Abstract

Le procédé selon l'invention fait intervenir un poste de changement d'électrode comprenant une tête de transfert mobile (T,T’), dont les déplacements sont commandés par un processeur couplé au processeur de l'automate de soudage de manière à pouvoir se placer dans une position de travail théorique repérée par rapport à la position théorique de l'électrode de soudure que l'on veut remplacer, telle que déterminée par l'automate de soudage, la tête de transfert (T,T’)comprenant un extracteur (E) et un chargeur © pouvant être alternativement disposés coaxialement à un axe de transfert fixe par rapport à la tête et ce, avec une précision appropriée à la réalisation d'un changement d'électrode.
