Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Auswerten eines mittels funktionaler Magnet-Resonanz-Tomographie gewonnenen Bildes (fMRI-Bild) des Gehirns angegeben. Dazu wird ein neuronales Netz zur Simulation der Aktivitäten des Gehirns verwendet. Vermutete Störungen im Gehirn werden im neuronalen Netz simuliert (gestörtes neuronales Netz). Die ermittelten Aktivitäten im gestörten neuronalen Netz werden mit den im fMRI-Bild beobachteten Aktivitäten verglichen. Der Ausfall beliebiger Substrukturen im Gehirn kann künstlich im Modell simuliert und seine Auswirkung auf das komplexe Zusammenspiel der Areale des Gehirns quantifiziert werden. Der Vergleich mit dem am Patienten gemessenen fMRI-Bild bzw. -Aktivitätsmuster führt zur Lokalisation der Störungsursache und damit zur erfolgreichen Diagnose.
