Abstract

The invention relates to a method for obtaining the 5 'ends of transcribed regions of a plurality of nucleic acid fragments obtained from biological materials or from synthetic grouped fractions. The DNA fragments coding for the 5 ′ ends are enriched for their individual analysis or for the analysis of their concatemers. Sequence information derived from the 5 'ends can be used to characterize and clone the transcriptome.
