Abstract
L'invention concerne, suivant certaines formes d'exécution, un procédé de traitement d'un tissu comprenant l'application d'une charge directionnelle en vue de modifier les propriétés du tissu. En particulier, la force directionnelle est suffisante pour accroître la rigidité du tissu de façon asymétrique par rapport à un tissu non aligné, traité de façon équivalente, sans être soumis à une charge. Dans certaines formes d'exécution, une charge directionnelle suffisante est appliquée pour accroître la rigidité du tissu par rapport à un tissu non aligné traité de façon équivalente et qui n'est pas soumis à la charge, ladite charge étant appliquée au moyen d'un applicateur de charge. Un connecteur transfert la charge de l'applicateur au tissu. Un tissu sélectivement aligné, doté de propriétés mécaniques asymétriques peut être utilisé pour former une valve prothétique. Les valves sont adaptées, eu égard à chacune de leurs propriétés, de manière à avoir une coaptation améliorée vis-à-vis de valves en tissu correspondantes qui ne sont pas alignées.The invention relates, according to certain embodiments, to a method of treating a fabric comprising the application of a directional load in order to modify the properties of the fabric. In particular, the directional force is sufficient to increase the stiffness of the fabric asymmetrically compared to a non-aligned fabric, treated in an equivalent manner, without being subjected to a load. In some embodiments, a sufficient directional load is applied to increase the stiffness of the fabric compared to a non-aligned fabric treated in an equivalent manner and which is not subjected to the load, said load being applied by means of a charge applicator. A connector transfers the load from the applicator to the fabric. Selectively aligned tissue with asymmetric mechanical properties can be used to form a prosthetic valve. The valves are adapted, having regard to each of their properties, so as to have an improved coaptation with respect to corresponding tissue valves which are not aligned.
