Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung eines Detektionsbereiches eines Pre-Crash-Sensorsystems eines Fahrzeuges, bei dem ein maximaler Detektionsabstand (dmax) ermittelt wird in Abhängigkeit von mindestens: einer Ansprechzeit (tspann) einer Sicherheitseinrichtung des Fahrzeuges, und einer ermittelten Fahrzustandsgrösse (veigen, aeigen, φgeigen) des Fahrzeuges. Erfindungsgemäss wird somit die Ermittlung eines Detektionsbereiches ermöglicht, der hinreichende Sensorsignale für eine sichere Precrash-Sensierung ermöglicht und dennoch die Datenmenge sinnvoll begrenzt. Weiterhin wird eine entsprechende Anordnung geschaffen.
