Abstract
L'invention concerne un système de démarrage de générateur utilisant un bloc-batterie universel portable conçu pour démarrer le moteur à combustion interne du générateur. Ce système est conçu pour utiliser un bloc-batterie universel présentant des sorties de tension variable parmi une pluralité de bloc-batterie universels. The system is designed to use a universal battery pack having variable voltage outputs from a plurality of universal battery packs. The generator may include a permanent magnet generator (PMG) having first and second sets of windings. A set of windings generates an alternating current. The second set of windings is used to power the PMG like an electric motor using current from the universal battery pack. In one embodiment, the system includes a brushless DC controller that electronically switches the second set of windings to power the PMG like a brushless DC motor.
