Abstract

Dargestellt und beschrieben ist ein Kaminofen (1) zur Raumbeheizung über Lufterwärmung bzw. Konvektion mit wenigstens einem Feuerraum (7), wobei der Kaminofen (1) zwischen dem Betrieb mit Holzpellets und dem Betrieb mit stückigem Holz umschaltbar ist. Auf diese Weise wird ein Kaminofen (1) geschaffen, dessen Handhabung durch die wahlweise Verwendung von Holzpellets oder stückigem Holz deutlich verbessert wird. Ausserdem kann ein nahezu beliebiger Aufstellungsort, insbesondere ein Aufstellungsort ohne elektrischen Stromanschluss, für den erfindungsgemässen Kaminofen (1) gewählt werden. Die Erfindung bezieht sich ferner auf eine entsprechende Verwendungsmöglichkeit des erfindungsgemässen Kaminofens (1).
