Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung der Homoaconitase als neues Target für Fungizide. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft weiterhin die Identifizierung und Isolation der Nukleinsäuresequenz SEQ ID No: 1 kodierend für das Protein Homoaconitase sowie deren funktionelle Äquivalente sowie ein Verfahren zur Identifizierung von Verbindungen mit fungizider Wirkung basierend auf den vorstehend genannten Nukleinsäuresequenzen oder den durch diese Sequenzen kodierten Proteinen. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft weiterhin einen transgenen Organismus enthaltend die SEQ ID NO: 1 oder ein funktionelles Äquivalent der SEQ ID NO:l, der verglichen mit einem nicht transgenen Pilz durch eine erhöte Lysinproduktion gekennzeichnet ist.
