Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Knochen, insbesondere Knochen der Extremitäten, wobei an einem ausserhalb des Körpers längs eines gebrochenen Knochens anordbaren Vielgelenkstab mit Gliedern (1), die kugelgelenkartig miteinander verbunden und in ausgewählten Relativlagen festlegbar sind, in Abständen Knochennägel (9) zur Einbringung in den Knochen durch Haut und Weichteilmantel hindurch angebracht sind, wobei die Glieder (1) an einem Ende eine Kugel (2) und am anderen Ende eine Kugelpfanne (3) aufweisen und die Kugel (2) eines Glieds in der Kugelpfanne (3) eines anschliessenden Glieds liegt, wobei sich Kugel und Kugelpfanne geometrisch jeweils über mehr als eine Halbkugel erstrecken und wobei Kugel (2) und Kugelpfanne (3) eine Oberflächenaufrauhung aufweisen.

Description

Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Knochen
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Knochen gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Eine Vorrichtung dieser Art ist aus DE 19746687 AI bekannt. Diese bekannte Vorrichtung ist insofern nachteilig, als die Kugeln und Kugelpfannen der Kugelgelenke mit glatter Oberfläche ausgebildet sind, mit der Folge, dass übermäßig hohe Feststellkräfte zur Festlegung der Relativlagen der Glieder aufgebracht werden müssen, wenn die Fixiervorrichtung auch unter Belastung wirklich steif sein soll.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, eine Vorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art so zu verbessern, dass sie im fixierten Zustand bessere Formstabilität aufweist.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch eine Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Knochen mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst .
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche .
Im Folgenden wird eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung anhand der beigefügten Zeichnungen beschrieben. Auf diesen zeigt
Fig. 1 die erfindungsgemäße Fixiervorrichtung angebracht an einem Finger,
Fig. 2 (a) - (d) ein Glied der erfindungsgemäßen Fixiervorrichtung in einer Ansicht von der Seite, von hinten, von oben und in Perspektive, und
Fig. 3 (a) - (c) das Glied der Fig. 2 mit aufgesetztem gespanntem Spannbügel in einer Ansicht von der Seite, von hinten und von oben bei teilweise entferntem Spannbügel .
Fig. 1 zeigt die Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Knochen angebracht an einen Finger. Die Vorrich- tung weist einen Vielgelenkstab mit Gliedern 1 auf, wie sie in den Fig. 2 und 3 gezeigt sind. An den erforderlichen Stellen werden statt der einfachen Glieder 1 solche vorgesehen, die einen Knochennagel 9 tragen.
Die Glieder 1 weisen abgesehen von den Endgliedern an einem Ende eine Kugel 2 und am anderen Ende eine Kugelpfanne 3 auf . Die Kugelpfanne 3 und damit auch die Kugel 2 erstreckt sich geometrisch über mehr als eine Halbkugel, so dass zusammengefügte Glieder sich nicht ohne weiteres voneinander lösen. Das Zusammenfügen von Gliedern erfolgt unter elastischer Ver- formung der Kugelpfanne, die durch Schlitze 4 erleichtert wird. Die Festlegung der Relativlage benachbarter Glieder 1 erfolgt mit Hilfe von die Kugelpfanne außen umgebenden Spannbügeln 6, durch die im gespannten Zustand die Kugelpfanne 3 gegen die Kugel 2 des benachbarten Glieds, die die Kugelpfanne umgibt, gedrückt wird.
Um bei gleicher durch die Spannbügel 6 aufgebrachter Preßkraft eine Verbesserung der Fixierung der Relativlage benachbarter Glieder zu erzielen, sind die Oberflächen von Kugel 2 und Kugelpfanne 3 mit einer Oberflächenaufrauhung versehen.
Diese Aufrauhung kann bei Metallteilen, also bei einer Kugel und Kugelpfanne aus Metall oder jedenfalls mit metallener Oberfläche durch Senkerosion erreicht werden. Bei Kugel und Kugelpfanne aus Kunststoff läßt sich eine ähnliche Oberflächenstruktur erreichen, indem die Formoberfläche der Form, in der diese Teile gegossen werden, jedenfalls in den Teilen, die die Kugel und Kugelpfanne bestimmen, senkerodiert wird. Die auf diese Weise gewonnene Rauhigkeit der Formoberfläche bildet sich dann auf dem in der Form gegossenen Produkt ab.
Eine weitere Möglichkeit der Gewinnung der Oberflächenrauhigkeit besteht in einer Rändelung von Kugel und Kugelpfanne.
Bei Kunststoffteilen kommt auch ein rauher Auftrag auf die ursprünglich glatten Oberflächen von Kugel und Kugelpfanne in Betracht. Eine weitere Möglichkeit zur Verbesserung der Stabi- lisierung der Relativlage aneinander anschließender Glieder besteht darin, die Oberflächen von Kugel und Kugelpfanne nach Art eines Klettverschlusses auszubilden.

Claims

Ansprüche
1. Vorrichtung zur externen Fixierung von gebrochenen Knochen, insbesondere Knochen der Extremitäten, wobei an einem außerhalb des Körpers längs eines gebrochenen Knochens anord- baren Vielgelenkstab mit Gliedern (1) , die kugelgelenkartig miteinander verbunden und in ausgewählten Relativlagen festlegbar sind, in Abständen Knochennägel (9) zur Einbringung in den Knochen durch Haut und Weichteilmantel hindurch angebracht sind, wobei die Glieder (1) an einem Ende eine Kugel (2) und am anderen Ende eine Kugelpfanne (3) aufweisen und die Kugel (2) eines Glieds in der Kugelpfanne (3) eines anschließenden
Glieds liegt und wobei sich Kugel und Kugelpfanne geometrisch jeweils über mehr als eine Halbkugel erstrecken, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Kugel (2) und Kugelpfanne (3) eine Oberflächenaufrauhung aufweisen.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Kugel (2) und Kugelpfanne (3) eine Metalloberfläche aufweisen und dass die Oberflächen senkerodiert sind.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Kugel (2) und Kugelpfanne (3) in einer Form mit senkerodierter Formoberfläche gegossene Kunststofformteile sind.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oberflächen von Kugel (2) und Kugelpfanne (3) nach Art eines Klettverschlusses ausgebildet sind.
