Abstract

Wertdokument, z.B. Banknote, mit einem optischen Sicherheitsbereich (3), der eine erste periodische, optische Struktur, z.B. parallele Strichgitter-Linien, ein paralleles Linienraster oder Punktraster (1), umfasst und der ein Sicherheitszeichen (5) enthält, dessen Konturen eine zweite periodische, optische Struktur, z.B. parallele Strichgitter-Linien, ein paralleles Linienraster oder Punktraster (2), umschliessen, die zur ersten versetzt angeordnet ist, wobei die Erkennbarkeit des Sicherheitszeichens (5) durch Betrachtung mit einem Durchsicht-Element (4) erhöht wird, wobei das Durchsicht-Element (4) auf einem Bereich des Sicherheitsbereiches (3) so appliziert ist, dass der in dem vom Durchsicht-Element (4) überdeckten Bereich enthaltene Teil des Sicherheitszeichens (5) mit freiem Auge erkennbar ist.
