Abstract

L'invention concerne une face avant pour véhicule automobile comportant une armature pour amortir un choc. Cette armature est une traverse supérieure (108) et ladite traverse supérieure (108) comporte un support (4) qui porte un absorbeur (6 ; 16 ; 36 ; 46 ; 56) comportant un ensemble de portions absorbantes (10, 12 ; 18, 20 ; 22, 26 , 38 ; 48 ; 60) agencées selon une géométrie choisie de sorte que l'absorbeur (6 ; 16 ; 36 ; 46 ; 56) présente, à partir d'un seuil d'effort choisi, une raideur relative sensiblement nulle pour pouvoir se déformer sous effort sensiblement constant lors d'un choc. Application au domaine de l'automobile.
