Abstract

Ein Dampfkraftwerk (12) mit mindestens einem Dampferhitzer (14, 22) zum Bereitstellen von komprimiertem Dampf, einer dem Dampferhitzer (14, 22) nachgeschalteten, auf einer Hauptantriebswelle (20) angeordneten und als Hochdruck- oder Mitteldruckturbine ausgelegten Hauptturbine (18, 24), sowie einer zwischen den Dampferhitzer (14, 22) und die Hauptturbine (18, 24) geschalteten und auf einer Zusatzantriebswelle (32) angeordnete Zusatzturbine (30, 34), ist erfindungsgemäß dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zusatzturbine (30, 34) auf eine gegenüber einer Nenndrehzahl der Hauptturbine (18, 24) um mindestens 50% höher liegende Betriebsdrehzahl ausgelegt ist.
