohr (1), wenigstens zwei im Kontakt mit dem Medium angeordneten und mit einer Ge-nerator- und Empfangsschaltung (12) verbundenen Ultraschall-wandlern (6; 7). Der Ultraschallwandler (6; 7) besteht aus einem flächigen Piezoelement mit zwei eine ausgezeichnete Richtung bestimmenden, kammartig ineinandergreifenden, elek-trisch getrennten Elektroden eines Interdigitalwandlers. Die Elektroden sind nur auf einer der beiden Flächen des Piezo-elements angeordnet. Ein Wandlerträger ist flexibel nach Art einer Folie ausgebildet. Dieser kann gleichzeitig auch als Piezoelement dienen.
