Definitions
- the present invention is equipped with a motorized bending endoscope in which a bending portion performs electric bending in a state corresponding to an absolute position signal by operating a bending operation instruction unit that outputs an absolute position signal. About the mirror.

- the driving force of the bending motor force is transmitted to the bending portion by the clutch mechanism, the bending state of the bending portion is monitored by the potentiometer.
- the position detection of the bending portion with the potentiometer is not necessarily an accurate value, so there is a possibility that the position detection when the force clutch is connected may contain an error, which is particularly effective when the clutch is disconnected. Suitable for flexible curvature control, and there is a problem.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described point, and it is possible to easily use the clutch according to the bending state according to the bending state even if the driving force transmission / disconnection state is switched to the Z driving force transmission / restoration state using the clutch mechanism.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a motorized bending endoscope capable of performing appropriate bending drive control in accordance with the driving force transmission state to the bending portion.
