Abstract

Device and method for magnetic resonance imaging of agricultural products, e.g. seeds, to determine physical and chemical characterisitcs thereof, e.g. the oil content. The device used is adapted for high-throughput MRI screening in that it has a large bore size and in that it comprises a sampling device with a plurality of plates, each plate being comprised of a plurality of wells. When applied to the seeds, the method aims at selecting seeds for selectively breeding plants.
