Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation in situ de composés chiraux dérivés de complexes d'oxazaborolidine-borane, dans lequel on met en présence un borohydrure de métal, une base de Lewis, un ester d'acide inorganique, puis on additionne un amino-alcool optiquement actif et éventuellement un halogénure. Le composé obtenu est un complexe utile comme catalyseur dans les réactions de réduction asymétrique. La réaction se poursuit par ajout de la matière à réduire, en particulier des cétones ou étheroxymes prochirales, en vue de la synthèse d'alcools chiraux ou d'amines chirales.
