Abstract

Procédé de séchage d'un revêtement non métallique sur une bande d'acier (1) selon lequel on fait défiler une bande d'acier (1) dans un four de séchage (3) vertical à parois relativement froides dans lequel on injecte de l'air chaud en partie haute (10a) et partie basse (10b) du four pour éviter la condensation de vapeurs sur les parois du four et on effectue un soutirage (4) de l'air injecté. On réalise un frein dynamique par injection (13a,13b) d'air chaud entre la partie basse et la partie haute du four et à distance de l'entrée et de la sortie du four, et par la création d'une surpression dans le tunnel du four de séchage de manière à limiter l'entrée d'air froid parasite et l'effet de cheminée dans le four vertical.
