- the coil 23 itself surrounds an integrated circuit chip 24, in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped and smaller than it.
- the integrated circuit chip 24 has on its front face 25 two connection terminals or "bumps" (in English terminology) 26 on which are welded or fixed by thermo-compression or by means of a conductive adhesive the two ends 29 of the wire metal of the coil 23. As shown in Figures 2a and 2b, the two connection terminals 26 of the chip 24 are arranged opposite one another in the lengthwise direction of the chip 24.
