Abstract

Das Verfahren dient zur Reparatur von Elektrolysekathoden, die gemeinsam mit Anoden in einem galvanischen Bad zur Durchführung einer galvanischen Elektrolyse an eine Stromquelle angeschlossen werden. Die Elektrolysekathoden sind aus einem oberhalb des galvanischen Bades zur elektrischen Verbindung mit mindestens einer Versorgungsschiene angeordneten Querträger und einer in das galvanische Bad hineinragenden Kathode aus Metall hergestellt. Mindestens ein Teil des Kathodenbleches wird durch eine thermisch im wesentlichen gleichmässige Beaufschlagung im Bereich einer ersten Schnittkante vom Querträger abgetrennt. Ein Ersatzblech wird mindestens im Bereich einer dem Querträger zuwendbaren Ausdehnung durch eine thermisch im wesentlichen gleichmässige Beaufschlagung zur Bereitstellung einer zweiten Schnittkante zugeschnitten. Das Ersatzblech wird durch eine thermisch im wesentlichen gleichmässige Beaufschlagung im Bereich der zweiten Schnittkante mit der ersten Schnittkante verschweisst.
