Abstract

Die Elektrolumineszenzeinrichtung umfasst eine Elektrolumineszenzvorrichtung (1), welche eine erste flächenhafte Elektrode (2) aus einem transparenten Material aufweist. Jeder der Grossflächen dieser ersten Elektrode (2) ist eine Schicht (3,4) aus einem lumineszenzfähigen Dielektrikum zugeordnet. Diese Leuchtschichten (3,4) sind transparent und sie sind aus Materialien, welche Licht mit unterschiedlichen Wellenlängen emittieren können. Den von der gemeinsamen Elektrode (2) abgewandten Grossflächen der Leuchtschichten (3,4) ist je eine Elektrode (5,6) zugeordnet. An der Vorderseite dieser EL-Vorrichtung (1) befindet sich eine tragende Lage (7), welche ebenfalls aus einem transparenten Material ist. Zwischen je zwei aufeinander folgenden Elektroden (5,2,6) ist je eine Spannungsquelle (11, 12) angeschlossen.
