[0004] 現在用いられている評価方法では、通信網におけるパケットのロス率、遅延等の通 信網の特性を、平均値、最大値、最小値、標準偏差、又は分散などとして表現するた め、通信網の特性をシミュレートする上での情報が十分ではない。特に VoIP通話の 通信品質の評価に重要なパケット毎の遅延時間の変化、バースト性等の通信網特性 の時間変動等の通信状況を正確にシミュレートすることができないという問題がある。 [0005] そこでパケットの遅延時間の変ィ匕、バースト性等の通信状況をシミュレートする方法 が例えば特許文献 1に提案されている。図 17は、パケットの到着時刻の遅延を模式 的に示す説明図である。図 17は、パケットの通信状況を測定し、測定した結果を、期 待する到着時刻と、実際の到着時刻との関係を示す説明図として模式的に示してい る。図 17の上方は、各パケットに対して期待される到着時刻を左から右へ時間が経 過する様に時系列に示しており、 1一 5番目までの送出順序が付与されたパケットに 対して送出間隔 dでの到着が期待されていることを 5個の長方形により示している。図 17の下方は、実際に測定した各パケットの到着時刻を示している。図 17に示す様に 1番目に送出されたパケットは、遅延時間が Od、即ち期待された通りに到着している 力 2番目に送出されたパケットは 3dの遅延時間が生じている。同様に 3番目、 4番 目及び 5番目に送出されたパケットは、夫々 2d、 Id及び Idの遅延時間が生じている 。即ち図 17に示した VoIP網では、遅延時間 0d、 ld、 2d及び 3dが 1個、 2個、 1個及 び 1個であることが測定されたことより、遅延時間 0d、 ld、 2d及び 3dが 20%、 40%、 20%及び 20%で分布して 、ると考えられる。
[0006] 図 18は、図 17の測定結果に基づいて VoIP網の通信状況の模擬試験(シミュレ一 シヨンテスト)を行った結果を模式的に示す説明図である。図 18の上方は、パケットを 送出する送出端末装置力 送出すべき時刻を時系列で示しており、 1一 5番目まで の送出順序が付与されたパケットに対して送出間隔 dでの送出が本来の送出時刻と して設定されていることを 5個の長方形により示している。図 18の下方は、図 17に示 した測定結果に基づく遅延時間を付加して VoIP網を模した結果を示して 、る。図 18 に示す様に 1番目に送出されるパケットには、 Idの遅延時間が付加され、 2番目、 3 番目、 4番目及び 5番目に送出されるパケットには、夫々 2d、 3d、 Od及び 2dの遅延 時間が付加されている。図 18から明らかな様に遅延時間の分布をシミュレートするこ とはできている力 2番目のパケット及び 3番目のパケット、並びに 4番目のパケット及 び 5番目のパケットに送出時刻の逆転が生じており、実際の通信状況をシミュレートし ているとは言い難い。
[0007] 図 19は、図 17の測定結果に基づいて VoIP網の通信状況の模擬試験を行った結 果を模式的に示す説明図である。図 19の上方は、パケットを送出する送出端末装置 力 送出すべき時刻を時系列で示しており、 1一 5番目までの送出順序が付与された パケットに対して送出間隔 dでの送出が本来の送出時刻として設定されていることを 5 個の長方形により示している。図 19の下方は、図 18に示した結果力 送出時刻の逆 転を回避すべく送出時刻を調整した結果を示している。即ち n番目のパケットの送出 時刻より、(n+ 1)番目のパケットの送出時刻が早くなる場合、(n+ 1)番目のパケット は、 n番目のパケットの直後に送出する様に調整する。図 19に示す例では、 2番目の パケットの送出時刻より早くなる 3番目のパケットの送出時刻を調整し、 4番目のパケ ットの送出時刻より早くなる 5番目のパケットの送出時刻を調整している。このようにし て送出時刻の逆転が生じることを回避する。しかしながら、最終的に観測される遅延 時間は、 1番目に送出されるパケットには、 Idの遅延時間が付加され、 2番目、 3番目 、 4番目及び 5番目に送出されるパケットには、夫々 3d、 2d、 2d及び Idの遅延時間 が付加されている。この結果は、図 17の測定結果である遅延時間の分布とは異なる 分布であり、この場合でも、実際の通信状況をシミュレートしているとは言い難い。 特許文献 1:特許第 2997607号公報
発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0008] し力しながら通信状況をシミュレートする従来の方法では、図 18に示す様に遅延時 間の分布に基づいて送出時刻を決定すると、送出時刻の逆転が生じ、実際の通信 状況と異なる状況が発生するという問題がある。また図 19に示す様に送出時刻の逆 転を回避すべく送出時刻を調整すると、遅延時間の分布が実際の通信状況とは異な る様になり、実際の通信状況を模して 、な 、ことになると 、う問題がある。

[0010] そして新たに開発した端末装置及び通信網を用いて VoIP網を構成した場合でも、 汎用型の端末装置及び通信網を用いて VoIP網を構成する場合でも、模擬試験に は同様の作業量が必要となるため、汎用型の端末装置及び通信網を用いる場合、 模擬試験が非効率であるという問題がある。 [0011] 本発明は斯力る事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、所定の変換方法にて遅延時間 の分布を変換した上で、遅延時間を加味した送出時刻の算出及び調整を行うこと〖こ より、実際の通信網の特性を模した送出時刻の導出が可能な通信品質評価方法、 該通信品質評価方法を適用した導出装置、該導出装置を用いた通信品質評価シス テム、及び前記導出装置を実現するためのコンピュータプログラムの提供を主たる目 的とする。

課題を解決するための手段

[0065] 以下、本発明をその実施の形態を示す図面に基づいて詳述する。本発明の通信 品質評価システムでは、先ず VoIP網等の既存の通信網のエンド'ツー 'エンド、即ち 端末装置間におけるパケットの遅延、消失率、揺らぎ等の通信状況である通信網の 特性を、例えば本願出願人が出願した特願 2004— 188922に記載して 、る通信特 性測定方法にて測定する。そして測定した結果に基づ 、て既存の通信網又は新た に設計した通信網の通信状況を、例えば IP電話網に用いられる擬似網としてシミュ レートする。そしてシミュレートした IP電話機による通話を被験者が体感することにより 、平均オピニオンスコア等の方法を用いて通話品質を評価する。なお、通話品質の 評価は、既存の測定装置を用いるなどの方法もある。

図 1は、本発明の実施の形態 1における通信品質評価システムを例示した概念図 である。図 1中 1は、通信用コンピュータを用いた本発明の導出装置であり、導出装 置 1は、本発明の通信品質評価方法を実施する場合に、評価すべき通信網上での パケットの遅延を再現するパケットの送出時刻の導出、導出した送出時刻に基づくパ ケットの送出等の様々な処理を行う。導出装置 1には、擬似網として用いられる通信 線 100, 100を介して、 IP電話機を用いた 2台の通信端末装置 2, 2が接続されてい る。そして 2台の通信端末装置 2, 2は、一方が送話側の通信端末装置 2として用いら れ、他方が受話側の通信端末装置 2として用いられる。なお夫々の通信端末装置 2 を特に区別する必要がある場合、送話側の通信端末装置 2を第 1通信端末装置 2aと し、受話側の通信端末装置 2を第 2通信端末装置 2bとして区別する。

[0069] 図 3は、本発明の実施の形態 1における導出装置 1が備える遅延時間データベース 13aの記録内容の例を概念的に示す図表である。遅延時間データベース 13aには、 遅延時間の分布を、パケットの消失率 (ロス率)、固定遅延、揺らぎ遅延等の項目及 び項目に関するデータである設定値を示している。遅延時間データベース 13aに記 録している揺らぎ遅延の遅延時間とは、シミュレートすべき VoIP網を介して送出され たパケットについて、到着が期待される時刻と実際に到着した時刻との差を示す遅延 時間である。以下、単に遅延時間と示す場合は、揺らぎ遅延の遅延時間を意味する 。消失率とは、到着先に到着せずに消失するパケットの割合を百分率で示したもので あり、図 3に示す例では、 3. 1%となっている。固定遅延とは、揺らぎ遅延とは別に通 信網の物理的な距離、装置数等の要因による一定の遅延である。なお揺らぎ遅延の みを考慮する場合、固定遅延に示す数値は無くても良い。揺らぎ遅延とは、送出され たパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を、補助項目として示される分級された遅延 時間及び該遅延時間の発生率を対応付けることにより示した値である。図 3に示す例 では、遅延時間を 30ms毎に分級しており、 Oms— 30msの揺らぎ遅延が発生する確 率は、代表値である Omsとして示した揺らぎ遅延に対応付けて記録しており、 30— 6 Omsの揺らぎ遅延が発生する確率は、代表値である 30msとして示した揺らぎ遅延に 対応付けて記録しており、 60— 90msの揺らぎ遅延が発生する確率は、代表値であ る 60msとして示した揺らぎ遅延に対応付けて記録して 、る。なお遅延時間の発生率 は、 VoIP網を伝送中に消失したパケットを除く到着したパケット内での割合を百分率 で示したものである。
[0070] 図 4は、本発明の実施の形態 1における導出装置 1が備える蓄積手段 16に蓄積さ れるパケットの記録内容の例を概念的に示す図表である。蓄積手段 16には、索引に 対応付けて、各パケットの送出予定時刻及びパケットデータが記録されている。送出 予定時刻とは、導出装置 1が、後述する処理により導出したパケットの送出時刻であ る。パケットデータとは、各パケットのデータ部に示される情報であり、本発明では、音 声を再現するための音声データ等の情報が含まれる。

[0075] 図 6は、本発明の実施の形態 1における通信品質評価システムの遅延時間分布記 録処理を概念的に示す説明図である。図 6 (a)は、本発明の実施の形態 1における 遅延時間分布処理を概念的に示しており、 10 : 00から 5分毎の通信状況を計測して 集計し、 10 : 15— 10 : 20を最も劣悪である条件下の通信状況として特定し、導出装 置 1が備える遅延時間データベース 13aに記録した状態を概念的に示している。な お図 6 (b)は、比較用として示した従来の遅延時間分布記録処理であり、全ての条件 下、ここでは計測した全ての時間における平均的な通信状況に基づく遅延時間分布 を記録することになる。実用上問題となるのは、最も劣悪な条件下でどの程度の通信 品質を保つことができるかであるので、本発明の処理が優れていることは明らかであ る。なお通信状況を区分する条件としては、時間毎の計測に限らず、例えば通信経 路毎の通信状況を計測し、最も劣悪な通信状況を特定する様にしても良い。
[0076] 図 7は、本発明の実施の形態 1における導出装置 1の送出時刻導出処理を示すフ ローチャートである。本発明の通信品質評価システムでは、第 1通信端末装置 2aから 導出装置 1へ音声データを含むパケットを送出し、導出装置 1では、第 1通信端末装 置 2aから受信したパケットを蓄積手段 16に蓄積し、送出時刻の導出を行った上で、 導出した送出時刻に基づいて蓄積手段 16に蓄積したパケットを第 2通信端末装置 2 bへ送出する。そして第 2通信端末装置 2bでは、受信したパケットに含まれる音声デ ータに基づく音声を出力することにより、音声を聞いた被験者が通信品質を判定する 。なお音声データを含むパケットは、 VoIP通信に用いられる通信規約である RTP (Realtime Transport Protocol)等の規定に基づいている。導出装置 1は、記憶手段 1 4に記憶させた本発明のコンピュータプログラム 201を実行する制御手段 11の制御 により、第 1通信手段 15aにて、音声データを含む RTPにて規定される通信規約に 基づくパケット(以下、 RTPパケットと 、う)を受信する(S201)。
[0077] そして導出装置 1は、制御手段 11の制御により、受信した RTPパケットに含まれる 音声データのフレーム長 F (ms)を導出する(S202)。フレーム長 Fは、 RTPパケット のヘッダ情報として示されている CODEC種別及びペイロード長のバイト数力 導出 される。なお後述する送出時刻を導出する導出処理 Gを複数個記録している場合、 この時点でどの導出処理 Gを実行するかが決定される。ここでは導出処理 Gとして、「 遅延時間 D (ms)を付加したパケットの後に {ceil (DZF)—1 }個のパケットを連続して 送出する。但し ceil ()は切り上げ整数化の関数」という処理を実行する導出処理 G1 を用いるものとする。なお導出処理 Gとしては、その目的に応じて適宜定義することが 可能であり、例えば「遅延時間 D (ms)を付加したパケットの後、所定時間(ms)待機 後、 {ceil (DZF)-l }個のパケットを連続して送出する。」という様な様々な処理を定 義することが可能である。

[0095] 図 9は、本発明の実施の形態 1における導出装置 1のパケット送出処理を示すフロ 一チャートである。導出装置 1は、記憶手段 14に記憶させた本発明のコンピュータプ ログラム 201を実行する制御手段 11の制御により、 1ms等の所定時間待機し (S401 )、時計手段 17が示す時刻 Tを読み取り(S402)、読み取った時刻 Tと、蓄積手段 16 に記録されているパケットの送出時刻 Tdとを比較して、 Td≤Tの関係にある RTPパ ケットを蓄積手段 16から読み取り(S403)、読み取った RTPパケットを第 2通信手段 15bから第 2通信端末装置 2bへ送出し (S404)、ステップ S401へ戻り、以降の処理 を繰り返す。このようにして導出装置 1は、導出した送出時刻 Tdに基づいて RTPパケ ットを第 2通信端末装置 2bへ送出し、第 2通信端末装置 2bを操作する被験者は、受 信した RTPパケットに基づき第 2通信端末装置 2bから出力される音声を試聴する。 出力される音声の品質は、遅延時間データベース 13aに記録された情報に基づぐ RTPが通過する通信網の通信状況を再現した通信品質である。

実施の形態 2は、通信条件が汎用的なものである場合に、通信状況を再現すること なぐ通信品質の評価を行えるようにした形態である。図 10は、本発明の実施の形態 2における通信品質評価システムが備える導出装置の構成例を示すブロック図であ る。導出装置 1は、本発明の実施の形態 2における導出装置用のコンピュータプログ ラム 202及びデータ等の各種情報を記録した記録媒体 302から各種情報を読み取 る補助記憶手段 12、記録手段 13、記憶手段 14、キーボード及びマウス等の入力手 段 18、並びにモニタ及びプリンタ等の出力手段 19を備えている。なお記録手段 13 の記録領域の一部は、通信条件及び通信品質の評価結果を対応付けて記録する評 価結果データベース (評価結果 DB) 13bとして用いられて 、る。
[0099] 図 11は、本発明の実施の形態 2における導出装置 1が備える評価結果データべ一 ス 13bの記録内容を例示する概念図である。評価結果データベース 13bには、通信 に用いる装置の特性及び通信網の特性を示す通信条件と、通信品質を数値化して 示す評価結果とが対応付けて記録されている。装置の特性とは、 RTPパケットを送出 する側の通信端末装置の特性及び RTPパケットを受信する側の通信端末装置の特 性である。通信網の特性とは、通信網の通信状況を示す特性である。評価結果デー タベース 13bに記録されている通信条件及び通信品質は事前に行った品質評価テ ストにより求めたものである。
[0100] 図 12は、本発明の実施の形態 2における導出装置 1が備える評価結果データべ一 ス 13bに記録されている通信端末装置の特性の内容の例を概念的に示す図表であ る。図 12は、図 11の通信端末装置の特性として「AAA」、「BBB」として表現した内 容を更に詳細に記載したものである。図 12に示す様に通信端末装置の特性として、 通信端末装置の機種名、 CODEC種別、バッファ長、 PLC (Packet Loss Conce alment)等の各種項目にデータが記録されている。なお図 12に示した項目はあくま でも一つの例に過ぎず、必要に応じて様々な項目を設けることが可能である。
[0101] 図 13は、本発明の実施の形態 2における導出装置 1が備える評価結果データべ一 ス 13bに記録されている通信網の特性の内容の例を概念的に示す図表である。図 1 3は、図 11の通信網の特性として「特性 1」、「特性 2」として表現した内容を更に詳細 に記載したものである。図 13に示す様に通信網の特性として、通信状況の計測開始 時刻、計測時間、 R値、消失率、固定遅延、及び揺らぎ遅延等の各種項目にデータ が記録されている。なお図 13に示した項目はあくまでも一つの例に過ぎず、必要に 応じて様々な項目を設けることが可能である。
[0102] 次に本発明の実施の形態 2における通信品質評価システムにて用いられる導出装 置 1の処理について説明する。図 14は、本発明の実施の形態 2における導出装置 1 の通信品質評価処理を示すフローチャートである。本発明の実施の形態 2では、予 め通信品質を評価する通信網の特性の計測又は想定を行!、、使用すべき通信端末 装置を決定し、導出装置 1の操作者は、計測又は想定した通信網の特性並びに決 定した通信端末装置の特性を導出装置 1に入力する。なお入力の方法としては、入 力手段 18を用いた入力、記録媒体に記録した各種特性の補助記憶手段 12による 読み取り、接続している他の装置からの読み取り等、適宜選択することが可能である 。導出装置 1は、記憶手段 14に記憶させた本発明のコンピュータプログラム 202を実 行する制御手段 11の制御により、通信網の特性並びに送出側及び受信側の通信端 末装置の特性、即ち通信条件の入力を受け付け (S501)、受け付けた通信条件に 合致又は近似する通信条件に対応付けられた通信品質の評価結果を評価結果デ ータベース 13bから抽出し (S502)、抽出した通信品質の評価結果により示された出 力手段 19から出力する(S503)。このようにして出力された通信品質の評価結果は、 想定した装置及び通信網にて構成される VoIP網の通信状況に係る通信品質の評 価結果とみなすことができる。
[0103] ステップ S502において、受け付けた通信条件に合致する通信条件が評価結果デ ータベース 13bに記録されている場合は、その通信条件に対応付けられた通信品質 の評価結果を抽出する。但し受け付けた通信条件に合致する通信条件が評価結果 データベース 13bに記録されていない場合、その通信条件に最も近似する通信条件 を判定することになる。通信条件の一つである通信端末装置の特性は、特別に設計 した装置を用いる場合を除き、合致する通信条件が評価結果データベース 13bに既 に記録されている可能性が高いため、通信条件の近似の判定は、通信網の特性を 比較することにより行われる。
[0104] 通信網の特性の比較は、受け付けた通信網の特性と、評価結果データベース 13b に通信網の特性として各種項目に記録されているデータを所定の方法で比較するこ とにより行われる。例えば下記の式 5にて求められる評価値 Vが最小となる通信網の 特性が最も近似する通信網の特性であると判定する。

請求の範囲
[1] 所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装 置を用い、通信品質の評価に要する処理を実行する通信品質評価方法にぉ 、て、 前記導出装置は、
予め記録されている送出されたパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を所定の変換 方法にて変換し、
変換した遅延時間の分布及び所定の送出時刻に基づ!/、て、遅延時間を加味した パケットの送出時刻を算出する
ことを特徴とする通信品質評価方法。
[2] 所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装 置を用い、通信品質の評価に要する処理を実行する通信品質評価方法にぉ 、て、 前記導出装置は、
予め記録されている送出されたパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を所定の変換 方法にて変換し、
変換した遅延時間の分布及び所定の送出時刻に基づ!/、て、遅延時間を加味した パケットの送出時刻を算出し、
算出した遅延時間を加味した送出時刻により、パケットの送出順序が変化するか否 かを判定し、
パケットの送出順序が変化すると判定した場合、送出順序が変化しな 、様に調整し たパケットの送出時刻を導出する
ことを特徴とする通信品質評価方法。
[3] 所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装 置を用い、通信品質の評価に要する処理を実行する通信品質評価方法にぉ 、て、 前記導出装置は、
異なる条件下で計測した夫々の通信状況を読み取り、
読み取った通信状況の中で、通信品質が最も劣悪な通信状況を特定し、 特定した通信状況での、遅延時間の分布を記録する
ことを特徴とする通信品質評価方法。
[4] 順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装置を用い、通信品質 の評価に要する処理を実行する通信品質評価方法において、
前記導出装置は、
通信条件の入力を受け付け、
予め記録されて!、る、通信条件及び該通信条件に対応する通信品質の評価結果 の関係から、受け付けた通信条件に合致又は近似する通信条件に対応する通信品 質の評価結果を抽出する
ことを特徴とする通信品質評価方法。
[5] 所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装 ¾【こ; i l /、て、
送出されたパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を記録する遅延時間データベース と、
該遅延時間データベースに記録されている遅延時間の分布を読み取る手段と、 読み取った遅延時間の分布を所定の変換方法にて変換する手段と、
変換した遅延時間の分布及び所定の送出時刻に基づ!/、て、遅延時間を加味した パケットの送出時刻を算出する手段と
を備えることを特徴とする導出装置。
[6] 所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装

送出されたパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を記録する遅延時間データベース と、
該遅延時間データベースに記録されている遅延時間の分布を読み取る手段と、 読み取った遅延時間の分布を所定の変換方法にて変換する手段と、
変換した遅延時間の分布及び所定の送出時刻に基づ!/、て、遅延時間を加味した パケットの送出時刻を算出する手段と、
算出した遅延時間を加味した送出時刻により、パケットの送出順序が変化するか否 かを判定する手段と、
パケットの送出順序が変化すると判定した場合、送出順序が判定しな 、様に調整し たパケットの送出時刻を導出する導出手段と
を備えることを特徴とする導出装置。
[7] 前記所定の変換方法は、前記導出手段が導出した送出時刻に基づく遅延時間の 分布を、遅延時間データベースに記録している遅延時間の分布に合致させるベく変 換することを特徴とする請求項 6に記載の導出装置。
[8] 前記導出手段は、遅延時間を加味した送出時刻に基づく送出順序が、元の送出 順序と異なるパケットの送出時刻を調整するように構成してあることを特徴とする請求 項 6又は請求項 7に記載の導出装置。
[9] 前記遅延時間データベースは、遅延時間の分布として、送出されたパケットの到着 時の遅延時間及び該遅延時間の発生率を対応付けて記録してあり、
前記所定の変換方法は、遅延時間の発生率を変換する変換方法である ことを特徴とする請求項 5乃至請求項 8のいずれかに記載の導出装置。
[10] 前記遅延時間データベースは、送出されたパケットの到着時の消失率を記録して あり、
遅延時間データベースに記録されている消失率を読み取る手段と、
読み取った消失率に基づ 、て、送出すべきパケットを破棄する手段と
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項 5乃至請求項 9のいずれかに記載の導出装置
[11] 異なる条件下で計測した夫々の通信状況を読み取る手段と、
読み取った通信状況の中で、通信品質が最も劣悪な通信状況を特定する特定手 段と、
特定した通信状況での、送出されたパケットの遅延時間の分布を遅延時間データ ベースに記録する手段と
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項 5乃至請求項 10のいずれかに記載の導出装 置。
[12] 前記異なる条件は、計測する時刻であり、
前記特定手段は、通信品質を示す R値、パケットの消失率及び遅延状況の中の少 なくとも一つに基づ 、て、最も劣悪な通信状況を特定するように構成してある ことを特徴とする請求項 11に記載の導出装置。
[13] 通信条件及び通信品質の評価結果を対応付けて記録する評価結果データベース と、
通信条件の入力を受け付ける手段と、
受け付けた通信条件に合致又は近似する通信条件に対応付けられた通信品質の 評価結果を評価結果データベース力 抽出する手段と
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項 5乃至請求項 12のいずれかに記載の導出装 置。
[14] 前記通信条件は、通信に用いる装置の特性及び通信網の特性であることを特徴と する請求項 13に記載の導出装置。
[15] 順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出する導出装置において、
通信条件及び通信品質の評価結果を対応付けて記録する評価結果データベース と、
通信条件の入力を受け付ける手段と、
受け付けた通信条件に合致又は近似する通信条件に対応付けられた通信品質の 評価結果を、評価結果データベースから通信状況として抽出する手段と
を備えることを特徴とする導出装置。
[16] 請求項 5乃至請求項 14の 、ずれかに記載の導出装置と、
該導出装置と通信する通信端末装置と
を備え、
前記導出装置は、送出時刻に基づいてパケットを前記通信端末装置へ送出する手 段を備える
ことを特徴とする通信品質評価システム。
[17] 前記パケットは、音声データを含むことを特徴とする請求項 16に記載の通信品質 評価システム。
[18] コンピュータに、所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を 導出させるコンピュータプログラムにおいて、
コンピュータに、送出されたパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を記録する遅延時 間データベースから、遅延時間の分布を読み取らせる手順と、
コンピュータに、読み取った遅延時間の分布を所定の変換方法にて変換させる手 順と、
コンピュータに、変換した遅延時間の分布及び所定の送出時刻に基づいて、遅延 時間を加味したパケットの送出時刻を算出させる手順と
を実行させることを特徴とするコンピュータプログラム。
[19] コンピュータに、所定の送出時刻で順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を 導出させるコンピュータプログラムにおいて、
コンピュータに、送出されたパケットの到着時の遅延時間の分布を記録する遅延時 間データベースから、遅延時間の分布を読み取らせる手順と、
コンピュータに、読み取った遅延時間の分布を所定の変換方法にて変換させる手 順と、
コンピュータに、変換した遅延時間の分布及び所定の送出時刻に基づいて、遅延 時間を加味したパケットの送出時刻を算出させる手順と、
コンピュータに、算出した遅延時間を加味した送出時刻により、パケットの送出順序 が変化するカゝ否かを判定させる手順と、
コンピュータに、パケットの送出順序が変化すると判定した場合、送出順序が変化 しない様に調整したパケットの送出時刻を導出させる手順と
を実行させることを特徴とするコンピュータプログラム。
[20] コンピュータに、異なる条件下で計測した夫々の通信状況を読み取らせる手順と、 コンピュータに、読み取った通信状況の中で、通信品質が最も劣悪な通信状況を 特定させる手順と、
コンピュータに、特定した通信状況での、送出されたパケットの遅延時間の分布を 遅延時間データベースに記録させる手順と
を実行させることを特徴とする請求項 19に記載のコンピュータプログラム。
[21] コンピュータに、順次送出すべき複数のパケットの通信状況を導出させるコンビユー タプログラムにおいて、
コンピュータに、通信条件の入力を受け付けた場合に、通信条件及び通信品質の 評価結果を対応付けて記録する評価結果データベースから、受け付けた通信条件 に合致又は近似する通信条件に対応付けられた通信品質の評価結果を、通信状況 として抽出させる手順を実行させることを特徴とするコンピュータプログラム。
